Special Death Prediction: Esmeraude vs Anacondy

In the Magical Girl Genre, love is one of the most pervasive and powerful themes, if not the most. Love is the power source of many Magical Girls and the thematic core of why a Magical Girl ever fights. But not all Love is Pure and even the hearts of villains are touched by its delicate embrace. Even the darkest of hearts, Magical Girl final villains that are complete monsters, still have those whose hearts beat for them and today those hearts will struggle against each other. Two Villainesses united in their love and devotion for an evil final villain to the point of opposing teams of Magical Girls.

Esmeraude of the Black Moon Clan from Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon

Anacondy the Administrator of Eternal from Yes! PreCure 5 Gogo

Esmeraude:

In the 30th Century, the world has come under the prosperous domain of the Silver Crystal wielded by Neo-Queen Serenity. It is a harmonious world whose populace no longer ages past maturity due to the Silver Crystal's life-giving property.

However, not all people accepted the Silver Crystal's blessing. A clan of rebels emerged proclaiming the Silver Crystal's life extension was blasphemy against God. They proclaimed that the true nature of reality was conflict and death, committing crime and massacre, bearing the marking of the Black Moon on their heads.  Escaping the Earth they were called to Nemesis, the 10th planet of the Sol System which they turned into their base to attack the Earth from.

One of the leaders was Esmeraude serving in the court of Prince Demande himself, the ruler of the Black Moon in its entirety. Prince Demande, guided by his belief that love is taken by force wanted to take Neo-Queen Serenity for himself, linking it with the capture of the Earth for himself. Esmeraude had feelings for the Prince but as part of her devotion sought to capture the Queen and deliver her to the Prince.

On Nemesis the people of the Black Moon Clan were guided by a strange entities known as Wiseman. He gave them fragments of a stone called the Evil Black Crystal, the evil version of the Silver Crystal. Using its power they launched a surprise attack on the Earth, sending the Queen into a coma and causing the princess Small Lady Serenity to escape to the past. While other members of the Black Moon Clan were assigned to go to the past to capture the Princess and remake Earth's history, Esmeraude planned to use the gifts she received from Wiseman to capture the Queen. However she was stopped and destroyed by Tuxedo Kamen after he was given greater powers from King Endymion unexpectedly.

Power:

Esmeraude is a high ranking member of the Black Moon Clan. Like all Members of the Black Moon Clan she can tank being on Nemesis, a Black Hole. Notably, the Black Moon Clan withstood this before they even met Wiseman showing that any power increase from the Black Crystal stacked on top of this. This is consistent with Saphir regularly tanking it despite not wearing Black Crystal Earrings until late in the Arc when he is brainwashed from Wiseman. Nemesis is considered the 10th planet of the Solar System. If its size was compared to Pluto's of 2,370 Kilometers (thought to be a planet at the time of the Manga's publication), then the Black Hole's mass would be 802.3 times that of the Sun. Using the Size of the Earth it would have a mass of 4,318 times that of the Sun. The process of traveling through time and creating the Droids causes said Nemesis to become unstable as it involves accelerating its nuclear fusion. This level of power should scale to any basic droid which regularly withstand this energy to travel back in time. Later after the Nuclear Reactor undergoes a meltdown, Nemesis grows immense with Black Lady calling it invincible and Demande calling it colossal. Despite this, Saphir is seemingly unconcerned when he thinks Black Lady is taking them to the core of the planet where said mass would be concentrated. Esmeraude is far stronger then Saphir, the Black Moon Clan's Agents as one of their Primary Field Agents. Not only does she outright mock him (5:05) but she was able to withstand an attack from Sailor Venus without any visible damage when prior in the arc Sailor Venus herself was able to withstand an attack from all four Ayakashi Sisters at once without visible damage. These Ayakashi Sisters can match and surpass the power of the other Guardian Senshi at the time , who can one shot groups of Black Moon Clan Droids. (12) Saphir calls the energy of time travel these Droids regularly withstand magnificent and enormous and was going to use a black crystal shard just to kill civilian state powerless Sailor Moon. (1, 2) Alongside upper end Black Moon Clan Scaling, Esmeraude also benefits from this scaling to the Sailor Senshi and their feats.

The Sailor Senshi are the Cosmic Guardians of things like Planets and Stars, the Stars in Sailor Moon being Living Beings (12) and which a Sailor Senshi Trainee can easily destroy. (12) Sailor Moon with her first attack, a joke attack that she creates via her hairpieces amplifying her crying, can accidentally destroy Jadeite's dimension. This dimension has a Moon in it, and some people interpret the background as being stars as well. The Distance from the Moon to the Earth is 348,400 kilometers much larger then even Jupiter's diameter of 142,984 kilometers. Destroying a dimension of such size is destroying a space akin to that of small stars, especially as the Moon's distance from Earth is likely at least the radius rather then the diameter as the Moon likely orbits the planet. Sailor Moon would grow hundreds or thousands of times stronger then this with the first unveiling of the Silver Crystal. Prior to that, Sailor Moon had to use ALL her power to restore the life energy of all Tokyo. (123) Yet later when the Silver Crystal leaves her, it emanates power that is compared to a supernova and revitalizes the whole planet with its passive energy output. This would likely be at least hundreds of times, and quite likely thousands of times, the power Usagi used prior comparing Tokyo to the Earth in general. Usagi in her form as Princess Serenity tanks this energy with her civilian state becoming that of Princess Serenity, the same civilian state Saphir threatened. Kunzite similarly withstood this power yet the Guardian Senshi overpowered and destroyed him before getting a power up for the second arc.  Also if you use dimensional tiering, Mercury created a "super dimensional space" within the first arc.

Speed:

There are numerous Upper FTL to Lower MFTL feats for Sailor Moon Low Tiers. Minako before transforming for the first time accidentally sent herself all the way to Magellan Castle in orbit around Venus in minutes at most, likely seconds. The Aliens of Mau and Coronis both came from other star systems, requiring traversing interstellar space yet are low tiers where Luna is easily one shot by the first arc villain Dark Endymion and Phobos and Deimos were unable to beat the First Arc Villain Jadeite. Hotaru was able to travel in her civilian state from Earth to Charon Castle orbiting Pluto instantly calced at over 4,000c. This is NOT teleportation. Sailor Senshi teleportation is actually utilizing their Henshin Energy and automatically transforms them to use (1, 2) with Hotaru arriving still in Civilian State. Finally, the Weaver Stars regularly travel dozens of lightyears from their places in the sky to Earth for Tanabata. (12) This would be at least dozens of times the speed and likely thousands of times the speed of light. Rubeus should easily scale above any of these characters yet when he launched an attack at Usagi and Chibiusa a few meters away, Mamoru at some unknown part of the city sensed the attack, transformed and knocked them out of the way, blitzing the attack with speeds far faster, likely by tens or hundreds of times. Esmeraude battled an even stronger version of Tuxedo Kamen, able to grab him without him able to avoid the attack.

The Upper Tiers of the Black Moon Clan have a couple much more extreme speed feats and implications. Demande believed with the Black Crystal he would conquer all planets, all dimensions even. Bear in mind the reason the Black Moon Clan rebelled is that they believed the life extension of the Silver Crystal was blasphemy against God so this would have to be within the normal lifespan of a human. In fact given Demande's characteristic reckless impatience, it would likely be a much shorter timespan. Even traversing said the length of a singular universe in that timeframe would be vastly higher then any prior speed feat. Later on Black Lady would take Demande and Saphir to beyond space-time, Wiseman's domain created by the Black Crystal. (1, 2) Admittingly Demande and Black Lady are both pretty objectively stronger then Esmeraude so she shouldn't scale directly to them, though she's clearly closer to them then SM low tiers mentioned prior. Also in the latter feat both Demande and Saphir were able to react to outside stimulus as they traveled and given Esmeraude's superiority to Saphir, her reaction speeds may scale to this feat.

Self-Sustenance:

Esmeraude like pretty much anyone of note in the Sailor Moon Universe can tank being in outer space. Like the rest of the Black Moon Clan, she can withstand being on planet Nemesis despite it being a Black Hole with massive radiation and negative energy emanating from it.

Black Crystal Earrings:

The source of the Black Moon Clan's power, Esmeraude wears two Black Crystal Earrings, shards of the Black Crystal. Just as the Silver Crystal emanates energy, the Black Crystal absorbs it. Even shards of the Black Crystal absorbed energy around it until it reached a negative level and then the minimum level. This is because they have immense power but negative energy. Larger chunks are called Megaliths and can destroy the surface of the planet. A Megalith performed the same abilities as the Earring on a larger scale, and created a poisonous mist that gradually faded things away. It's possible the Earring would do the same if used for a long enough time.

The main asset of the Black Crystal and the pieces of it is to distort spacetime. This allows levitation and teleportation. Supposedly it allows one to teleport oneself anywhere one wishes to go. As it allows teleportation to the Nemesis of the 30th Century and the Earth of the Present Day, it allows time travel though Sailor Moon Time Travel does not allow time travel to the same time-space as another you without causing paradox.

These Earrings if need can also be turned into a bomb strong enough to threaten Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon.

Droids:

Droids are the footsoldiers of the Black Moon Clan. They are killer robots from the future who infiltrated human society by disguising themselves as humans. They are intelligent enough to infiltrate human society and mimic their target well enough nobody knew what was happening and they are strong enough that in groups they pose a threat to the Second Arc Sailor Senshi.

Black Moon Clan members typically deploy groups of Droids with Esmeraude showing the ability to summon Chiral and Achiral (11:20) These two, the Boule Brothers, are called the "Black Moon Clan's Artistic Masterpiece" They possess the power of Matter Manipulation on the Atomic Scale. They were able to create a Crystal Palace Enantiomer to fool Sailor Moon and allies, an Enantiomer being a molecular mirror image that cannot be super imposed like one's left and right hands. They created the image of dozens of themselves (18:00) and paralyzed Sailor Moon and allies on an atomic level using electromagnetism. It seems like Esmeraude believed this power would ignore conventional durability as she believed it would blow away the Palace that the other members of the Black Moon Clan earlier that act thought was invincible without the Silver Crystal.

Potentially Information Analysis:

Not Standard Equipment per se though as Esmeraude can use the Black Crystal Earrings to return to Nemesis at any time she hypothetically has access to this. The Black Moon Clan uses scanning technology that can detect when someone travels through space-time.

Potentially UFOs:

The Black Moon Clan typically entered and exited the area of the past Earth via UFOs. They are very fast compared to the characters (1, 2) and also can make crop circles.

Potentially Communicator:

In the first ep of the Black Moon Clan Arc of Sailor Moon Crystal Rubeus and Demande communicate about the situation from across the solar system and across time as Rubeus is on Earth and Demande is on Nemesis. (21:47) Presumably this is via some sort of communication technology.

Beast Hands:

Aside from her advanced technology, Wiseman also gave Esmeraude one of the two techniques he used to recreate crime in Crystal Tokyo, the Beast Hands. This turns Esmereaude's hands and forearms into strangely colored globs. She can turn it off and on at will. (18:58) These hands can stretch multiple meters and each hand can divide into three hands at once. When Saphir got the Beast Hands, he was able to bind Late Second Arc Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars.

However the bigger threat of the Beast Hands is their ability to drain energy. The touch of them instantly destroyed Rubeus and were able to drain the energy of the Sailor Senshi, the Sailor Senshi previously resisting energy draining on numerous instances including Sailor Moon tanking being within Queen Metaria who drained the energy of entire planets

Mental Stats:

As one of the highest ranking members of the Black Moon Clan, Esmeraude by necessity must have a level of intelligence and skill, the Black Moon being a Clan that thrives on battle and was able to tag both Sailor Venus and Tuxedo Kamen at once, the two of them being two of the more agile and skillful characters on their side.

Weaknesses:

Esmeraude is vain and haughty. She carries herself with the air of a queen and mocks people she views as below her including Saphir and the Senshi.

Outside of this like a lot of the Black Moon Clan she relies on her equipment especially the Black Crystal Earrings for the majority of her abilities and can be reckless and a little insane as she's part of a genocidal religious cult. Also in Sailor Moon one can not be in the same time-space as another version of oneself or it causes one to lose their powers and start to disappear meaning time travel can't be used to duplicate oneself normally.

Personality:

The Black Crystal and its adherents represent different aspects of opposition to the Silver Crystal and the Sailor Senshi. War instead of Peace, Hedonism instead of Virtue, Death-Worship instead of Reverence for Life etc. In this paradigm, Esmeraude and her relationship with Demande represents the thematic opposition to Sailor Moon and her relationship to Tuxedo Kamen in the Second Arc.

In the Second Arc, Sailor Moon feels insecure about her relationship, jealous of Mamoru's attention. In contrast Esmeraude is completely confident in herself and so calmly devoted to Demande that she is perfectly willing to deliver the object of his affection to himself. It may seem that Esmeraude is actually more admirable in this paradigm. However this is setting up to tie into the greater theme of the arc: Personal Responsibility and Growth. Esmeraude is completely unquestioning of her Prince and serves him with the utmost faithfulness, but in never questioning him she neither forces him to take responsibility for his actions nor needs take responsibility for her own. While Usagi is insecure in her relationship at first it is her taking responsibility for that fact that allows her to grow as a person, and is linked with her being able to oppose Demande, telling him directly she is not to blame for his actions.

Esmeraude is sadistically playful, haughty, looks down on people she sees as lesser, and fully devoted to her Prince. Like the rest of the Black Moon Clan, she only understands the world as being one of conflict: of superior and inferior, of one side imposing its will on the other, without recognizing personal growth. Esmeraude may be beautiful, confident, and devoted, yet the woman Demande fell for looked at him with eyes of hatred, had a soul he wanted to possess, while Esmeraude only ever had a soul that was an extension of his own.

Anacondy:

In another dimension resides the powerful magical entity Boss. Boss felt a strange absence within him and sought to steal things of value to fill it. He preserved them eternally in his other dimensional art museum. He began the organization Eternal with numerous underlings to help find things of value to maintain.

One day Boss found himself in the Cure Rose Garden, a dimension of flowers tied to the life of each person caretaken by the magical entity Flora. Boss became enamored with Flora, with her garden, however Flora sensed his dangerous obsession and barred the way to that world for him.

Highest among Eternal was Anacondy, a gorgon-like woman of high power and intelligence who sought to be the one to fill Boss' emptiness. She saw the emptiness in Boss and worked as hard as she could as Administrator of Eternal to get things of value from different worlds, yet his heart was never satisfied with her, all he thought about was Cure Rose Garden, was Flora. Flora sent a message to Boss containing a single seed from the garden, a symbolic gesture that he could create such beauty himself instead of trying to steal it from others. However, Anacondy was unwilling to let this happen and attacked the messenger Syrup, stealing the latter and wiping Syrup's memories.

During their attempts to steal things from various dimensions, Eternal came across Pretty Cure 5, a team of Magical Girls who began thwarting their attempts and trying to stop them. Anacondy watched as her underlings were defeated, growing increasingly frustrated until she herself had to come out to face them. In the conflict, Anacondy's deception was finally revealed. Anacondy pled to Boss that she had served him tirelessly, gotten him great wonders from the worlds. Boss told Anacondy to Petrify the PreCure which she managed to finally do, defeating the enemies that had caused so much conflict but as Anacondy stood there tired and weak from her efforts to please him, Boss didn't even acknowledge preparing his wings to fly to Cure Rose Garden again. Angry that no matter what she could not get his love, Anacondy even attacked him desperately yelling she "would not let him go" but was destroyed.

Power:

Anacondy is Administrator of Eternal and should scale to the feats of the lesser members easily. This is convenient as the best direct feats of Yes 5 and Yes 5 Gogo come from a member of Eternal, that being Shibiretta. Shibiretta is a Witch who creates fairy tale dimensions. In her first appearance she created a dimension that has its own night sky and stars. She is explicit in that she created this dimension so she creates the rules there. (8:13) From a single vantage point on a planet, the number of stars that can be seen in the night sky is 2,000-2,500. Creation Feats are somewhat contentious in how they scale, especially starry sky type feats like this but assuming you think it applies to her attack potency at ALL, most people would say the feat is around 5 Foe (Large Star Level) at lower end to Universal at higher end (if you think the implication is its own entire universe) with Multi-Stellar Level being the most common interpretation. In Shibiretta's last episode she creates a dimension based on Arabian Nights. This dimension also clearly has a Starry Sky. (8:58) Shibiretta refers to it as "the never-ending story" (1:18) (4:40)(5:18) and claims that the Cures will roam there for all eternity (5:20) yet even after Shibiretta changes into her monster form, the Cures with effort were able to overpower her and cause the dimension to disappear. (19:55) As might be expected, Anacondy gets scaling to the Pretty Cure 5 from every member of the Eternal herself included fighting the Cures.

Scaling Cures in general is difficult as the Cures power level is heavily dependent on their emotional state, willpower, and friendship. For instance Milky Rose easily defeated Bunbee in her first appearance (19:05) yet struggled against him when her heart was in confusion. (12:20) When her conviction returned, she proved much stronger then him. (16:05) At many points in the Franchise, the Cures will be losing to an enemy sometimes badly, only to rise in power from a personal development and immediately defeat the same enemy. However they broadly get stronger over time with Cure Dream says she is not the same as the her of yesterday, of an hour ago, a minute ago, a second ago (42:15) before the Cures defeat Dark Cures meant to have their exact same power, getting so strong that they can easily bat away their attacks. This means Anacondy as someone who pushed the Cures to their limits at the time should get the chain scaling from how much the Yes Cures have improved. To get into the scaling chain: In original Yes 5, the movie villain Shadow creates 5 mirror dimensions and 5 dark copies of the Cures to fight them. These dimensions contain moons (33:45) (35:05) (36:13) and possibly even stars. (33:50) (34:30) Shadow is able to easily beat the Cures (57:47) yet after Dark Dream sacrifices herself for Cure Dream Rage Boosted Cure Dream beats down Shadow. (59:40) Hadenya as prior able to stop a punch easily from Cure Dream untransformed, yet later the Cures were able to destroy Black Mask Hadenya, the Black Mask able to make Girinima much weaker then Cures to as strong as two at once. After this Bloody was able to match the Cures with Kawarino being even stronger then him without transforming, yet the Cures were able to reach the power of Monster State Kawarino. This was all prior to Gogo, where they get a stronger power from the Red Rose Pact. These are the Cures that even the weakest fighters of Eternal like Scorp are able to fight all at once in Episode 4. (18:55) Milky Rose in Episode 11 manages to beat Scorp after he got much stronger in giant scorpion form. (17:40) However in the very next episode Nebatakos is able to easily block her strikes and outlast her. (17:15) By Episode 18 however Cure Lemonade is able to go back and forth with Nebatakos one on one after getting determined. (14:55) In Episode 24, Nebatakos turned into a giant stronger form with the Cures able without a few strikes from him. (8:48) In the next ep Anacondy replaces the fallen Nebatakos with two hunters she believes will beat the Cures that just beat him, that have a 100% success rate Yadoken and Isogen who she believes will quickly get the Rose Pact. (3:43) During their fight Yadoken and Isogen not only use Monster Forms but a combined Form that tanks the Cures attack and which the Cures can't even see them move. All of this is weaker then even the Hoshiina Anacondy summons in Episode 31 which Cure Aqua says is "unlike any enemy they had fought prior." (14:17) In other words the there are seven-ish gaps of power each of several times (likely 2-5x) each between Shadow and Anacondy.

Higher scaling is possible. In DokiDoki PreCure it is said that any girl with a powerful enough emotion to protect others can become a Pretty Cure and that power can rival even the universe's big bang (12:47) and there is some suggestion of relatively between the Cures between the Seasons most notably the All-Stars Series of Films that show them fighting alongside each other. While their power is somewhat dependent on their psychological state, if they are at relative that would be entail much higher scaling. In Star Twinkle PreCure Darknest destroyed the universe reducing it to nothingness so she could create her own universe (3:50) until the Cures overpowered her restoring the universe. (14:10) In DokiDoki PreCure Proto-Jikochu is implied to be able to destroy the universe and render himself completely alone (8:15) In Splash Star the villain Goyan predates the big bang and wanted to destroy the universe to return the silent darkness (4:30) yet after he destroys the universe, the Splash Star Cures overpower him with their ultimate attack he compares to the Big Bang which restores the universe. (10:20) The Strongest Cures are probably still the original Max Heart team. While they are stronger, if the Yes 5 Cures were even vaguely relative then they would easily scale to Dark King who in the Season 1 finale was threatening "all the worlds", causing space itself to crack apart. (20:25) The Cures would defeat him, then get much stronger over the next Season. Being even slightly relevant to Full Power End of Max Heart Cure Black and Cure White should easily scale them to End of Futari Wa Dark King.

Speed:

Numerous Cures have light-timing feats including the Fresh Cures (19:50), the Heartcatch Cures (16:52), and the Yes Cures themselves. (17:55) The Yes Cures feat was performed near the start of Yes 5 meaning they get stronger for 2 seasons from there, broadly associated with getting faster as well. The Cures as mentioned prior can fight Shibiretta whose power can create dimensions, expanding to the size of the dimension quickly. These dimension contain stars. Using just the average distance between stars at 5 light years if the planet was at the center and all the stars were average distance from it, it would mean Shibiretta's magic traveled at ~1,825c to do so in a day, or ~43,800c to do so in a day. This is likely a large lowball.

Much higher speed may again be implied from scaling to the other Cures. Various Pretty Cure enemies wanted to control EVERY dimension such as Moebius' drive to order all universes to eliminate all sadness. (18:52) Considering the size of the Pretty Cure Multiverse this may imply an extreme level of speed just to reach each one. Similarly The Dark Seeds were able to fly from the Dark Zone to the Garden of Rainbows (Earth) in a short time (14:35) and Dark King as he was literally dying shot out a blast that quickly hit the Garden of Light, a separate spacetime continuum, in seconds to wound The Queen of Light. (3:10) The Parallel Worlds in Pretty Cure like Dark Zone are different parallel dimensions. This is similar to feats like Darknest and the Star Twinkle Cures able to encompass the entire universe in seconds as mentioned above (3:50, 14:10) and scaling to spaceships that can also quickly traverse the universe.

Transformation:

Anacondy can change at will into her monster form. Monster form Anacondy was able to tank Blue Rose amped Milky Rose before one shotting her (10:08) This same powerup let Milky Rose prior defeat a Hoshiina, specifically Anacondy's that the other 5 Cures couldn't together. (20:15) She was also able to blitz Dream despite being highly exhausted from using her petrification technique four times in a row (18:25)

Teleportation:

Like the other members of Eternal, Anacondy can teleport, even between dimensions. She also seemingly teleported herself and Boss once. (20:35)

Energy Manipulation/Decomposition:

Anacondy several times demonstrates the ability to project her energy. Her energy can also cause objects to decompose. (21:39)(5:00

Elemental Manipulation/Weather Manipulation

Anacondy was able to produce fire (0:25) and trapped her desk with electrical charge. (6:55) She also showed the ability to create stormclouds. (7:48)

Binding:

Anacondy was able to bind Eternal Agent Mucardia to the ground such that he couldn't even teleport away. (17:55)

Telekinesis/Shockwave Projection

Anacondy seemingly has shown the ability to telekinetically move things (21:23) and can shoot telekinetic shockwaves from her hands (13:30)

Memory Manipulation:

As part of her backstory, Anacondy erased Syrup's memory of the message Flora gave to deliver to Boss. (15:10)

Hoshiina:

The agents of Eternal carry around Hoshiina Balls, little balls that attach to things and turn them into loyal monsters under the direction called Hoshiina. Anacondy's preferred Hoshiina is a lightning dragon made by combining the Hoshiina Ball with lightning. (12:55) Cure Aqua said that this Hoshiina is unlike any enemy they had fought prior. (14:17

Like all Hoshiina it copies the properties of the things it fused with or amplifies them, for instance the Lightning Hoshiina is particularly fast and has the elemental intangibility of lightning. Hoshiina Balls can also adjust the properties of the things it attaches to first, such as a Hoshiina balls freezing a lake it was thrown into to create an ice monster (11:20)

Shadow Serpents:

Anacondy has also shown the ability to create serpents made of shadow that are capable of equaling the Lightning Hoshiina. (11:13)

Potentially Information Analysis:

Anacondy has a camera that is capable of analyzing information about objects such as their authenticity and condition. (4:55) This isn't standard equipment in the sense that she carries around though she hypothetically can teleport back to her headquarters at any time if she wanted to get it, even during a battle.

Petrification:

Anacondy's most infamous ability, with which she uses to threaten her subordinates, Anacondy can turn someone to stone if at very close range. This is a particularly risky ability as it is highly draining and can threaten her life, yet she was able to petrify 5 Cures to stone in a row (17:30) Notably she can do this to inanimate objects as she turned a pen to stone. (3:50)

Resistances:

Anacondy regularly threatens the weaker members of Eternal if they fail and they are terrified of her. It's likely that she has some level of resistance to their abilities, the most notable of which is Scorp's energy-draining, where even just his presence caused the nearby plants to shrivel up. (8:00) If you think this includes Shibiretta who's general reality-warping gives her vast versatility, she may have a lot more resistances though this is more questionable as Shibiretta doesn't seem to be scared of Anacondy like the weaker members of Eternal are.

Mental Stats:

Anacondy as the Administrator of Eternal is known for her intelligence and calculating nature. She has numerous shown planning for the Cures such as when she analyzed Milky Rose's attack to learn how to beat it (15:50) and down talking Shibiretta's plans. (3:00) She is also able to outskill the Cures including Milky Rose, probably the most skilled member of the Yes 5 Team. This is impressive as all Cures are given a master tier combat skill just from transforming. Milky Rose along with Cure Rouge and Cure Lemonade contributed to super whack a mole with other Cures in All-Stars DX 3 (25:30) alongside the Heartcatch Cures Cure Sunshine and Cure Moonlight. Cure Sunshine and Cure Moonlight are both masters of combat who fought Baron Salamander in hand to hand, an entity with hundreds of years of experience (20:45)

Weaknesses:

Anacondy is hesitant to use her ultimate technique as it is highly straining and can risk her life. Also a lot of her haxes seem to require her to be at close range like her petrification, her matter decomposition, and her memory manipulation.

Beyond that, she is a perfectionist doing things like make Scorp redo his entire report for typos. Much like her love and superior, she also has a tendency to become obsessive over things she believes should be hers, even if they don't belong to her, as she felt she deserved Boss' love which led directly to him killing her.

Personality:

Eternal as an organization represents Greed and a desire to take that which is not yours. Each member of Eternal hypothetically represents different versions of this tendency. In this paradigm Anacondy represents seemingly the most virtuous and most admirable form of it. She is stoic, rational, and professional. She is ambitious and works hard to attain what she seeks, that being the heart of Boss, seeking out everything she can to impress them.

However in some ways, Anacondy represents the darkest aspect of Greed. Anacondy's form of greed is one that believes that the reward is earned by enough work, even if the reward was never one offered. She refused to let a message from the one Boss was fixated on reach him, lest he leave her own grasp. She even attacked me to try to keep him there. Anacondy's Greed is one mixed with Resentment, that she slaved away for him and so rightfully belongs to her.

Anacondy is rational, composed, perfectionist and full of vindictiveness for those that don't act how she feels they should. But it is treating people like machines that she led to her own demise. Like Boss, she too tried to steal the thing most sacred and not theirs, the emotions of others but where Boss tried to do it through force, Anacondy tried to do it through manipulation and deceit, representing that form of Greed that justifies itself on the basis of the work undergone to steal.

The "type type type" sound of her keyboard droned into Anacondy's mind. Another report, another treasure and it was always the same. Years of strain and toil droned into her soul the same way, becoming the slowest torture, monotony. Of course new things weren't necessarily good news. Her subordinates still failed to deal with those pesky "Pretty Cure." Even the legendary hunters Yadoken and Isogen had failed. The people around Eternal were getting less reliable what with that witch Shibiretta and...

Knock Knock Knock "Miss. Anacondy?"

Bunbee.

Anacondy looked up as Bunbee's face scrunched up in his characteristic nervousness these days looked into her.

"I presume you have come to apologize for the typos in your latest report?" Anacondy said with an icy glare, the snakes hissing lightly in her ear.

"T...Typ..." Bunbee's eyes grew wide but he quickly tried to change the topic to something that may cast him in a better light "I have actually come to report discovering a thing of great interest. There are reports of a strange ebon crystal appearing in Central Tokyo"

Anacondy rolled her eyes "Crystals exist in many worlds and in all varieties. What makes this one different."

"Well Miss Anacondy, they say this one has strange powers." Bunbee said halfway between apologetically and proudly at having discovered it, his hand going to his head.

Anacondy looked at him in surprise. If this was true it may indeed be a valuable addition to the collection. "That IS of interest."

Bunbee smiled and said "Yes! I will retrieve it at on..." but Anacondy raised her hand. She didn't trust him with this matter after his failures.

"Unfortunately, you will be rewriting this typo-ridden report. I will handle this myself"

Bunbee's shoulders slouched at the news but knowing not to argue replied "Yes Miss Anacondy" Anacondy smiled and teleported away.

Deep in the cold void of space, Demande's frustration burned hot. "You worry too much Saphir" he said, raising his hand dismissively. He resided on his throne with his inner circle gathered, discussing the news of the conquest of that world.

Saphir pressed his lips together annoyed at his brother's characteristic recklessness, never able to get used to how he never took precautions. It was so unfortunate the way the Ayakashi Sisters died, not only because they lost capable agents, but with their earrings dropping, the people of the past would gain awareness of the secret invasion.

"But brother if we don't retrieve the piece of the Black Crystal soon..."

"Do not presume to lecture me Saphir", Demande said, the third eye on his forehead opening and making Saphir angrily shrink back.

Rubeus by his Prince's side said with less anger then Demande but more derision "You forget your place Saphir. The Prince understands the risks but it is his decision what and when we will strike. We have bigger concerns with those Sailor Senshi"

Esmeraude giggled to the other side of the Prince and said "My Prince, allow me to silence these annoying cries. Send me to retrieve it, your most faithful Esmeraude"

Demande smiled, the loyalty of Rubeus and Esmeraude filling him with a sense of rightfulness in his purpose as his sat straight and let his third eye disappear. "Agreed Esmeraude, you will go to that world and retrieve the Black Crystal. Take one of the starships."

Esmeraude grinned, a soft blush coming to her, hidden in the darkness of Nemesis. "Thank you my Prince. I will not fail you."

Saphir looked at her and said "Be careful Esmeraude, that world is full of unknown quantities."

"What happened to this is urgent?" Mocked Esmeraude before giving a haughty laugh "Ohohohoho, I am not as weak as the sisters, I will not be defeated so easily" before teleporting away.

The Moon was high in the sky, but was obscured by clouds. Anacondy had wanted darkness to avoid unwanted contact with humans while she found the object in the report. A small fire burned above her hand as she knelt by the ground. There was some kind of show here prior as it was off the side of a stage of some sort with lots of chairs arrayed in front.

"Someone must have dropped it..." Anacondy thought, the idea making her a bit more cautious as it could mean they would return to retrieve it. In the light of the flame the pure blackness of the crystal appeared before her.

It was ethereal, laying in a small crater on the ground, the light making a shine on its surface. Anacondy reached down and tentatively picked it up. As she did so, she felt that the rumors were true, there was a tingling on her fingers as though it was trying to take from her that which she did not want to give.

"Unfortunately, I am proficient at that trick" Anacondy thought, amused.

Without warning a strange light reached her vision. She barely had enough time to notice and turn when the light went from just barely catching the corner of her eye to illuminating the area in an eerie and otherworldly light. As she turned she saw enter her vision a green hovering disc floating in the sky, glowing ominously from which emerged a strange woman Anacondy immediately noticing wearing two of the Earrings like the one Anacondy was holding. She hovered in the air, her magic power clear.

"So this must be her..." Anacondy thought.

As she left the starship feeling the strangeness of the cold night wind, vaguely wet against her skin Esmeraude grimaced at having to enter the alien world of the past. She knew if Saphir was here he'd be angry about her causing a scene by flying right into the city, but really it was just easier this way. The Prince was right, he worried too much.

Her feelings were only further justified when she saw someone had actually reached the earring and that if she had been moments later, it would be gone from this place. However while she initially mistook it for a human in a strange costume, she quickly noticed that this woman's ears were pointed  and she has an angry and malevolent aura about her, not fearful like a normal human would have. She had heard this time was filled with youma and yokai and spirits. She grimaced.

"The past has such strange creatures" Esmeraude thought to herself with the same disgust she might if she saw some gross bug. She hoped this thing would know how to communicate but even if conflict came, she was confident that the forces of the past were hopelessly outdated.

"Creature of this world." Esmeraude said confidently, looking down on Anacondy and speaking down to her a level of haughty superiority. "I am Esmeraude. What you have belongs to the Black Moon Clan. Return it and sink back to the shadows."

The thought of Boss made Anacondy grip the crystal tighter. This was for him, and nothing would dissuade her. "I am Anacondy and I am not of this world either. Apologies but this offer is unacceptable. Here's my counter-offer" Anacondy said "Return to your world, and you may you live." Anacondy wasn't sure yet if she really would allow this woman to live. She lacked the physical ugliness, but her mocking grin and contemptous eyes reminded her too much of Shibiretta.

Unbeknownst to her, a parallel thinking of Demande crossed Esmeraude's mind and the threat made no impression in comparison. She gave an exaggerated sight "I was trying to be nice..." Esmeraude said putting one hand on her hip "You think some loser freak with barely any curves is going to stop me? Then go ahead... try."

Fight!

Responding to the challenge with a quick hand motion, Anacondy raised one her hand and a shockwave erupted from it as an energy blast flew out hitting the surprised Esmeraude straight on, knocking her back.

A soft grin came to Anacondy lips only to suddenly shift and her eyes to widen as the dust clear and Esmeraude floated out, her clothing looking very slightly damaged but her expression more one of anger then pain.

This creature was more powerful then Esmeraude had expected. Esmeraude shifted her arms feeling the beast hands overtake them, the technique the Wiseman had taught her to deal with nuisances like this. He was creepy but his powers were sure handy. She reached out and her arms shot out as several tendrils whose multicolor yet dark forms looked even more threatening in the night.

Like serpents they approached Anacondy who dodged left then right expertly. She didn't know what this enemy's power did but she didn't want to find out. However, while the swings were not done with expertise, they were still fast and not uncoordinated. Anacondy quickly realized the threat and teleported away.

Esmeraude bit her lip annoyed. She said she would retrieve the crystal for Demande, but now she had no idea where it was. She looked angry and as though reacting to her anger, storm clouds began to fill the sky.

Unbeknownst to her, Anacondy had teleported atop a nearby roof and was raising her hands indeed summoning the clouds. She looked up at the clouds as she pulled out a Hoshiina ball. As it raised up in the all a bolt of lightning came from the sky fusing with the ball.

"Ho-SHII-na!" the Lightning Hoshiina said as its dragon head emerged, its lightning body swirling behind it.

Meanwhile in the distance Esmeraude's thoughts ran parallel as she angrily said "Chiral. Achiral." At her beckon the two Boule Brothers emerged, gripping each other and appearing like an inverted mirror image of each other.

"At your summons" they said in unison.'

"This new enemy is proving a headache, prepare for battle." Esmeraude said with a clap.

The Lightning Hoshiina's electric spark lit the dark space as it entered into the park area where the fight had taken place. Anacondy trailed it, trying to move stealthily in the dark, no longer concerned with trying to keep their mission hidden from the humans, but wanting to get the drop on this powerful enemy. Something felt odd though, as though they got here too early.

A flash of bright Green in the distance alerted Anacondy to her enemy. Her words were quiet and composed. "Hoshiina, that's her. Attack." with the Hoshiina signaling understanding with "Hoshiina!"

Esmeraude was hovering over the park, waiting for her enemy, waiting next to the woods to lure her into the trap. However a rawr to her side made her turn to side as she saw something she was not expecting, what appeared to be a dragonlike creature with a lightning like body charging towards her at extreme speed.

Esmeraude's eyes went wide as she instinctively teleported out into space. The void encompassed her as she looked down at the planet curiously, her chest pushed in and out from heavy breathing. What in God's name was that?

"No, I am Esmeraude of the Black Moon Clan, I will not be intimidated!" She said to herself as she teleported back.

The Hoshiina lunged at the green form only for her to disappear. "Hoshiina?" It said in confusing hovering the air. However but a moment later Esmeraude reappeared and launched a literally flying kick to the Hoshiina's midsection... only to be repulsed with a shock as she touched lightning. "HOSHINA!" It said excitedly twisting its body with serpentine flexibility as its mouth tried to clench down around Esmeraude.

On the ground, Anacondy had teleported in to observe the fight and to provide a decisive strike if needed. She saw Esmeraude teleport away and back in to flank the Hoshiina, only to be confused by its lightning nature. However so fixated was she on the battle she didn't notice as, like two flashes of light, two metallic fists from two sources crashed into out of nowhere.

Anacondy felt a sudden pain in her stomach as she was launched back into the woods, through a tree which snapped with a loud CRACK. However she adapted quickly and she saw the two forms of her opponents moving fast but now visible as two humanoid enemies. In midair she adjusted herself with a little spin as her feet caught their arms to block their strikes.

The Boule Brothers were surprised at this new turn around and were surprised further as Anacondy teleported in and crashed into both of them from behind, reversing their ambush, sending them crashing into the ground and several meters back, creating small rifts in the ground. But as she shot an energy blast, the two boule brothers suddenly seemed to shimmer and crackle with lightning, disappearing into dozens of grinning, mocking images all around her.

"Clearly illusions" Anacondy thought as she raised her hands to fire blasts of energy, only to feel a surge go through her and her arms stop moving then the rest of her body. She couldn't even teleport.

The Many Boule Brothers reduced to two "How lucky you are," Chiral said Achiral finished "for you get to die to the Boule Brothers and the highest grade chemical reactions." The two laughed.

Meanwhile in the sky Esmeraude switched back to the Beast Hands and tried to grab at the Dragon trying to bite down on her, though it once again seemed to just slip through her hands making her make an "Ahhhhh" sound of frustration. However the Hoshiina was not doing so well, feeling itself being slowly drained for reasons it didn't realize, its lightning tail diminished. And Esmeraude while angry didn't seem to be taking much damage the Hoshiina could tell. The din of distant battle in the nearby forest rang out to the Hoshiina and it decided to go and try and help there instead of facing this power it was not damaging. Like a bolt of lightning it shot from the sky towards the ground making a 90 degree angle turn from vertical to horizontal movement right above the ground.

Esmeraude in frustration saw the slowly dying foe flee and yelled "Hey! Don't run away!" before teleporting after it.

In the forest the Boule Brothers approached Anacondy. Esmeraude had told them not to induce the explosion until they had found the Black Crystal Earring on her. Their eyes flashed demonically as they eagerly approached her prone form, eager to search her for the Earring and blow her up. Their eyes met hers expecting to see fear...

Instead her eyes lit up and the Boule Brothers didn't even have a chance to realize what was happening as they were turned to stone. At this moment the Hoshiina swooped by her helpful, its electric charge messing with the electric field fixing Anacondy in place. As she was suddenly freed, she leapt and with one flying jump kick her kick crumbled the two statues.

Immediately the Entantiomer faded, returning the area to the large open Park field. Without the trees Esmeraude and Anacondy immediately regained sight of her, both looking in shock for a moment before hurrying to get into a battle position, Anacondy raising her arms into a defensive stance with her Hoshiina coiled into its own defensive position behind her, growing lowly. Meanwhile across the meadow Esmeraude floated into the air, turning her hands backs into Beast Hands.

Internally however Esmeraude was getting worried. She had killed Chiral and Achiral. That meant she was actually something of a threat. She teleported again making Anacondy scramble to find her new position. Esmeraude shimmed into space in the space above the administrator and the Hoshiina, before dropping a secret weapon, dropping one of hear earrings as an explosive.

Anacondy only saw it at the last moment, not sure what was happening but raising her hands and trying to telekinetically knock it away.

It was only a limited success as it knocked a half meter away before the Earring reached the ground, exploding in a large explosion that tore into the ground and making a loud  BOOM that launched the yelling Anacondy backwards and slamming into the ground.

Pain tore into Anacondy's body, as she yelled in shock. Hovering up, Esmeraude smiled and teleported down to the ground preparing to finish off her enemy however she herself was knocked back as the Hoshiina slammed into her.

Anacondy did a backwards roll onto her feet, her clothing torn, her body aching and dirt smeared, her breath labored. She couldn't win like this, she needed her full strength...

The Hoshiina caused Esmeraude to feel similar pain course through her as it bit at her voraciously, yet it only grew weaker and weaker until it gave one last "Hoshiinaaaaaa" before disappearing. Breathing deeply, Esmeraude touched the Black Crystal Earring adorning her, the symbol of her clan, giving a soft smile. But before she could celebrate one of her enemies being extinguished she saw something she didn't expect

Anacondy walked out, however she was clearly different. Her whole body and had shifted slightly, her hair-snakes more energetic, lightning crackling around her, a dark aura enveloping her. She was also more confident appearing.

Esmeraude stood confidently, her voice mocking, shifting to one side and making a sassy facial expression as she said "Heh, you think a little wardrobe change makes you any less of a lose..."

But she was caught up off as Anacondy darted towards her, moving as a blur, suddenly appearing before her, delivering a swift punch to Esmeraude's gut knocking her back with a sudden shockwave effect as Esmeraude felt her breath catch, thinking to herself "She's fast!"

Before Esmeraude could collect her Anacondy had teleported above her and did a spinning kick launching her to the ground with a loud smashing noise, the ground raising up to grip her. She tried to fly, to teleport, but the ground was strangely firm.

"I am sick of you and your stupid earrings." Anacondy's voice said suddenly emerging from the ether as she teleported in front of Esmeraude exerting her energy on Esmeraude's remaining earring.... however the dark energy manifested and seemed to go to the side of the earring which swung in place menacingly.

Anacondy recoiled slightly in surprise and Esmeraude whipped one of her beast hands extending the length as she did, hitting Anacondy with the back of it such that she was pushed along the length and thrown the maximum distance with the maximum force.

In midair she caught herself from having another painful impact and teleported back so she was once again near her enemy. Esmeraude saw her foe reappear, this time at a safer distance and pushed herself through the ground with the Beast Hands, the two hands acting like massive legs as they pushed her several meters so she could once again look down on her opponent. She rested her her head on a third Beast Hand, saying with derision.

"Oh? Why's that? Maybe that's your problem. You have no love for the Din of combat. That's what separates women..."

and suddenly Esmeraude was behind Anacondy. "From the little girls."

Reacting on instinct Anacondy did a spinning side-kick but Esmeraude teleported into the air again, laughing at her attempt.

"If you love battle so much, then come down and face me directly!" Anacondy yelled angrily.

"Ohohohohoho and why should I?" Esmeraude asked sarcastically launching her beast hands again which Anacondy expertly jumped over and ducked under.

"Because I have what you want." Anacondy said taking out the Earring "and I've seen what happens if it hits the ground." she said preparing to drop it to the ground and teleport away before it exploded

Esmeraude's mocking laugh turned to anger at this creature daring to try to hold the Earring hostage like that.

"Give Me That!" She demanded teleporting to the ground and reaching out for the Beast Hands with redoubled effort. In that moment Anacondy threw it at the ground near Esmeraude. Esmeraude's hands contracted easily to catch it though as she did a shock ran through her. The moment the booby trap activated and the lightning stunned Esmeraude Anacondy lunged, prepared to finish this enemy by turning her enemy to stone while she was distracted.

However the surge didn't last as long as Anacondy was expecting and the beast hands began reaching out madly for Anacondy. As she came to awareness, Esmeraude realized she had what she came for and quickly teleported away.

Worried about an ambush Anacondy herself teleported back to Eternal Museum. She lost the mission objective, yet if her enemy was as she seemed Anacondy knew the fight wasn't over.

She rushed past the hallway, pushing the door to her office and angrily opening her drawer. Taking out the camera, she turned on its light aimed at her own hands, analyzing the bits of dust left over from the Earring earlier.

As the specs came out, she laid back in her chair, her eyes widening, catching her breath. She closed her eyes briefly, fear creeping along her spine at the level of power and dangerousness her analysis has gotten. Should she be doing this?

The image of Boss came to mind and she opened her drawing taking out a half dozen Hoshiina balls...

On Nemesis, Esmeraude moved quickly through the dark halls, clinging to the sides. She had retrieved the Earring but she didn't feel like talking to that cloying Saphir or self-righteous Rubeus who would comment on her damaged state.

What she needed was a long bath, a long bath and maybe to spend some time with the Prince. But that freak... Esmeraude pressed her lips together in annoyance. How dare she? Injure her? Insult her? She made her way to the central chamber where the surveillance orb sat. No one else was in there and she walked up to it, almost willing it to show something.

As if by force of her will, a movement in spacetime, a substantial shift in energy lit up in the past world. Esmeraude somehow knew it was that woman. Without even thinking she was hurrying down the corridor to her starship, putting the recovered earring onto her naked ear...

Anacondy shimmered into existence in the forest next to the city just as the Sun was beginning to break over the Horizon, lightning the early morning forest in a crimson hue of coming battle. Taking out a handful of Hoshiina Balls, she threw them into the area causing five different Hoshiina to emerge.

"Hoshiina!"

A variety of element Hoshiina emerged, one large and tanky boulder themed one, one shifty and shifting stream themed one, etc. all creaking along. Anacondy smiled at her forces and moved from the forest into the nearby city.

Pandemonium erupted over the Morning Tokyo Streets as Monsters rampaged along, scaring away nearby people. In the center of them was their leader who kept watchful eye. She wanted to make it as easy as possible that Esmeraude would be able to find her. She just hoped that those annoying Pretty Cure didn't get involved.

Watching the chaos from a distant block, sipping a tea while everyone else ran away Esmeraude's thoughts ran parallel to Anacondy's hoping those pesky Sailor Senshi didn't get involved. She raised one hand to her ear as she said "Yes, those monsters, engage..."

The Boulder Monster cornered a scared and shivering little girl growling menacingly "Ho-SHI-naaaa" however at the last moment the little girl's expression changed to one of mocking-ness, and with hollow eyes as she leapt into the air and grabbed the arm of the Hoshiina.

"Hoshiina?" It said in confusion as the droid disguised as a human child threw the Boulder Hoshiina across the city block.

"Woah!" Anacondy said in shock as the Boulder Hoshiina went flying. Yells of confusion rang out as various nearby normal Japanese civilians moved like blurs and superleapt up to the Hoshiina. They attacked in a swarm that the Hoshiina difficult comprehending.

"What's going on?!"

Anacondy yelled out orders to the Hoshiina to group up which they did to the best of their efforts, managing to push back the Droids relentless assault. From a nearby alley, Esmeraude watched with amusement as Anacondy and her forces desperately fended off the relentless assault taking sadistic glee. However the Droids were having trouble hurting the watery one which sucked them up like Berthier used to. Esmeraude's hands turned to fists that they were still causing trouble. A shimmer and Esmeraude was gone, up into the sky,...

Anacondy could feel the tide slowly turn and come into turn as the Lightning and Watery Hoshiina began sweeping up to the Droids until suddenly a familiar light hit the edge of her eyes but before she could react the feeling of meeting dug into the skin and the world seemed to rush away.

A huge crashing impact force and sound rang through the air as Anacondy realized her enemy had rammed her with the UFO, slamming her through a building. Anacondy painfully teleported atop a nearby building.

The UFO hovered in air as Esmeraude tried to find Anacondy's location but Anacondy teleported again, keeping her from getting a clear visual, teleporting from rooftop to top shifting like a racing shadow in the eerie green light emanating from the UFO over the Tokyo rooftops.

Teleporting into a lunge, Anacondy grabbed the UFO hull and waved her hand around it, causing the metal surface to melt away with dark energy over a small section of the sphere. Anacondy grabbed the edge and pulled her in, dropping with a dramatic thud.

Inside the UFO, it was chaos, as the starship began hurtling from the damage to the hull. Esmeraude heard her enemy enter and with an angry yell and eyes full of bloodlust turned throwing a Black Crystal Earring willing to blow up this UFO and much more to destroy her entirely.

"I've already seen through that attack!" Anacondy said and threw her last Hoshiina Ball at the Earring.

Esmeraude's shocked face was illuminated by the green making it look a pale white clashing against the darkness, exaggerated her features.

"Damned Fool!" Esmeraude yelled in horror "You've doomed this world!" before teleporting away. Anacondy wasn't sure what that meant but teleported out of the starship not just because it was going down but because of the strange reaction happening with the Hoshiina.

The Black Crystal grew and grew until it formed a tower in midair ripping the UFO apart. As it reached the ground a light erupted in front of Anacondy's vision as time and space seemed to warp and break and she passed out.

When she came to, it was like she has been transported or the shockwave had launched her, though the Tower Hoshiina still hovered over her, a dark aura coming from it. The ground was brown and desiccated. Anacondy looked around and say nothing but devastation, a level of destruction she had only ever seen come from Boss in his full fury. Her breath caught. The shock began to catch up to her as how much this had gotten away from her began to make her tremble.

But she didn't have to consider it. In the distance she saw incoming multicolored lights, twice as many as she was used to. Gripping to the Tower she said "Hoshina, transport me to wherever it is she went."

"Hooooosshhhiiiinnnaaaa", unlike the normal deep and steady voice of most Hoshiina, this voice was creaky, like an old man's, yet also with a deep sinister-ness Anacondy had scarcely ever heard. Her skin crawled as the deep forces she had gotten entangled with began to catch up to her.

However it still obeyed her and the two moved in a way Anacondy had never experienced, transcending time and space as they traveled far far into the void, far far into the temporal continuum, far afield into distant dimensions, into a dark void as fiery as Hell and distant as the black stars.

When Anacondy appeared on she found herself not so much emerging into a new dimension but transported into a nightmare. The first thing that hit was the immense physical pressure like a bone-crunching wall above her pushing down on her. Second was the absence. Oxygen...Oxygen...

Anacondy thought she heard the laugh of Esmeraude, see her distinctive green, see the evil hands reaching out for her and she couldn't teleport...couldn't think.... couldn't move....

and then just like that it was over. The Hoshiina teleported her back to protect her, looming over her like a very creepy savior. Anacondy fell to all fours, taking in deep breath after deep breath, unable to believe what she had seen, laying on the broken ground, hoping to not be found.

Unfortunately, no such luck.

"So...how was the future?" Esmeraude said, strutting up with a sadistic knowing smile, her gaze still mocking, still superior, still coy, yet also having a touch of madness in her eyes.

"Fu...future?" Anacondy got it in shock.

"You've just seen a glimpse of reality Anacondy. True Reality is War and Death, that is the purpose for which we are born, to clash and war and reveal true reality." Esmeraude said, her eyes glimmering with mad cultish ecstasy. "I will give you a taste of that reality." Esmeraude's mind briefly flashed to Demande, her prince, the embodiment of that reality. Esmeraude's Beast Hands reached out to the broken Anacondy laying on the ground.

Anacondy could barely move but summoned shadowy serpents which hissed defensively and lunged at Esmeraude who roared with anger. She tried to bat at them with the Beast Hands but they just went right them as they began to tear at her.

The serpents ripped and tore at her not doing much damage with each bit but swarming. Esmeraude yelled with anger and glared as Anacondy with enraged demonic looking eyes. Esmeraude teleported behind Anacondy at the same moment Anacondy teleported behind Esmeraude, the two swapping positions. Anacondy rose again, breathing heavily, Esmeraude's Beast Hands contracting again into claws and Anacondy's hands crackling with lightning.

However, as Esmeraude darted forward to grab Anacondy, expanding the Beast Hands towards her, Anacondy surprised her by leaping upwards and in midair pointing her finger at Esmeraude

"I will take that reality from you."

and suddenly like a flash Esmeraude gripped her head. The image of Demande lingered in her mind but the surrounding events around him were fuzzy. Her arms were extended and some strange creature was above her. She vaguely thought they were fighting but as she brought her arms up to grab her, the creature teleported in front of her.

Anacondy's eyes flared and her snakes hissed and Esmeraude turned to stone.

As the day had finally had broken, Anacondy laid on the ground breathing deeply from the heavy exertion and telekinetically bringing the Black Crystal Earring to her hand. This was going to be a LONG report.

KO!

Determining power for this one was a bit more layered then usual as both characters have layers between them and the relevant feats however it's either Esmeraude is a little stronger or Anacondy is WAY stronger. If you're taking the most lowballed version of both, then they would actually be relatively similar. Esmeraude scales much above Saphir who could withstand Nemesis, the black hole, which would have a mass ~800-4,300 that of the Sun. If one were to multiple the GBE of the Sun at 2.3e41 Joules by that, you would get roughly 2e44-1e45, or 2-10 Foe/supernova worth of energy, consistent with being above Princess Serenity who tanked power comparable to a supernova. Saphir was weaker then Droids who the Guardian Senshi could destroy in groups of several at once. They were matched by the Ayakashi Sisters save the leader Venus who withstood an attack from four at once, who's attack didn't do visible damage to Esmeraude. That said Esmeraude is two layers where each layer is 4-5 times stronger then 2-10 Foe, meaning she is likely somewhere in the Mid to High Foe Range. Conversely Base Shibiretta created a dimension with stars in it. Using just the GBE of the Stars for Creation one would get 5 Foe or so. Yadoken and Isogen are able to tank the Cures attacks before combining, and then Anacondy's Hoshiina is said to be unlike any prior enemy, with Base Anacondy being stronger by a little then her Hoshiina, and then her Monster Form increasing her power by a wide margin. She would very likely be in the mid Foe range though it's more vague then Esmeraude's scaling so I'd say that Lowballed both Esmeraude would probably be a little stronger. That said most people, and with fair reason, say that creating a dimension is a lot more impressive then just creating the things in it. Creating the space containing thousands of stars is likely more in the dwarf galaxy range and would make Anacondy much stronger then Esmeraude.

However both series have a first arc that has a more questionable dimension feat prior with Jadeite's dimension and Shadow's dimension. Assuming you take both of these as multi-stellar dimensions then it's really just a matter of who scales higher above theirs. Anacondy has a lot of layers of the Cures growing several times stronger from the point of Shadow

Shadow to Black Mask Hadenya

Black Mask Hadenya to Kawarino

Kawarino to Scorp

Scorp to Nebatakos

Nebatakos to Yadoken and Isogen

Yadoken and Isogen to Anacondy's Hoshiina

Anacondy's Hoshiina to Anacondy

There aren't explicit multipliers but most of these would likely be a multiplier from between 2 to 5 times. With Seven Layers this means Anacondy is likely 2^7 to 5^7 or 128 to 78,125 times stronger then Shadow's feat. That they are at least thousands of times stronger is more consistent with the degree of speed boost they got.

For Esmeraude the biggest gap is between Start of Series Sailor Moon who used all her power to restore the energy of Tokyo, to restoring the energy of the Earth with the first appearance of the Silver Crystal. The Population of Tokyo in 1992 was 32.2 Million while the Population of Earth was 5.477 Billion, about 170 times greater. Going by size, Tokyo has a diameter of roughly 90 Kilometers, while the Earth has a Diameter around 140 times greater. If you use inverse square law to say the energy at source should be squared instead, it would be 140^2=19,600. This Princess Serenity that tanked this is equal to or weaker the Second Civilian Arc Usagi who was weaker but not massively weaker to Saphir and we get the same several multiplies above would be maybe 20 times. 20 * 140-170 would give 2,800-3,400, which is well within Anacondy's potential multipliers, on the lower side. 20 * ~19,600 is ~392,000 which is several times higher then Anacondy's high end. So lower or higher end, if you use the Jadeite and Shadow feats, then Esmeraude is probably several times Anacondy but not so much that the gap is insurmountable.

All this doesn't take into account Anacondy may very well scale to Universal or Low Multiversal based on not unreasonable scaling through the Pretty Cure crossovers. Getting Esmeraude to Uni or higher requires either assuming all dimensions with starry skies as universes by default at which point it's just a higher version of the above Jadeite vs Shadow dimension feats or use of dimensional tiering, which I don't use. So either Esmeraude is stronger then Anacondy but not insurmountably, or Anacondy is much stronger.

For speed the two characters are in a fairly similar range. Esmeraude scales to Tuxedo Kamen in speed who at this point could blitz attacks that would scale above characters who are High FTL to Thousands of times the speed of light, and is likely Mid to High Thousands of Times FTL. Anacondy in contrast scales several layers of several times each above Base Shibiretta whose magic highly lowballed moved Low to Mid Thousands of Times FTL, meaning she should also be in that Mid to High Thousands of Times FTL. I do think Anacondy is probably a little bit faster as the speed feat for PreCure is definitely more lowballed. If you highball both, then you get a similar scenario. Black Lady takes Demande and Saphir to Wiseman's domain beyond spacetime in seconds and Dark King hitting the Light of Queen in another spacetime continuum in seconds are fairly comparable speed feats to me, but one was done by a character stronger then Esmeraude that she probably downscales from, while the other was done by the dying final boss of Futari Wa Season 1 before the Max Heart Cures got way stronger and faster. So once again, similar range but Anacondy should be at least a bit faster.

So going just by physical stats either Esmeraude is a little bit stronger and Anacondy is a little bit faster, or Anacondy is much stronger and a little bit faster.

Going through their individual assets, Esmeraude doesn't actually have that many offensive options. Outside of her summons she has 3 potential win-cons. Going through them individually:

1: Teleporting Anacondy into space. While other members of Eternal have shown Self-Sustenance, Anacondy herself hasn't. That said Esmeraude has never shown the ability to teleport other people with her, it would presumably require getting into close range, and Esmeraude has no knowledge that Anacondy can't breath in space as everyone in Sailor Moon with even the slightest bit of magic can. Also even a normal human can technically survive a few seconds in space which given Anacondy's own teleportation means this is likely not a viable win con.

2: Black Crystal Earring Explosion. This is also not a good option. It'd probably damage Anacondy, especially in her base form. Explosions are broadly a good way to hit someone more skilled then you as they are omnidirectional. With that said the Black Crystal Earring Explosions were avoided by Second Arc Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon who (for Sailor Moon because she was weakened at the time) would have been weaker then Anacondy at the time. Beyond that Anacondy has numerous ways of countering it if she suspects such as using her energy manipulation to decompose the Crystal or telekinetically knocking it away. Also using this costs Esmeraude one of her Black Crystal Earrings, so overall just a bad idea.

3: Beast Hands: Easily the best option Esmeraude has, and fortunately for her the one she's most likely to use. Anacondy probably has low level energy draining resistance scaling from Scorp, which would likely let her resist the passive energy draining of the Black Crystal Earring. However the Beast Hands which can energy drain Sailor Senshi is another story entirely. It instantly killed Rubeus and so it's unlikely Anacondy could withstand more then a moment of being grabbed by them even if she does technically have better stamina feats then Rubeus. However with Anacondy's much higher skill, teleportation, and arguably slightly higher speed, it will be at least a little bit tricky getting hold of her.

Anacondy has a lot more options but a lot of them have problems too. Petrifying Esmeraude, using Decomposition on her or at least the Black Crystal Earrings, telekinetically knocking away the Earrings, or erasing Esmeraude's memories or all great in theory but outside of the Black Crystal Earrings slightly obscuring Esmeraude's position by passive space-time warping, they all have a small problem in that all are close range abilities. This is problematic when Esmeraude naturally fights from above using her Levitation and at the equivalent of mid-range with her Beast Hands. Anacondy could try and teleport into close range, though this is a reckless strategy she'd only do if she had no other option.

Her fire manipulation and lightning manipulation have never shown that high potency per se and it's unknown if they would be effective weapons at all here. Her binding which can stop teleportation was able to work on Mucardia so it might provide at least a little resistance to Esmeraude and pause her for a second, though Esmeraude should be able to escape.

What Anacondy can do is shoot energy blasts and create shockwaves. This was potent enough to affect Milky Rose which means it should be able to at least somewhat wear down Esmeraude from mid to long range if Esmeraude is only several times stronger then Anacondy, and would one-shot if Anacondy is much stronger.

So from here assuming Esmeraude is stronger it seems fairly even. Anacondy can hit Esmeraude from mid to long range more easily but her attacks would only damage her. Meanwhile Esmeraude would struggle to hit Anacondy but if she does grab her with the Beast Hands, it would kill her. Both also have teleportation and a form of Information Analysis that honestly is very iffy to give them and wouldn't affect the fight that much. Anacondy does have the advantage of greater mental stats, but there's also two more important factors.

The First of these is Summons. Esmeraude can definitely summon two minions in Chiral and Achiral. Anacondy can definitely summon 1 Hoshiina and a bunch of shadow serpents that together are about equal to the Hoshiina meaning she can summon her own equivalent of two minions. Both also have possible access to a large but unspecified amount of lesser minions.

Chiral and Achiral provide a new win condition to Esmeraude as they have a very potent offense in their matter manipulation which can actually paralyze Anacondy if they trap her in their electric trap and induce a "highest-grade" chemical reaction explosion. However they don't have any defensive abilities other then making it appear like there's many of them with their ability. Anacondy does have ways to escape their trap if she has prior warning using electricity manipulation to mess up their charge or dropping a Hoshiiina Ball to mess the properties of the Enantiomer, and even if paralyzed if Chiral/Achiral get too close she can still petrify them as she has petrified two enemies at once when fighting the Cures and has paralyzed inanimate objected before.

Anacondy's minions are the opposite in that they have a powerful defense in their elemental intangibility but no particular offense. As such they can attack Esmeraude and do a little bit of damage but the real threat is she can't kill them. With the Electricity Hoshiina which is primarily comprised of Electrical Energy, the Black Crystal Earring will at least eventually absorb it, basically fading it into oblivion. But the shadow snakes are made of darkness. Esmeraude genuinely has no way of hurting them.

So while that sounds fairly balanced, if the Minions fought each other, trying to help their Master against each other, the problem becomes clear. The Lightning Hoshiina is known for its speed and would probably beat down the Boule Brothers without them being able to trap it their Enantiomer. Even if they do its charge might throw off their paralysis, though they should be able to kill it via an explosion anyway. The Shadow Serpents they genuinely have no way of hitting unless the light of an explosion works. If Anacondy summons the Shadow Serpents, then Esmeraude and the Boule Brothers may have no actual answer other then just killing Anacondy quickly or escaping that battlefield.

This effect gets bigger if you include more minions. The Droids are probably smarter then Anacondy's minions but the Hoshiina Balls allows her to create minions with similar power level to the Droids but with actual various themed powers or even alter the properties of objects to create monsters more suited. And while Esmeraude's minions are set: there's only a certain number of droids, and only two Boule Brothers, Anacondy can literally make more at any time with the serpents at least.

However there's one more notable point. One of the most immediately striking thing about this fight is that both characters have very powerful teleportation but neither of them normally have any sensory abilities. In fact BOTH have been caught unaware by very basic stealth before.

This means that at any point both will have to account for the fact that their enemy could in the next moment be anywhere, on either flank, behind them, etc. with the only saving grace being that they can do the same. Between them Anacondy has notably higher mental stats having better intelligence showings and much better combat skill showings, which I would presume would at least somewhat help her adjust to this strange combat. However the primary skill this would involve is reading one's opponent, in figuring out what your opponent is going to do to pre-emptively counter it. Much like a real fight or a real high level real-time game between two people, it's not really about reaction time but about reading what they will do and acting to counter that. A single good read that leaves the other open could end this fight immediately if Esmeraude grabs Anacondy with the Beast Hands if she tries to teleport at a bad time, or if Anacondy catches Esmeraude with Petrification if she tries to teleport at a bad time.

Neither Esmeraude nor Anacondy are particularly good at reading people. However Anacondy is fairly hard to guess what she will do in general. Her moveset is wide and she has a generally composed and calm disposition. Esmeraude is a drama queen, an over the top personality who is prone to making dramatic declarations and mocking her opponent. What it really comes down to is patience. Esmeraude is a follower of Demande and the Black Moon Clan, a group of reckless warmongers who live in the moment as part of their ethos that the flesh is meant to die and that truth is revealed in conflict. Meanwhile Anacondy is... an Administrator. She is a planner who has tirelessly sought approval from Boss time after time without ever showing her true intentions. In a fight where your opponent reading your move once could be the end, Anacondy would have a masterful poker face in comparison to Esmeraude, and is far more likely to read Esmeraude's actions then the other way around.

This was a close fight but Anacondy's more versatile powers and army, better skill and intelligence, and better patience and composure would let her edge out Esmeraude.

The Winner is...   Anacondy

Thanks to my Friend ThorGundersen1058 for making the TN at the top and I hope he has an amazing birthday!

How they compare: Mandrake (High Guardian Spice)

Mandrake is an assassin in High Guardian Spice working under the shadowy group known as the Triumvirate and is the superior to Olive, the catgirl spy who was the primary antagonist for most of High Guardian Spice. He only shows up for a single episode, that being the last one, but he has some of the best feats in the series with a lot of the scaling revolving around him. While he doesn't have a lot of screentime, and most personal information about him is unknown, he has a large impact on the series, particularly from the powerscaling perspective.

In terms of power, Mandrake created a forcefield around High Guardian Academy without even using a Terrasphere, this level of power consistent with other feats Mages are purported to have done such as conjuring a castle out of sausages.  Mandrake takes a combination old/new magic blast from Caraway one of the strongest mages in the series and just gets up and runs off. He was only defeated after Olive betrayed and stabbed him his own knife, he got smashed by Parsley with her hammer and super strength, Thyme shot him with possibly magic arrows and then got hit by ANOTHER old/new magic combo blast from Sage. And he still escaped! This is genuinely one of the highest physical showings of any character in the series.

The same quote as above also says mages have flown around the world which would likely require supersonic speeds consistent with Sage making a magical sonic boom with her flight which should scale to Mandrake's flight speeds. Even without flying Mandrake has dodged close range arrows from Thyme. It's possible their reaction speeds are much higher as they conjure magical lightning type abilities and Sage was able to catch a ball of light, though whether these actually move at lightning or light speed is unclear. Mandrake should have some of the better speed scaling in the series as he was able to easily avoid the girls attack on the ground until taken off guard and while flying was able to dodge around Sage and Olive's attacks.

(Mandrake in disguise)

Magic in High Guardian Spice is divided into two types: old magic and new magic. Old Magic is harder but while Mandrake can clearly use both almost all of his feats are done through old magic basically just to flex. Old Magic involves drawing magic from nature and channeling it through your body and typically requires motion or drawing circles or runes or things to that effect. It is more time consuming to use and much harder to learn though almost all Mandrake's feats are done with old magic it seems.

With Old Mage Mandrake created a barrier around High Guardian Academy, with barriers in High Guardian Spice also having attack reflection. He attacked by creating numerous flaming sword type projectiles which he could fire a half dozen at a time or create a single one as large as a bookcase. He was also able to conjure a magical lightning like effect, was able to conjure fire and conjured a magic lock. However his most used ability by far is using his magic to disguise himself as other people. He does this for deception and manipulation purposes, such as when he transformed into Lavender during his fight with Rosemary, Lavender's daughter to mess with her. This effect can also transform his voice to match theirs if he wants. It's likely he knows more forms of Old Magic that simply were never seen.

Mandrake also has two Terraspheres on his person which allow him to use New Magic. New Magic is far more powerful "multiplying" one's power, is easy to use, and allows the user to do "whatever you want" and "anything." It broadly should give Mandrake to almost every spell seen in the series as it really is basically implied to be a do anything kind of magic. The downsides are that you rely on your Terrasphere to use it which can be stolen or run out of power.

Obviously as you might imagine, this lets Mandrake scale to a large number of abilities. Talking about some of the more potent abilities in the verse offensively Mandrake would have access to various forms of elemental manipulation and the ability to shoot lasers that causes explosions. He should be able to replicate Amaryllis feats of removing the memories from people or transmuting people into lizards, and should be able to replicate Sage's feat of putting people to sleep with her magic. Outside of these he would scale to telekinesis strong enough to move dozens of books or to levitate himself, summoning potent enough to conjure entire castles made of sausages, and illusions. He'd also have spatial manipulation capable of creating a portal or teleporting small objects remotely.

Someone who is skillful in both old and new magic can actually combine them for an affect that's far more potent, with Carroway saying that a foundation in old magic can allow one to bring out the potential in new magic. As Mandrake is highly skilled in both he may be able to do this, though it's unclear.

Outside his Terraspheres, Mandrake also carries his broomstick which he uses to fly along with his sword which he uses as a conduit to cast old magic with. He is also clearly an expert in using it as a blade using it for melee and to deflect blows. Mandrake is an expert assassin, mage, swordsman, and manipulator, deceiving the girls numerous times and chosen by the Triumvirate who are clearly very powerful on at least a regional scale to be their assassin.

In terms of weaknesses, Mandrake is a very sadistic edgy type of villain who clearly enjoys playing around with his targets too much, his underestimating them being part of his defeat. Also and more wholesomely, he's weird trusting of his subordinates. All episode long Olive clearly doesn't want to actually kill people but when she tells him she changed her mind he lets her take his knife to do the killing blow before she stabs him instead.

Also like all Mages in the High Guardian Spice verse, the two forms of magic both have their own weaknesses, Old Magic taking mastery and usually a bit of time to use, New Magic relying on a Terrasphere though Mandrake has somewhat mitigated this being a triple master of melee combat, old magic, and new magic.

Name: Mandrake
Origin: High Guardian Spice
Powers and Abilities: Expert Assassin and Swordsman, Flight (With His Broomstick), With Old Magic: Can disguise himself as whoever he wants, Barrier Creation/Attack Reflection, Flaming Sword Blasts, Magic Lightning Blasts, Fire Creation, Magical Lock, Flight, With New Magic: Likely Most Magic seen in the series including Elemental Manipulation (Light, Fire, Water, Wind, Plants), Energy Projection/Explosion Creation, Memory Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation, Transmutation, Summoning, Illusion Creation, Telekinesis, and Portal Creation along with others not massively important in combat
Weaknesses: Sadistic and Overconfident, Old Magic requires things like hand motions or rituals, New Magic relies on Terraspheres
Attack Potency: Large Building Level (Created a barrier around High Guardian Academy without even using his Terraspheres)
Range: At least hundreds of meters
Speed: Subsonic Movement Speed normally, Supersonic Flight/Reaction Speeds, possibly much higher Reaction Speeds
Durability: Large Building Level (Withstood numerous attacks on his own level and still escaped)
Stamina: Unknown but presumably High Human, was stabbed, shot through the knee, and hit by a hammer and numerous magic blasts and was still able to act without much hinderance
Intelligence: Expert Assassin, Swordsman, Mage, and Manipulator

So how would Mandrake do if he was to try to assassinate in other fictional universes

High Guardian Spice is a Medieval Fantasy type series so how would Mandrake do in the originator of the genre, the Arthurian Legends

In terms of stats he'd be roughly around the level of the Mid Tier Arthurian Knights scaling from Sir Kay's feat of growing as large as the tallest tree in the forest and producing enough energy passively to keep himself and the people near him warm and dry, which would be a feat in a similar league to Mandrake's and while Mandrake's was done without his Terrasphere, this was done by Kay just standing there. They also scale to the pig Twrch Trwyth who devastated a third of Ireland in one night which would be a higher speed feat then Mandrake's. That said Mandrake's stats are not far lower then theirs and he has a bunch of magical abilities that make him way more versatile then Most Mid Tier Knights. Even just Mandrake's Old Magic would make him quite versatile for an Arthurian Legend Mid Tier, let alone what his Terrasphere grants him. Especially his Disguise Magic of which is treated as very difficult to fight in the Arthurian Legends. That said multiple of them together could possibly beat, similar to High Guardian Spice, and a High Tier like Arthur, Lancelot, or Gawain would defeat him cleanly with much higher stats and similar levels of hax.

Against other Mages in the setting he would not have the power of the high tiers who can do things like set fire to all of Britain though he is much faster. Broadly it depends how much he messes around as if he can find a hax that can defeat them before they can react, he can defeat most Mages in the Arthurian Legends but if he lets them start casting, they can use abilities that would instantly win. He really would fit the role of a Mid Tier Warrior and Mid Tier Mage put together.

Magic Knight Rayearth is another more feminine High Fantasy type series. Also there's a mech in HGS at one point so that fits. In MKR Mandrake would be roughly around the level of the Magic Knights for most of the First Arc/Season and Zagato's minions. Once again they have feats that are calced higher then Mandrake's but with more effort those being Ascot's high speed flight forming a mach cone, and Lafarga vaporizing a section of the ground with his sword swing.

In terms of how Mandrake would do, he would do alright as basically another villain in the same vein as Zagato's minions. he has a much wider arsenal then most people in his tier, or the verse in general has, and he seems to have at least a decent amount of willpower given his endurance which is important since things in Cephiro are determined by one's will.  That said he has larger personality weaknesses then anyone in the tier. He would be closest to Caldina in role, another of Zagato's minions who had a very strong hax ability but didn't immediately end them as her will was weaker and her personality was less immediately lethal. As for how he'd do against the Magic Knights it depends how much information he had and how he plays it though I suspect Fuu at least would be able to figure him out just as she did Caldina.

You could put Mandrake, a western styled magical assassin into the equivalent from Japan, a Ninja Series and easily one of the most famous is Naruto. So how would Mandrake do in Naruto? In terms of stats Mandrake does get eclipsed by Naruto's increasing Shonen powerscaling fairly quickly though with his Terrasphere he should be in the same general tier of Sasuke's fireball jutsu early in the series that vaporized a section of the ground, Sasuke being a particularly powerful Genin. Sasuke was also able to avoid sound waves from Dosu, outpacing them outright with his Curse Mark. Mandrake would have roughly mid tier power and upper tier speed for a Genin Tier Shinobi.

In terms of just direct trickery Mandrake would actually probably struggle. While he's very intelligent in the context of his universe, Naruto is infamous for everyone using masterful many step plans they come up with mid battle and beings master of espionage and deception with things like disguising yourself as someone else via the Doppleganger technique being a very common and low level technique. On the other hand he would have a decent arsenal even just with his Old Magic and his hand motions are not inhibiting in a world where people use their abilities primarily through their own hand gestures. His Terraspheres and the versatility they give would be a huge asset fighting against someone in the Genin Tier, though a team of Genin similar to High Guardian Spice could still potentially pose a threat especially if they disguise themselves as teammates of him given how trusting he is towards teammates.

High Guardian Spice is known for being mostly very G rated and wholesome but to suddenly veer into things like swearing or brutality, so what about putting it against a verse that has the same dichotomy and is also a Fantasy Verse popular with the same target demographic as HGS? Undertale's stats are fairly contested due to its more abstract nature but by most estimates Mandrake would be either on the level of a strong monster or an outright Boss Monsters based on various feats people suggest would put the cast in the small building to large building tier and in the supersonic to hypersonic range. However either way Mandrake would be an absolute menace in the verse. He has way more versatility with his magic then almost anyone in Undertale, his attack reflecting barrier would basically mean the verse's usual method of combat wouldn't work, and worst of all, monsters are weak to killing intent. Mandrake is an edgy sadistic psychopath who loves killing. He would genuinely be a pseudo-Genocide route player, just with less DETERMINATION and more overall versatility. Except most of the monsters are actually liable to fall for him disguising himself as their loved ones, as most of them are actual loveable goofs.

That said fittingly enough there is one monster within the normal monster ranks that would be his bane, the final boss of Genocide, sans the skeleton. Regardless of if you think his speed is closer to the normal monsters or the Boss Monsters, sans can dodge attacks of that speed literally in his sleep. He uses spatial warping to hit opponents from angles and perspectives they weren't expecting negating the usefulness of Mandrake's shield and KR would poison Mandrake's soul down without him being able to hit sans. sans is also one of the smartest monsters and would absolutely be able to tell Mandrake isn't Papyrus for instance.

On the other hand, what if reverse it, put him in a verse that is mostly dark with some characters being more comedic, another High Fantasy verse but on the complete tonal opposite side of the spectrum and put Mandrake in Bastard!!? Well Mandrake would fit in better then most HGS characters though that goes without saying. In terms of Stats Mandrake would fit in basically perfectly in the first major tier of powerful mundane warriors and spellcasters. These mostly scale from MacPain being launched through a skyscraper and numerous speed feats like Kai Harn dodging a supersonic attack at point blank range. They each both have light-timing high ends.

In terms of how he'd do, his level of sadistic and killer desire wouldn't be that unusual in that dark fantasy world of Bastard!! but his powerset would be relatively wide for his tier. Outside of his Terrasphere he'd have roughly the stats of one of the Samurai opposing Kal Su, masters of magic and swordcraft. While he wouldn't have their levels of skill he would have the Terraspheres to bolster his power and versatility. There are a lot of broken haxes in the verses that without prior knowledge could kill him quickly such as Medusa whose gazes turn people to stone or Beholders who are immune to magic and would force him to rely on just his sword to try and kill it. However his stealth would be a good very good strategy similar to Borgir Bir as there's a lack of strong super senses on that tier and his illusions can also drain mages of this tier of their stamina fairly quickly. Overall he'd be a powerful but mostly fair combatant for the first major tier.

He'd be a little out of his depth trying to fight anyone higher, even as part of a team, most mages by the second tier have spell bound that would keep him from casting and most warriors just have too potent physical stats, though if he was part of a group he could use things like portal creation to provide support and transmutation or sleep manipulation to provide a threat to at least some of the next higher tier.

Powerscaler Alignment Chart

I wanted to share the alignment chart I think of when I think of different types of powerscalers

Open Scientific

Neutral Scientific

Skeptical Scientific

Open Neutral

True Neutral

Skeptical Neutral

Open Narrative

Neutral Narrative

Skeptical Narrative

There are two spectrums here to explain. It's not so much anyone in particular is at the extreme end, but a spectrum where some people tend more one way then other people.

Open vs. Skeptical: Open people are people who tend to have higher balled interpretations, and are more open to evidence. In general they are more open to considering unorthodox positions on characters and matchups. Their strengths are they are not prone to appeals to incredulity or tradition, they are relatively good at just removing all pre-existing assumptions about characters. Their downside is their positions can seem absurd to people with higher evidentiary standards. Skeptical people are people who tend to have lower balled interpretations, and generally higher standards of evidence. They are less likely to change their positions on how strong characters are in general. Their strengths are they are very discerning and good at dissecting bad evidence. They are very good at going over a list of evidence and finding leaps in logic or alternative explanations that don't require extraordinary conclusions. However on the other hand they are more likely to make unfalsifiable claims about how a character can't be x strong or fast, or be stubborn in the face of evidence that doesn't corroborate their current position. People who are neutral tend to be roughly in the middle. They can have very strong senses on how strong characters they know well are, but can be convinced to go higher or lower, especially if it's not by that large a margin by looking at the evidence. Most people on both spectrums will tend towards the middle, this is again more of which way you lean.

Scientific vs Narrative: Scientific Powerscalers are ones who probably either towards fictional realism (that is to say thinking that fiction has a kind of reality unto itself) or Death of the Author (where the meaning of a text is not determined by an author.) They tend to be most concerned with empirical data about a series, and tend to be the types that think there is a "right answer" as to for instance how fast a character is. Not that it's written down somewhere, but if you look at their showings you should be able to discern it. Their strength is they are more focused on evidence and proof rather then their intuition however their weakness is they can seem somewhat removed from the "spirit" of a story judging solely by empirical data. I think Scientific Powerscalers are more common at least on sites dedicated to such things, and I will give an example of the three kinds in my different alignment descriptions. Narrative Powerscalers are ones who care more about what they think the story is trying to say, and probably tend more towards fictional anti-realists (thinking of fiction as more a mental exercise then having a reality onto itself.) They don't tend to think of characters as having a specific level but instead numerous interpretations based on your understanding of the story. They are the ones who tend to care more about showing why their interpretation is more consistent with the lore or themes of the story, rather then just focusing on the feats themselves. People far on the Narrative side won't even debate a series they haven't experienced themselves. Their benefit is they tend to be more willing to understand why people disagree with them as they view it as another interpretation of the story, and they can be seen as more respectful to the source material, especially to non powerscalers. On the other hand, Narrative Scalers are not strictly focused on falsifiable empirical data and so can be rather floaty in their interpretation and not focused on evidence, which is arguably against the spirit of debate.

The Nine Alignments of Powerscalers as I see it:

Open Scientific: People who are Open Scientific Powerscalers are ones who are mostly just looking for do characters have feats of a certain level. They're not really concerned with if those feats have counter-examples or if they tie into a deeper narrative, they view powerscaling in probably the most direct way which is "these are the impressive things the character has done, so that's how they strong they have to be." They'd probably agree with the notion that if a character has done something, then you trying to say they can't do that thing is just silly regardless of your interpretation of the text, and tend to have more open scaling where they don't mind scaling characters much higher then most do if they think the feats are clearly there. I have found them to be very common on Youtube.

Neutral Scientific: People who are Neutral Scientific are most concerned with what a characters's showings are but don't tend to have as out there interpretations and do tend to consider anti-feats a little bit. Their interpretations of a characters' strength might be a little higher then what most people think or it might be about where most people think but their primary mode of evidence is empirical showings and they are generally convinced by either just enough feats at a certain level or by a systemic explanation for why each feat is untenable. I have found them to be very common on most Battleboarding Sites.

Skeptical Scientific: People who are Skeptical Scientific put a great deal of stock into things like expressed limits or anti-feats, with some suggesting that they have equal importance to feats. They tend to interpret characters as being either roughly as strong as common consensus where they debate, or a bit weaker. They do prioritize feats but will either argue that a very high end feat is an outlier or try to discuss the internal logic of the feat and express why they don't think it applies. Because they are more on the Scientific Side they probably do still consider things like calcs, but because they are Skeptical they are very discerning on if any part of the calc it at all assumed, and are very conservative about what calcs can be applied, and if the number seems very high they may consider it an outlier. I have found them to be very common on Reddit WhoWouldWin.

Open Neutral: People who are Open Neutral can have very eclectic views on how strong a character is and be willing to consider any perspective that is meant to showcase their true strength whether it be in the form of direct feats or in the form of narrative implications. These are probably the most open minded scalers in one sense as they are eager to look at characters and series from new perspectives. I feel like a lot of the bigger Youtuber Powerscalers are here as mixing narrative elements into an Open Scientific Approach allows appealing to a wider audience and giving more interesting takes on series.  I am not on them much but I feel like r/powerscale and tik tok powerscaling do seem to trend in this direction.

True Neutral: The True Neutrals of the Powerscaling community are people who want to consider hypothetical matchups in all kinds of different ways. While Open Neutral is the most open minded in one sense, True Neutrals are probably the most open minded in another as while they may not consider a character radically different in power then most people they seem very open to people having different opinions without them being just wrong. These kind of scalers can be more casual and are seen pretty much anywhere powerscaling happens, from wikis to subreddits to video sites, especially more casual ones. I don't mean to suggest they're all casuals, just that if someone is casual they're likely here because they don't have very strong opinions on the matter.

Skeptical Neutral: Skeptical Neutrals are Powerscalers who are neutral on Scientific vs Narrative, they're willing to consider different types of evidence equally, but they are equally skeptical on both. To be totally honest, this seems to be the rarest type as I see them the least. There are certainly some bad actors who play Skeptical Neutral when it's only dealing with a series they don't like but people who truly are Skeptical Neutral on all series seems rare. With that said when I do see them, they like Skeptical Scientifics care on keeping consistent the limits of a character, however with a broader focus on what would "break the plot" as opposed to just what feats should not apply.

Open Narrative: People who are more Narrative Focused are those that care more about how strong a character is meant to be portrayed but when they're more Open they're much more willing to considering different interpretations of the narrative, including more out there ones. They tend to be less impressed by quantifiable things like dimension count and more by things like characters representing or effecting concepts, religious ideas, or other more abstract types of scaling with some expressing that those are inherently above the quantifiable. As a Narrative Focused Scaler they are more interested in making sure the power is consistent with the lore but as an Open Scaler they are more willing to consider more esoteric views on the Lore as opposed to more grounded views. Broadly Narrative Scalers in general tend to more focused in fandom specific spaces rather then powerscaling specific spaces.

Neutral Narrative: People who are Neutral Narrative are almost more fanfiction writers than they are traditional powerscalers, though they are still trying to be consistent with the series they're using. These type of scalers view the characters AS their narratives or what they represents or the persona and the appeal of powerscaling is the interaction of these narratives. They are the most concerned with sticking close to the lore and spirit of the series the characters come from and when discussing feats they have the most care to say "this is why this level of power is the most consistent with the lore of the series."

Skeptical Narrative: People who are Skeptical Narrative even more then Skeptical Neutral are the most likely to be concerned with whether or not a proposed level of power would "break the plot." They are very concerned with maintaining the internal consistency of a world's worldbuilding. While an Open Narrative Scaler might be more concerned with what a character represents and how strong that could be, and a Neutral Narrative Scaler might be more concerned with what they believe the spirit of a series is and if that is being expressed correctly, a Skeptical Narrative scaler is most concerned with the actual plot and if any scale breaks that plot.

Now speaking for myself, I think I am pretty neutral on Open vs Skeptical. When I'm on more Skeptical Powerscaling Forums I am considered very Open, and when I'm on more Open Powerscaling Forums I'm considered very Skeptical. I feel like I am around the average scaler. I consider feats more then I do anti-feats but I don't totally ignore anti-feats and I consider a number of characters stronger then most people do, a few even much stronger but only because I believe I have a LOT of evidence for it, and hard to argue evidence at that. In terms of Scientific vs Narrative I feel like I tend towards Narrative. My background for this hobby is as a fanfiction writer, and while I do try to get really into feats to appeal to the broader powerscaling community, I do care a lot about trying to express the spirit of what a character is meant to represent if you can't tell by my blogs. That said I think all the alignments are valuable in what they can express in terms of critical thinking skills and debate skills.

How they Compare: Sakura Kaede (Kampfer)

In a far off galaxy there was a brutal war amongst aliens. However the death toll became too high. In order to settle this with no more of their own dying, they appoint a neutral party called Moderaters who give lesser races the power to become superhuman enhanced fighters called Blue Kampfer or Red Kampfer. The Blue and Red Kampfer fight, act as proxy champions for the two alien sides.

Sakura Kaede was a pleasant and kind young girl, who perhaps was a bit fearful of men. One day the young girl went exploring in the abandoned house next to her finding a secret tunnel underground. There she came across a strange statue with large glowing eyes that seemed to peer into her soul. On that day, Sakura's mind was inhabited by two personalities: the kind and gentle Sakura, and a manipulative and cruel misandrist who sought to do the will of the Moderators. It's unclear if other Sakura, the main villain of the series, is a moderator possessing her, or it's the result of Moderator brainwashing, or is a part of Sakura herself, but she spread the plushie toys called Entrail Animals, Stuffied animals in macabre deaths around, these toys causing people with potential to turn into the Kampfer.

However one enigma stopped her plans. While for some reason all human Kampfer were girls, Natsuru Seno was a boy who turned into a girl when he transformed into his Kampfer state. More then that instead of fighting the Red Kampfer, he tried to foster peace between the two sides so that they could turn against the moderators. Sakura didn't like that. She tried to manipulate him into accepting that he was really a girl and stay in that form and by her side forever, seemingly determined to prove the superiority of her sex and also to allow the battle between Blue and Red Kampfer to proceed. However Natsuru and his allies were able to stop the other Sakura and her forces, even freeing the original Sakura mind.

Kampfer is not a very strong verse, though Sakura does get the benefits of being one of the best fighters within it. One of her minions Rika was able to just burst through a ceiling and Sakura should be noticeably stronger. Someone more relative would be Shizuku who seemingly just deleted a wall in Chapter 23. Sakura when talking about other fighters commented that only Natsuru and Shizuku were any good, which strongly suggests those three as the top tiers. It's not entirely clear who's stronger between Sakura and Shizuku but at the very least the two have traded blows and it's clear Sakura doesn't think she's outclassed by her. Roughly calcs put the pulverization of the wall at energy values around 111 megajoules putting her in the Small Building Tier.

In terms of speed, there's an abundance of bullet timing feats in the series for even the lower tier characters, with Shizuku again being suggested to being someone lower tiers struggle to ever get a hit on and Sakura being somewhere in the same range as her, suggesting she could have supersonic speed.

More impressive then this from an out of universe standpoint are Sakura's mental stats which are higher then most characters in her tier. She seems to have gotten the Moderators intelligence in particular, creating a high tech lab where she preserves the bodies of Former Kampfers, and giving the Entrail Animals their information. She is also an expert manipulator, having deceived people into thinking she was just Natsuru's innocent childhood crush Sakura the whole time, regularly manipulating people based on their personal wants, pretending to be the other Sakura when it suits her, etc. The only person in the series who can mentally get the upper hand on her is Shizuku and even then it's more pitched then anything. As one of The Three Beauties of Seitetsu, she also has a level of social influencing.

In terms of combat, she can also personally lead her own lesbian harem of Kampfer called the White Kampfer into battle, Kampfer regularly doing absurd skill feats like blocking bullets with swords or making extreme feats of agility.

Kampfer are normally divided into three types, each with their own power... except Sakura isn't a Kampfer, she's a Moderator, and so has all their powers. Schwert Kampfer summon a sword when they transform and use it with superhuman skill, and indeed Sakura can use her Japanese styled sword in combat when needed. Gewehr Kampfer summon a gun when they transform and Sakura also has a Beretta which she can use, and presumably creating an unrealistic fast fire rate with it the way Gewehr Kampfer do. Zauber Kampfer use magic and are more varied through broadly shoot some kind of elemental. Sakura has also shown this in the final combat, creating electricity which came off her to attack Natsuru and friends. Uniquely she also showed she could bind people with it as well to the point they couldn't break out.

Sakura also showed a unique power, which is her iconic mind controlling eyes. Sakura can control someone's mind via eye contact. This can allow her to simply brainwash them, or have them act normal while following a command she implanted into them. It can also be used to mess with their memories which she uses so people don't remember she brainwashed them. Also if she's truly a moderator she may have their ability to cause people to cease to exist, though it seems unlikely she has that and wouldn't just use that and how Moderators do that isn't even entirely known.

In terms of weaknesses, Sakura has a very unlikely to show up weakness in most fights involving her where if the statue that brainwashed her initially and is now in her lab is destroyed, it will destroy the Moderator influence over her and she will return to being Good Sakura. Outside that Sakura seems to have a harder time modeling the minds of men and what they value, genuinely believing that Natsuru would choose her over his friends/love interests because life as a woman ruling at her side would be too tempting to pass up.

Name: Sakura Kaede, Other Sakura
Origin: Kampfer

Range: At least tens of meters with Beretta
Speed: Supersonic
Durability: Small Building Level
Stamina: Likely Superhuman
Standard Equipment: Her Sword and Gun
Intelligence: Superhuman

So how would Sakura do in other verses?

Kampfer is often considered Magical Girl-adjacent, so how would Sakura do in a an actual Magical Girl Series that happens to be a Reverse Harem Series unlike Kampfer which is a regular Harem Series?

The Leafe Knights would have similar levels of power to Sakura as they scale to Goh the Knight of Fire who burned a Saihi Tree to Ash, however she'd have a notable speed advantage as they at most scale to Hayate the Knight of wind who can move at the speed of the wind, while she can move at the speed of bullets. While they do have very high levels of skill to fight this, Sakura has likely higher skill along intelligence higher then anyone in the verse. On the plus side for the Leafe Knights they all have a city wide range which is much higher then her and should be resistant to any manipulation from her as they are considered strong of heart and conviction, resistant to corrupting infleunces and with the Knight of Sound Sasame able to hear sound on a city-wide range meaning he'd here any thing she says when she thinks she's out of earshot. Her best attempt to manipulate them would be to pretend to revert to Good Sakura so they won't strike her down. If she tries to bind them they can use their dimensional travel which they use to travel their world and back. She'd have to basically wear them down which would be viable one on one given her speed advantage, though together they do they have the ability to seal entities away as strong as Saihi Fenrir away, much stronger then Sakura. So a fight between her and the Leafe Knights really depends on whether Sakura has the White Kampfer as backup or if she can pick them off one by one, as she can definitely beat a single one of them, but would probably lose to all seven at once.

If she fought Himeno or Saihi Fenrir though she'd pretty easily lose, they're just way stronger then Sakura fighting for the entire world.

Fushigi Yuugi is another Reverse Harem series that is also considered Magical Girl adjacent, so what would happen if Sakura would dropped off inside the universe of the four gods.

Sakura would be considered a relative high tier, with most godly warriors doing things like smashing boulders or cars and with the strongest setting the local environment on fire, something Natsuru was doing early in the story with his magic fire and Sakura being much stronger then. Likewise most of the verse has subsonic feats of moving faster then the eye something Sakura would be able to move much faster then if not outright blitz. Even outside the four Gods however, Sakura can't just brute force her way through the verse. While she can beat most of the outright Martial Artists in the verse who usually use fists, melee weapons, or various elementals which are not dissimilar to the elemental magic Kampfer uses, there are more illusions in Fushihi Yuugi including Chichiru and Tomo, both of whom would be threats that Sakura had never experienced before. There verses has their own enhanced geniuses like Chiriko who's celestial power is enhanced intelligence that could also mentally compete with her.

With that said Sakura playing her normal route would be highly effective. She can easily manipulate and brainwash people she comes across by pretending to be a sweet innocent girl. Even mentally intoxicating drugs were shown to very potent in the verse and Sakura can just do that via eye contact and on a much thorough level. Combine that with how she can beat almost anyone directly in a one v one fight if she does get found out and she'd be extremely difficult to stop.

In Hayate the Combat Butler, another Harem series set in Modern Japan albeit one with a lot more fantastical elements, Sakura would be considered a relative speedster, with bullet timing still being difficult for the faster characters in the setting. However with most characters being able to compare to at least a pre-Golden Week Hayate who was able to fight small building sized mech that could tech through similarly sized buildings, large demons that ripped up trees and large sections of the earth, minotaurs shattering multiple large stone pillars with one swing of its axe, etc. Sakura's power would be considered nothing particularly special. She's also as smart as anyone save Shiori who is a non fighter that makes the mechs while being as skilled as the better fighters in the verse meaning she would be a substantial mental threat.

Sakura's binding ability and her lightning attacks wouldn't be especially strong in a verse of characters with such high power but her brainwashing should do pretty well, especially in a verse with such high female cast she can manipulate, as brainwashing, or really powers in general, are pretty rare in Hayate, mostly shown by spirits who possess people. They wouldn't suspect a non-fighter to just be able to do that. Now there are some characters who have exorcism abilities like Isumi who may be able to exorcise the Moderator influence from Sakura, though she'd have to know it's there and Sakura could simply brainwash or kill Isumi beforehand with relative power and much higher speed. Of course if she's found out she could obviously be overwhelmed as any attack from one of the big names could one-shot her.

Cutie Honey is another anime/manga series where the villains are all girls and have sapphic and misandrist influences with a similar power level so I thought it worked.

Sakura would fit right in with the high Tiers of Cutie Honey in terms of stats. Fire Claw was able to turn a tree to ash and Angel Honey was able to turn a normal Panther Claw Agent to ash, calced at 243 megajoules, over twice that of Shizuku's calc though Honey is the Hero of the verse. In terms of speed, Honey and Sister Jill were both able to bullet time from close range, similar to what Kampfer do and should be around Sakura in terms of speed.

Sakura in Cutie Honey would be entertaining. She's powerful enough to contend with the high tier fighters well but with a different arsenal type. As Honey is an Android and her enemies Panther Claw are demonic cats from another dimension I don't know if Sakura's hypnosis would work on them though it's likely she could manipulate Panther Claw anyway as they are very obvious personifications of greed and lust, thinks easy for Sakura to give. That said this would be a dangerous game for Sakura as she doesn't have an easy to kill the regenerating demons on her own level of power. She could try binding them though even if they aren't strong enough to escape, if she runs out of stamina they will escape. What's more, with her crystal ball, Witch Zora, their supreme leader may be able to tell where the Moderator Statue, the source of her abilities is and send the Panthers to destroy it.

Against Honey herself it's the other way around. Sakura would have a harder time manipulating Honey. She could do it, taking advantage of Honey's heroism, though on the other hand Honey could also manipulate her as she's a trickster heroine similar in trickery as Shizuku and has the benefit of her many disguises. Honey has a lot more weapons including ones that could potentially one shot Sakura like acid spit. That said Sakura has lightning projection which would be especially bad for the Android Heroine.

Overall Sakura would be a dangerous threat in the Cutie Honey verse but not one that is insurmountable and would form a third party contrasted with Panther Claw's drive to take Honey's beautiful body by force, instead manipulate it to her side one way or another.

Finally the Xena-verse isn't an anime/manga obviously or a harem series, but I just wanted to see the sapphic villain be hopefully defeated by a series with just as strong sapphic energy. Sakura would not be quite as strong as the High Tier Fighters in the Xena verse who scale to the Gods creating avatars as small as small buildings, one shotting each other, or destroying temples in one shots. On the other hand with arrow timing being one of the fastest things in the verse, she'd have a pretty big speed advantage, though she can't really rely on this with the skill scaling of the verse being so high they can still react to and tag Sakura moving at full speed.

For the most part, Sakura has an arsenal that would make her too strong for most of the conventional fighters. Binding, Lightning Projection, Enhanced Agility, and Brainwashing would make her definitely more a match for most of the superhuman fighters, especially as she would definitely be seen as a speed focused fighter, perhaps blessed by Hermes. She'd have some interesting fights against either high tiers. Immortal Callisto for instance she wouldn't be able to kill but could incap at least temporarily via binding and mind hax, though she'd have to figure out some way to stop her or Callisto would eventually get her. Against Eve the Bringer of Twilight it really depends. Eve should have the advantage in most physical stats, the sight which lets her see into corrupted hearts to know Sakura's true intentions, and exorcism powers, but if Sakura can get her into eye contact with her superior speed she may be able to brainwash her. Otherwise she'd have try to wear Eve down and I don't think that would work.

If she had to fight Xena herself however, I think she'd lose clearly. Xena has resisted hypnosis before and has shown both the strength to overpower Sakura's bindings as well as just the ability to escape bindings. Sakura would be faster but Xena would have pretty much every other category and would be able to hunt her down. The best thing Sakura would have is manipulating Xena's good nature, brainwashing her allies against her, taking hostages, or pretending to be innocent Sakura so Xena can't stop her. This might temporarily work but Xena has been in basically all of these situations before and has figured out ways to get around them and would probably still win.
