Xiaolin Showdown-verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in Xiaolin Showdown

Once again I would like to remind that the tiers I'm presenting here are not the level of power the characters possess but the relative scale of threat a character can present, how far their influence would extent in the verse. Another way to think of it is if you dropped x character in the verse, how far would they be able to bring under their control. So a city scale threat is a character who can bring a city under their influence and a planetary scale threat is a character who can bring a planet under their influence.

Local Scale Threat:
This is the general level of tough fighters in the verse including the Xiaolin Dragons when they were just apprentices (into season 2 they are kind of this as well, though they can grow stronger with Dragon x Kumei Formation) and the villains that are roughly comparable like Jack Spicer, Katnappe, Tubbimura, and so forth. Jack Spicer is seemingly the weakest of these, though he was able to survive the explosion of the top of a mountain. In addition the characters scale to being below but not massively below Evil Dojo who sunk the island of Atlantis and was going to begin 1,000 years of darkness (well 962 years, but 1,000 sounds more ominous). Given that the energy of the sun that hits the Earth every second this is a likely megaton feat as well.

Speedwise this scale has MHS+ speeds scaling from the Serpent's Tail which could quickly traverse half the entire Earth, and which even Tubbimura could easily keep pace with.

Outside of stats this scale has very high level of skill in combat, to the point that they can impress and even outperform warriors like Chase Young who has spent well over 1,000 years constantly fighting and training, and Omi was able to impress Chase Young in skill and even bested him by creating a new martial arts move on the spot.

The verse also has numerous Shen Gong Wu, magical artifacts that grant various abilities with the most notable of them being things like: attack reflection, portal creation, time travel, knowledge of anything in the universe, lightspeed travel (and one that travels faster then anything including the prior lightspeed one), invisibility, intangibility, atomization and fear manifestation.

Now granted on any occasion, a fighter is only likely to have 1 or 2 on their person, however the sheer variety of effects making fighting in the verse very unpredictable, and hard to find strategies to counter. However there are a few weaknesses I've noticed in the verse.

Firstly there's stealth. Stealth seems to be very effective in the verse; for instance Jack's Robo-Kimiko infiltrating the Xiaolin Dragons pretending to be the real Kimiko, Evil Dojo tricking Omi by using his body elasticity to slink at the top of the cage, and numerous usages of the Shroud of Shadows (invisibility). Enhanced perception is actually not very strong in the verse, with the most notable being the Falcon's Eye which allows sight through solid objects.

If a direct fight is needed, mobility will be the name of the game. Katnappe after obtaining the famous Golden Tiger Claws actually combined mobility with minor stealth very effectively and got the upper hand against 3 of the 4 Monks with relative ease. A stealth + mobility build, maybe with some manipulation would likely be very helpful.

That said the sheer number of wu means that for the most part so long as they have it, a counter can usually be found, including one wu that traps enemies in a supposedly impenetrable orb that can transfer their powers to the user of the wu, meaning basically any defensive strategy that relies on tanking or resisting abilities is a really bad idea. One could always disable use of the wu with any kind of magical silence effect but even better would be taking them for yourself. Abilities like telekinesis would also be really effective as it would allow for quickly taking the wu from their hands before they can use them. Now granted, without mind-reading the counter won't be able to activate them since they won't the name of the wu, but it will for the time permanently take away their ability to use that wu, and again most opponents in the verse usually only carry 1-2 wu on them at any time, if that.

So to get into counters, the first counter is a pretty raw power approach for a direct fight. This would be

Tatsumaki, the Tornado of Terror from One-Punch Man.

As a premier superhero of the OPM Universe, Tatsumaki would be on the upper end limit of the XS-verse's power, given she stopped 35 city-busting bombs, counteracting their kinetic energy with her telekinesis. However this was casual and is a form of direct attack done with her mind meaning in a fight with the XS-verse lower tier fighters, she could just mentally force their limbs to break at a range or otherwise incapacitate them.

Tatsumaki is also a highly mobile fighter, due to her skilled flight mixed with her wind manipulation, meaning she would be extremely hard to pin down.

Tatsumaki has the ability to control technology with her mind as she used her psychic power to change the tv channel. Would this allow her to control the wu? I don't know, but at the very least, she could telekinetically control them and separate them from her opponents.

Tatsumaki also has the ability to manipulate chi and auras, which going by the sun chi lantern could make her very powerful in the XS-verse by turning off the Dragons' elemental powers.

The only real concern with Tatsumaki is that she might possibly be overwhelmed. While this seems unlikely given her ability to maintain distance and her sheer range/mobility advantage, if a more stealthy approach is wanted

Spectra would do really well.

Most DP Ghosts would do really well at this range really. Invisibility and intangibility give an immense advantage in the verse as it gives immediate stealth and extreme difficulty in being affected. Even if the serpent's tail + reversing mirror combo was used to make Spectra physical, she could simply turn intangible again. She can also fly and likely overshadow (possess) people meaning she could simply use their own power against them.

Spectra herself is also durable enough to survive an attack meant to tear ghosts like her atom from atom, meaning she would likely be able to survive a number of hits even if she was caught out in physical form.

Spectra is also a fairly good manipulator and could simply pretend she's a normal human to manipulate them, as well as her ability to gain power via misery and despair meaning she could grow much stronger around people like Jack Spicer who comically suffers every other day, or just by observing the Monks training. And with no ghost sense, the Dragons would have no reason to even suspect her.

However for an even more versatile and dangerous strategy I know someone would be even more dangerous

Candeloro, Witch form of Puella Magi Mami.

Candeloro should easily scale to weaker witches which maintained city sized barrier. Now granted the XS-cast will probably not be too fazed by the barrier itself, given that every Xiaolin Showdown warps the surroundings (if not quite as extremely, usually). However Candeloro's other powers are the main problem.

Candeloro is naturally invisible, as is all witches against non-magical enemies. In XS only those with Heylin magic would likely be able to see Candeloro. Beyond that witches have the ability to control minds with the infamous Witch's Kiss, even brainwashing entire fortress. They have also demonstrated reality-warping against non magical enemies inside their barriers.

You might think the lack of intangibility means the XS-verse might get lucky and hit her by accident, but Candeloro can also create legions of Du Polignac, Candeloro's familiars. Her enemies would likely think these creatures were causing the reality-warping surroundings. It helps that she is a highly mobile entity, with her flight and relatively small size as well as MHS speed by scaling. She can also theoretically reflect any lucky ranged attack with gun of aegis.

Mami and Candeloro's specialty is her ribbons, threads not even the city level Homura was able to break. She is so good at this, she can create whole copies of herself with ribbon. These ribbons could snatch the wu away from her enemies before they even notice the attack was coming due to their razor thin size and their speed. These ribbons could easily bind the XS-low tiers. This is in fact Candeloro's most basic strategy as the witch's desire is to make others join her for a tea party for all time, and even her many familiars can create these ribbons to bind Candeloro's enemies.

City Scale Threat:
This is the tier of the experienced fighters, including the Base Xiaolin Dragons by season 3 (they can also reach this tier in season 2 with Dragon x Kumei Formation). This tier is the fighters whose power is comparable to the Shen Gong Wu in their own domain, and in fact one fighter of this tier, Mala Mala Jong, is a Heylin Demon made out of wu.

This tier is planet level scaling from Mala Mala Jong who was stated to be able to destroy the world, and being able to compete with the large planet level high tiers. In speed they should be low ftl from not being blitzed by beings like Chase Young who view wu like the Fancy Feet, who can move faster then anything including logically the Showdown Transformations which can propel an environment at faster then light, as toys.

Similar counters as before are likely to be useful here; stealth, manipulation, mobility, range and disarming tactics. Basically tactics involving staying out of range of melee fighting and hax wu abilities.

One tactic that seems like it could work relatively well that starts to become a bit more common by this tier is time manipulation abilities. There is only one known wu that manipulates time; the sands of time, and it only allows for time travel. More esoteric time manipulation would likely be hard for this verse to fight. And that's the key to my first counter

Animated GIF

Castor and Pollux from God of War.

Castor and Pollux are faster then Champions of Zeus and so are confirmed to be faster then light by word of god.

Now Castor and Pollux's raw power is drastically less then Mid Tier XS-characters, and are more on par with XS low tier characters. However they can ignore durability with the amulet of Uroborus which is really the main reason why Castor and Pollux would be so broken.

The Amulet of Uroborus allows for the control of time, including slowing it down to outright stopping it as well as age-ing or de-ageing anything in the area. This would be monumentally broken against the Mid Tier XS cast as they are clearly not ageless entities and could be aged backwards until their birth or aged forward until their death.

It also means trying to attack would not work very well. Not only can he fly and teleport, but he can slow down time or even stop it in his area meaning getting an attack through on him would be ridiouclously hard, meaning all he needs to do is shoot one age manipulating blast, time stopped or normal, and it would beat any enemy on this scale. Even Mala Mala Jong which likely would not die from being aged could be de-aged to being basic Shen Gong Wu again.

It might seem due to Pollux grotesquely being part of Castor that at the very least Castor would have no stealth and be an obvious target, however Castor usually keeps Pollux concealed under his tunic giving him a very low level of stealth.

For a combatant with a bit more flair

Magneto, master of magnetism would work well.

Magneto has planetary stats with his magnetism, able to shift the entire planets electromagnetic field and stop planetary destroying projectiles. While his speed is slower, his reaction speed is easily high enough to make it so he doesn't get blitzed.

The interesting thing here is that a lot of the Shen Gong Wu are made out of metal meaning that Magneto could simply zip them to his hand, including mostly notable the Emperor Scorpion which controls the others. And Magneto's electromagnetism range is planetary meaning he can simply call all the metal wu to him immediately, including ones that are currently dormant.

In terms of stealth, Magneto can bend the light (electromagnetic waves) around him making himself invisible. Magneto also has a number of one-shot moves even at planetary range, as he can create a near absolute zero cold magnetic vortex, can warp the electromagnetism in peoples' brains, can control the iron in peoples' blood...this would basically one-shot all the verse's mid-tier fighters.

Magneto can one-shot the mid-tier fighters in the verse from a planetary range away, while remaining invisible, and able to immediately take all the metal wu in the verse, including dormant ones, and including the Emperor Scorpion which can control all the wu and bring them to him.

For a semi hybrid style using spacetime manipulation like Castor and Pollux as well as raw power and one-shot attacks

you could use Shadow the Hedgehog.

Shadow the Hedgehog is comparable to Sonic who beat Perfect Chaos after absorbing four of the chaos emeralds, just one able to split the entire world and defeated ultimate Emerl who was stated to be a planetary threat. Shadow also scales to Sonic's speed and Sonic has stated that lightspeed is not even a challenge to him and has numerous ftl feats. This would make Shadow comparable to XS-mid tiers in terms of power, however this is only Shadow's normal state. He wears two inhibitor rings that allow him to rapidly grow in power to the point that he blitzed and annihilated an entire army of Mephiles the Dark, just one of whom was comparable to Base Shadow. While this doesn't bring Shadow to any higher level and so it doesn't break the power limit, it would give him a strong raw stats advantage.

But that's just starting. Shadow possess very potent chaos control, manipulation primarily of spacetime. This allows him to teleport and even time travel giving him unmatched mobility for the verse. Shadow can use chaos control to send opponents to different places in spacetime or even outside of spacetime and sealing them which would be a one-shot against almost anyone in the verse.

Shadow can also paralyze opponents with his chaos spears and he can chuck a lot of them at once, meaning he could cluster any group of opponents he runs into with paralyzing spears that at the very least gives him plenty of time to do other things.

Shadow can also use his chaos control to slow down or stop time, meaning he would get similar advantages to what was mentioned above, being able to outmaneuver the XS Mid Tiers casually.

Planetary Scale Threat:
Here we get into the high tiers and the top tiers of XS.

The High Tiers include characters like Chase Young, Hannibal Roy Bean, Master Monk Guan and the Season 3 Xiaolin Dragons using the Wudai Orion Formation (and arguably Raimundo at EOS). Chase Young viewed Shen Gong Wu like the Fancy Feet giving FTL speed and the Lunar Locket which can move the moon at relativistic speeds yielding 86 yottatons (Large Planet Level) as mere toys and with a single strike split the Earth at relativistic speeds also requiring large planet level energy. The other high tiers are comparable to him. The high tiers are even more skilled in general then the Mid Tiers (in general).

The Top Tiers include the Great Heylin Witch Wuya and the Legendary Xiaolin Grandmaster Dashi. Wuya was powerful enough to warp the surface of the sun, requiring low stellar levels of power at least and Dashi was superior to her able to defeat her in pitched conflict. In fact Dashi created all the Shen Gong Wu with small parts of his power.

A lot of the prior strategies don't really work as well here. Primarily the big difference is range. Chase casually affected the entire Earth and Wuya affected the Sun from Earth, an entire astronomical unit away. Range isn't really helpful anymore and without any benefit of staying at range, mobility becomes significantly less helpful. Disarming is also useless now as characters don't rely on wu, both literally and symbolically. Dashi if he needed to could literally just make a new wu same way he made a new puzzle box just by willing it into existence.

I think stealth and manipulation might still be useful. Dashi notably trusted Omi based, according to him, on Omi having an honest face. A character who doesn't look intimidating visually or who is a good manipulator I think could maybe manipulate the top tiers Dashi and Unsealed Wuya.

For a little bit of that mixed with general raw power I would suggest

The Eastern Supreme Kai from DBZ would probably work well.

Eastern Supreme Kai is relatively young for a Supreme Kai, having only recently been an apprentice to the Old Supreme Kai. He also acts somewhat young correspondibly, being more prone to expressing emotion and being unstoic. However as a Kai he actually is millions of years old, with both lots of intelligence and combat experience meaning he would have a good chance of manipulating.

In terms of raw power, First Form Freeza was able to casually destroy Namek with low stellar levels of energy and any one of the Supreme Kais could casually one-shot Freeza meaning the Eastern Supreme Kai should have a power advantage, though not to my knowledge be over the power restriction. He is also monumentally superior to Beginning of Z Piccolo (Buu Saga Piccolo claimed that Shin was dimensions stronger then him) and Beginning of Z Piccolo created a casual ki beam that traveled to the moon in a few seconds at most meaning near-light speed. Eastern Supreme Kai should likely be in the lower FTL range meaning that he should be comparable to superior in speed.

In addition, Shin has enhanced sight capable of seeing across the universe due to being a Supreme Kai as well as a teleportation that is superior to even the instantaneous movement. This means Shin can teleport in and out to quickly attack them without them realizing what happened, even if his singular attack does not one-shot. He could also teleport them through dimensions though this wouldn't be a one-shot against Dashi since Dashi could recreate the ying-yang yo-yo which can allow for inter-universal travel.

Shin also has telekinesis strong enough to even restrain Gohan, meaning he could likely use it to temporarily paralyze even a top tier from XS meaning that even if they would be able to threaten him he could quickly paralyze them with his telekinesis.

While Shin would be a good choice, since he could probably win via raw power and mundane but strong techniques, there are beings that would do even better with lower stats just due to broken abilities. Shin would likely overpower but he could get haxed and lose. While XS has offensive haxes, there isn't actually a lot of counters to defensive haxes. A character I think could exploit it well

would be El Tigre.

El Tigre is comparably powerful to Sartana of the Dead who one-shot El Tarantula. El Tarantula in fact is an old retired supervillain whose clearly not a threat, yet he was able to steal the moon at relativistic speeds which would put El Tigre easily in the yottaton, large planet level range similar to XS high tiers. He's also comparably fast to a laser which could travel to the sun in seconds requiring speeds 500 times the speed of light giving him a notable speed advantage against anyone in the verse.

El Tigre also possesses stealth and manipulation abilities that would hypothetically allow him to trick and manipulate Dashi and Wuya. El Tigre has stolen from and sometimes lied and manipulated his papi and grandpapi White Panthera and Puma Loco, who are a high-ranking superhero and supervillain respectively, both of whom have plenty of experience with criminals and presumably deducing liars yet he has shown the skill to manipulate both of them if need be.

In addition while his raw strength probably would not be enough to seriously harm Dashi and Wuya, only minorly damage them, his claws due to their incredible sharpness act as a serious force multiplier and especially if used on a vulnerable part of the body, like the eyes could kill them, or at the very least blind them which would be a near death sentence for them as El Tigre would be able to zip around their blinded selves faster then they could catch and he could damage them with lots of claw slashes or even stay at range using his retractable chain claws from over 120 meters away or using the spinning armodillo to increase his strength via charging his energy from leaping up and falling into a kick and hitting their head.

Also El Tigre has a powerful defensive hax, the ancient tiger spirit which will automatically restore him even from death. The only way the verse would really have to be able to stop him would be for Dashi to kill him and trap the ancient tiger spirit in a puzzle box. However he would have no knowledge that was going to happen and if El Tigre blinded him he would have no idea when it was even happening even if he did luckily hit El Tigre.

However Dashi does theoretically have the capacity to beat El Tigre. While I think El Tigre would win due to his stealth and manipulation, his raw stats focused through force multipliers like claws and kicks, and his hax/abilities, there is a character I think would do even better since theoretically speaking so long as the character wants to fight, it would be impossible for them to lose this fight.

Cure Happy from Smile Pretty Cure.

Cure Happy's final form is comparable in power to the massively larger then the Earth True form of Emperor Pierrot, who was able to obliterate the Earth in his first form. Cure Happy's final Angel form is itself far larger then the Earth. Cure Happy is also comparable in speed to Cure Marine who near the beginning of Heartcatch Pretty Cure was able to outpace light from a camera to save Cure Blossom. Statwise she's about comparable to the High Tiers of XS, maybe a bit less in terms of power since it wasn't as casual.

Cure Happy has a number of abilities like creating light dimensions, danmaku styled multi-attacks using magic lasers, creating holy lights, and forcefields. This all would be helpful but not especially broken. However her ultimate power is beyond this.

Cure Happy's faith in fairy tales and happy endings was so strong that she actually changed the plot, the storyline in-universe, restoring all the fairy tale worlds to the happy endings that the Bad End Kingdom changed it from. Cure Happy can alter plot, the metafictional destiny. The XS-verse doesn't actually have any destiny manipulation to counter or any chaos manipulation or anything that would remotely counter this. It's spacetime manipulation as mentioned earlier is a bit rudimentary given it's tier meaning there would be very little that could be done to protect against this. It's a highly potent offensive and defensive hax. Cure Happy could simply change the outcomes via her belief in happy endings, to make it so that she won.

Though granted given she makes things into happy endings, I imagine it's less of killing the XS-high tiers and more so making them become her friends.

And that's how to be OP in Xiaolin Showdown-verse.

Yu-Gi-Oh!-verse strategy guide

How to be op in Yu-Gi-Oh!

Local Scale:
The Duel Monsters verse on a local scale has human fighters that are on the lower bound superhuman range, with far higher reactions, able to react to lightning in the labyrinth duel, arguably much higher as they can react to the vastly superhuman duel spirits in combat fine.

This is buffered by the usage of dark magic which vastly increases the power and abilities of the humans; an example being the dark sorcerer Aknadin who was able to conjure dark lightning to use against the Pharaoh and crumbled a large section of ground against him consistent with Yugi surviving a massive wall of flame and superleaping since chapter 1.

The current top tiers physically of the local scale fighters are Spirit Pharaoh Atem and Spirit Bandit Thief Bakura, reborn in modern times.

Both of them are also holders of at least 1 (the latter gathers more over the series) of the 7 great Millennium Items. The 7 are able to seal spirits in cards, and able to turn any competition into the legendary games of darkness (translated into English as "shadow games"), deadly game that drains the lifeforce of any playing. This is most often done to a game of duel monsters, successor to the ancient form of dueling with monster spirits in ancient egypt, however can be done to any competition, even battle. The final duel involves turning the whole universe into a game of darkness between Atem and Bakura. Anyone who loses or cheats at a game of darkness is subject to "penalty game", a graphic punishment often lethal can warp body, mind, or soul. They seem to grant some protection against each others' abilities. The 7 Millennium Items also have unique abilities.

Millennium Puzzle: Grants the "power of darkness" and intelligence, can change destiny.
Millennium Eye: Looks into the mind
Millennium Ring: Acts as a compass to the other millennium items, and can seal fragments of souls into objects
Millennium Scale: Can assess the darkness in a person's soul, and forcibly fuse two things together
Millennium Key: Allows entrance into the minds of others and can change the soul to make them a puppet
Millennium Rod: Can take control of others.
Millennium Necklace: Gives visions into the future and past

As can be seen by this; some resistance against dark magic is needed in some form to survive this verse.

So what are the weaknesses of this verse?

While stealth may seem relatively unhelpful here, sniping tactics would likely be very effective here, since generally all the powers here are activated abilities rather then passive defenses. The only exception to this would seem to be being a spirit which provides a form of passive defense.

Range in general would likely be a helpful weapon to use, as most of these powers outside beginning a game of darkness seem relatively close range.

I would not recommend getting into an actual game of darkness and trying to win. The users of the Millennium Items are more experience at games of darkness, and have the superhuman stamina to endure it as well as being massively skilled. Yugi in particular has beaten two game makers at their own games, one of which he had never even played before and had chosen essentially a random selection of pieces to use, not even including his ability to change destiny.

Instead it's better to focus on a quick victory. Range, traps, magic nullification or sealing, anything to keep them from initiating game of darkness. A telekinetic with the ability to seperate them from their millennium items before they can react would be even better. Some level of mental and astral defense would also not go astray in order to protect against the number of powers of that type in the verse.

So who would be a good counter on a local level?

Kaname Hagiri (Sniper) from Yu Yu Hakusho would probably do really well as a counter. Channeling spirit and demon energy into small objects, he could essentially snipe the DM-verse from far out of their sensory range. His ultimate attack has a weakness of only being effective at 200 meters which is out of the shown range of the Millennium Items.

He also has the ability to detect spirits and spirit energy meaning he should be able to find who his enemies are very easily, and pick them before he gets noticed. He also has telekinesis which would prove helpful if he does get discovered. His spirit energy would also allow him to hit the spirits Yugi and Bakura.

I considered doing Yu Kaito or Game Master under the logic they may be able to defeat the DM-verse by using their own custom games in their psychic territory but really that's just asking for Yugi to defeat them via destiny changing. Sniper's tactic is just more pragmatic as a psychic counter to the DM-verse.

Granted this strategy is a bit dangerous as it relies strictly on him hitting them before they can respond. In a more arena style battle (or if his recklessness gets him caught) then he could easily get gibbed. For a more defensive strategy

Syaoran Li would be an even better option.

Syaoran is highly skilled and trained in magic and would able to identify the types of magic used in the DM-verse. He can affect spirits as seen by his interactions with the Clow Spirits, and the CLAMP-verse has a number of mystic seals and wards Syaoran would have likely learned.

More notably Syaoran like all CLAMP mages has a natural magic resistance, that would protect him from the dark magic of the Millennium Items, just as an example when the Erase did not erase Syaoran when it did almost anyone else. He can also sense magic, meaning he can easily find his opponents even in a large crowd.

Syaoran also has massively higher range and attack area of effect with his element manipulation (primarily fire and lightning). He also, despite his age is physically comparable to the fighters of the verse in pure stats, as he has moved comparable to an arrow and fought physically with the Fight card.

If Syaoran is given the cards he has possessed, he would do even better with more haxes including freezing, putting people to sleep, duplication and time-stopping, something that normally takes the Yu-Gi-Oh! God Tiers to do.

However there's another magic-user I think would do even better

Harry Potter would be the best pick against the DM-local scale fighters I think.

Harry Potter has a very strong against mental defense due to his training in occulumency which would allow him to actually use stealth effectively, which he could due with his cloak of invisibility.

His magic power is actually comparable with the tier but he's far more versatile then the tier. He can induce paraylsis which would work theoretically on any of the human fighters of the verse and his primary spell expelliarmus would be a quick disarm of any of the millennium items or he could even summon it to him with accio. If he were bloodlusted not only does he have the forbidden spell, but he can control people with Imperious (even not bloodlusted it's not inconcievable to use that spell) and he has Snape's spell Sectumseptra which would be nearly as effective.

But what about the intangible spirits? He actually has the ability to summon a patronus with Expecto Patronus, a manifestation of positive emotions which can ward off undead and spiritual entities like the dementors, or like the spirits of the DM-verse.

He can protect against any dark magic in the verse with a simple protego (and would think too given his defense against the dark arts training), and can teleport in and out at will with appartation. Basically he has access to defenses of every ability in the verse, can magic from a farther range then anyone currently on this tier and would be an invisible undetectable wizard capable of removing power sources, one-shotting any of the humans, and warding off the spirits with a word or two.

But the one last thing to note is that many of the Millennium Items have become confused and dealing with Yugi on account of having both light and dark within him, the Hikari Yugi and the Yami Yugi. Harry actually had the same thing, as he had a piece of Voldemort's soul within him from Voldemort's failed assassination, making his soul both of light and darkness, noted within his own verse. If Shadi tried to enter his soul for instance, he would potentially an astral projection of Voldemort in there as he did Yami Yugi.

City to Planetary Scale:
This is the scale of the actual duel spirits, monsters from the spirit world, severed parts of souls from criminals. These monsters are extremely strong, such that in a simulation in Duelist Kingdom, Giant Soldier of Stone was depicted by the computer as being stronger enough to destroy a card representing the moon. The strongest duel spirits are the Three Egyptian Gods representing three dualities of the world. These are strong enough to remake the world into a world of darkness and scale to be comparable to a monster that covered part of a star requiring likely planetary energy.

Speedwise, even a relatively weak like Megasonic Eye traveled from the edge of the universe, requiring speeds exceeding the expansion of the universe which is 10,000c. Even stronger Deep Eyes White Dragon which at the time had 4,000 ATK, the same as Obelisk flew at millions of times the speed of light from another solar system.

Many monsters also have effects. The most important ones being the ones controlled by the Egyptian Gods, notably the ability to cause insanity or cause death outright with their curse, being heavily magic resistant, a sense of cosmic awareness, and implied reality-warping. Osiris can weaken the power of other monsters, Obelisk can grow massively more powerful by sacrificing other monsters, and Ra has a number of abilities including self-revival.

So up to millions of times ftl planet level is the limit and those are the troublesome abilities to deal with. What weaknesses do the Gods have?

The big one is sealing. Duel Spirits have no known resistance to sealing and in fact the ancient egyptian magicians defeated them all the time by sealing them away in stone tablets. Powerful sealing abilities would likely work against them.

In addition they don't seem to be massively intelligent. At most they seem humanlike in intelligence, but vast intelligent characters should have no trouble outwitting them.

So who would do well against them?

Konron would do very well against them. While he is slower then them at thousands of times ftl, he has auto defenses in the form of dispel bounds, which would be difficult for them to break. Conversely Konron, especially in his Augoeides form, would be able to affect them very easily, as he can affect the eternal atoms; atoms on the physical, astral and spiritual planes of reality.

He should also be easily on their level of power. Even weakened he was 6,600 times as powerful as the planetary shaping Anthrax who could casually create country sized tornados. In his stronger form he could somewhat compete with the Seraphs who could destroy planets.

While it's possibly that the Egyptian Gods can affect spirits, being themselves duel spirits, it's unlikely they would be able to destroy every single eternal atom of Konron, especially not in the timeframe it takes him to regenerate.

Konron, as a demon also has as superhuman level of intelligence, wisdom and charisma as well as potent illusion creation and could also likely confuse or disorient the Egyptian Gods.

Also while human wizards did model their magic after the powers of Angels and Demons, Konron's abilities are not magic, as evidenced by how he can perform them with simple gestures and not invocations, meaning the Gods would not resist it. The Gods would maybe be able to force him to use his Augoeides but he would likely stomp them with it.

For a counter with sealing abilities but is more animalistic, and almost itself a Dark Egyptian God, just more haxed

The Black Beast from BlazBlue would likely do very well against the Egyptian Gods.

While The Black Beast would also be a bit lacking in speed compared to the Egyptian Gods, it more then makes up for it with sheer hax.

The Black Beast's psyche is itself it's own reality which trapped Ragna for 2 years, suggesting it could use this power to seal the Egyptian Gods, but even further it can absorb them outright into it's own beings portrayed as absorbing even intangible souls into it's being.

The Black Beast is also essentially a living evil cauldron, which suggests it would have existence erasure abilities which could be used to erase the egyptian gods from existence, nullifying Ra's self-revival abilities.

The Gods would have an extremely hard time even harming it as it is said to exist outside of logic, meaning only at best would the gods reality-warping be able to harm it, but even if they did, it can regenerate so long as seithr exists, which the Gods would have difficult even detecting outside of maybe their cosmic awareness.

Beyond that The Black Beast is smarter then it first appears as it developed a strategy to defeat the Take-Mikazuchi. Also because seithr is absolutely definitely not magic, the gods would not resist it.

For a combination of the above two tactics

The Throne of Yord would likely work great!

The Throne of Yord has inter-dimensional, inter-planetary capacities, something the Gods have never shown. It's also a semi-conceptual entity, and the Gods arguably would not be able to hurt it.

Beyond that the Throne of Yord has high level of fusion and absorption techniques and would potentially absorb or duplicate the gods attacks of beings themselves.

The Throne of Yord is also a cosmic intellect, watching over the world for thousands of years, and planning the movements of entire species like chess pieces. There's no doubt he could manipulate the Gods.

He also has high level dimensional transportation as well as sealing as shown when he created a city-sized portal, and when he trapped Tiara inside a forest dimension he conjured. He could likely seal the Egyptian Gods even if he does not absorb them into his being.

The Throne of Yord also transcends magic, as he existed before the mages of guardian world even created the magical arts and was worshipped as their god, meaning his effects would not be resisted in the anti-magic rule.

Stellar to Universal Scale:
At this level there's two real fighters.

One is Zorc described as creator of all darkness in his original appearance far above the Egyptian Gods at his peak. He is a master of the physical realm, able to stop or turn back time, turn beings to stone, turn severed limbs of his into powerful monsters, manipulation of negative energy and so on. He also has the power to create physical avatars like Bakura.

The other is his opponent, the Great Goddess of Light, Ra-Horakthy. She is described as the creator and should easily scale to boosted Blue Eyes White Dragon from the Dark Sides of Dimensions prequel manga, who light up an infinite dimension in terms of power. She has creation abilities, dream manipulation, and all of the abilities of the egyptian gods.

Power limitation is universal and speed limitation is millions of times ftl.

What are the weakness of this scale? Really it's actually similar to the prior one; sealing. Sealing Zorc away is what stopped him initially and Ra-Horakthy can be sealed by sealing the Egyptian Gods or Atem's true name or memory of it. Sealing and Memory Manipulation are the two most important powers.

Beyond that, it is notable that pretty much all of Zorc and Horakthy's haxes are physical outside of low level soul and mind manipulation Zorc has with his avatar, meaning existing as a non-physical entity means only having to deal with their raw power.

I have a pretty good counter

Noise from Pretty Cure would be an excellent counter.

Noise is the embodiment of sadness. While he is massively less powerful and fast then Ra-Horakthy and Zorc.....He will simply always return. In fact, because Zorc is comprised of the darkness in human hearts, including sadness, Noise will return simply by Zorc's existence. The sad dark hearts in Zorc will call forth Noise as their sad avenging angel.

Noise will simply always return. Lacking any lifeforce or spiritual essence, the two would not realize the danger Noise presents, as after being sealed by Otokichi, he learned the same ability and could easily seal them away, as well as being able to manifest such sadness around the Pharaoh's name that it is forgotten or turn all who know it to stone, or absorb them into his sad existence.

However this might take a while and could be counted as a loss if he dies once. For a more immediate and thorough counter, there is one character I know who would be an even better counter, namely

Yue from Cardcaptor Sakura.

Yue has roughly the right power, scaling from the Light and the Dark, whose power was significant even relative to Eriol. His speed is a bit low, but existing in dreams means it would be difficult for Zorc to affect him at least, as well as his his manipulation of time and vast CLAMP precognition would give him some counter to this.

Yue, being the clow guardian of the moon, would have his magic not fall under the domain of the sun Ra-Horakthy and thus not be nullified by it.

From there Yue has a million options on how to fight them. He can eradicate knowledge of the true name of the Pharaoh using The Erase, especially in conjunction with the Sleep and the Dream. He can use The Erase offensively as well, potentially erasing them.

He would have full knowledge of what they were going to do and how to counter it using prophetic dreams, and could potentially switch their minds with that of any bugs or other weak things he sees with The Change.

And he would also be able to create illusory copies of himself to deceive as to his position.

Overall Yue would be able to out gambit the Egyptian Gods by existing in the dream world and tricking and out predicting them before hitting them with a durability ignoring hax, or even just his raw power.

Lobo's Feats

Some feats for the next time. I sure am glad everyone was just dying for another DC vs Marvel fight.

Strength:
2: Post-Crisis Hal Jordan would have trouble holding Lobo. The Green Lantern Corps was able to contain a galactic size explosion. Even assuming it was all of them there (it wasn't) and dividing it evenly would give average GL member low galactic (10 GigaFoe/7,200~139,000 KiloFoe which is above 10 KiloFoe or low galactic) and Hal Jordan is way above average GL members.
4: Can fight Gods. Given the nature of DC Gods this may be even higher plane interaction

Durability:

Resistances:

Regen:

Speed:
2: Should be faster with his Bike, arguably beyond the Time Barrier
3: Reflexes are comparable to his bike speed, managed to tag the Flash

Intelligence:

Willpower:

Psychics:

Tech:

Summary:
Galactic Strength
Galactic, Potentially Universal Durability
MFTL (Quadrillions), faster reflexes
Resistance to Magic, Mental Attacks, Spacetime Warping, Reality Warping, Matter Manipulation
Regen (Low-Godly)
Possession
Duplication
Can hit intangibles (astral plane, possibly higher)
Supergenius Intellect
Highly skilled fighter
Aura-Reading
Various gadgets including homing bullets and nanite dagger
Can sense weak points in things
Time Travel
Red Lantern Ring
VERY limited form of mental attack (exposure to his mind from telepathy causes insanity)
-Crazy
-Easily manipulated by women

As for the actual fight, pretty sure Lobo's opponent stomps him. Meh. Anyway hope these feats help.

Panty and Stocking-Verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt-verse.

Note: While the ghosts are relatively weak compared to Panty and Stocking, there are a few instances of them doing non superficial damage to them, such as in "Catfight Club", meaning they belong properly in the same tier just far below rather then as a seperate tier.

City to Planetary Tier:
This is where most of the verse's fighters are.

This tier is generally city or country level. This comes from Stocking tanking a part of the Moon's sneeze which due to surface area was likely megaton range on Stocking's Body, numerous mushroom cloud feats, as well as Garterbelt surviving the meteor that killed the dinosaurs which in real life was 100 Teratons. There is an argument that the P&S verse meteor was even stronger due to it's seeming effect on the planet, however again surface area. Country Level scales to Garterbelt's durability, Stocking's sword strength since it cut Garterbelt, Corset's strength since he tore out Garterbelt's heart and possibly Corset's own durability.

The verse is also MHS from Stocking wanting to lose weight causing her to run around the world and into space (which itself has kiloton energy range).

However what makes it harder is the hax the verse. There are more "typical" abilities like invisibility and regeneration (Garterbelt, Chuck and Corset all possess powerful regeneration abilities). However all this pales in comparison to the potency of the verse's strongest abilities: luck manipulation.

Angels like Panty and Stocking are supernaturally lucky, a form of passive probability manipulation allowing for winning of extremely improbably games of chance consistently. Demons like Scanty and Kneesocks can counteract this, possibly with some form of bad luck aura.

So how to fight probability manipulation efficiently?

Probability manipulation in general is the selecting of a particular future that is most advantageous and making it come to pass, essentially a specific form of spacetime manipulation. As such a strong resistance to spacetime manipulation would likely give a form of resistance to supernatural bad luck, though that alone won't counter supernatural good luck as it affects the user more then the enemy.

For a more conventional counter, the best way to beat probability manipulation is just to overwhelm it. Instead of singular big attacks, focus on having lots and lots of little attacks coming in giving more and more chances to hit the enemy.

This can be done by danmaku, creating just a huge amount of attacks making it highly difficult to avoid all of them. It can also be done by creating more opponents to fight, by brainwashing the other side, or by either duplicating the self or summoning. Maximize the number of attacks they have to avoid.

The verse has a number of weaknesses.

Many of the characters are apathetic, or lack focus in combat, focusing more on their obsessions of things like sex, sweets or rrrrrrrrrrrules. Meaning that a clever manipulator or someone who can otherwise exploit their lack of focus and willpower can get a decisive advantage.

Angelic Weapons in the series can not kill non-magical entities, though this is not especially gonna be my focus as the Demons Weapons can do so just fine so it's only a partial counter.

In addition many of the characters are reliant on physical weapons, meaning ways of disarming them would likely be heavily effective.

So who would do well?

Mirror Master from DC would probably do very well, assuming he doesn't get arrogant.

Mirror Master can sit in the mirror dimension basically safe from harm. From there he has access to all Earth's reflective surfaces in every universe, meaning he could trap the P&S cast in other dimensions when mostly there is not much inter-dimensional capacity in P&S. As the mirror dimension seems to exist outside spacetime, this protects him from probability manipulation. He can also create extremely good illusions, exploiting the characters obsessions by showing them illusions of what they want and then trapping them.

He also knows hypnosis, something which not only has no resistance feats in verse, but something which has actually worked on Panty and Stocking before briefly.

Mirror Master also has the ability to create hundreds of clones, making him far able to outnumber his opponents. While his physical strength is far below the durability of most of the cast, he can convert them to glass with his mirror gun and shatter them, and even if P&S verse can regenerate from that, which is arguable, Mirror Master could convert them to glass and then melt them so that they atomize.

The only possibility for the P&S verse is if Mirror Master becomes arrogant and or if their probability manipulation is strong enough to spontaneously open a wormhole to the mirror dimension however they have no feats of probability manipulation on this level. Even if they did enter, it's very possible he could stop them given his duplication ability, his illusion ability, his mirror gun, and his extremely high reflexes.

This could be sort of seen as avoiding the question however since Mirror Master would primarily win by not directly facing them, and would not apply if they start in the same dimension. I don't agree with this, especially given that I do think Mirror Master could very well stop them even in the same dimension as mentioned above but if you want someone who can fight them more conventionally...

I think Lucy Heartfilia could probably do it.

She fits well within the general stat range of P&S, being generally stronger but not stronger then the tier they are in, allowing her to have a power advantage without breaking the rules, and similarly with speeds.

She is noted as a powerful summoner by her ability to summon multiple gold key spirits at one time, which would aid her in overcoming the probability manipulation of the P&S verse. The Sagittarius and Virgo Celestial Spirits with either arrow or chain could likely disarm the P&S verse fighters of their weapons, especially the melee ones before they get the chance. Even more notable, The Aries Celestial Spirit was noted as creating wool that lulls and weakens resolve to fight. Given the apathetic nature of the many P&S verse characters, this would likely be extra effective.

Lucy also theoretically use the Gemini Celestial Spirit to mimic the Angels natural luck ability and/or the demon's natural bad luck ability, possibly at one time!

Lucy is also a lot smarter and more dedicated then Most of the P&S cast, being considered possibly one of the smartest members of the FT guild, even managing to solve a puzzle that Levy was unable too.

Her ability to summon numerous spirits at once would give her a massive versatility advantage against any one fighter in the verse and the invisibility of the verse would not be able to beat her as she has the ability to sense magic.

On a somewhat similar basis we have

Narset the Enlightened Master who would have a similar tactic.

As a Post-Awakening planeswalker, she should be similar in power to Jace Beleren who turned the Halimar Sea into mist and moved comparable to natural lightning. She has access to white mana, blue mana, and potentially red mana given her alternate universe counterpart was White/Blue/Red which is the exact perfect combination for this matchup.

Blue Mana is the mana of manipulating time as well as things like telekinesis which would potentially give resistance to probability manipulation as well as casually disarming them. White Mana allows for the summoning of massive armies and dimensional bfr meaning she could overwhelm them with armies and bfr them. This means she would be able to casually overwhelm them, one shot them into other dimensions, potentially avoid their biggest defense, and remove their form of offense.

If she had red mana, it would be even better as red mana is the chaos energy and governs probability manipulation meaning she could likely counter their probability manipulation directly.

Narset is also highly intelligent and wise, as well as focused, and could manipulate them. She also can has clairvoyance and can see their weakness as well as use blue mana to create illusions to trick them.

Narset has an offense that would work perfectly, a defense that would possibly work perfectly, and can rid her opponents of their options as well as directly attack them.

However while this counter does seem perfect, it could theoretically lose. There's another character who I think would be an even more perfect counter. A character much weaker then the P&S verse but could do immense damage. That character is

Flowey the Flower.

Flowey in a direct fight is at a massive disadvantage due to being much weaker and slower.

Except Flowey can come back everytime so long as he has more DETERMINATION. Would he have more determination then the P&S cast. Absolutely yes. Panty and Stocking can barely motivate themselves to finish a fight that last seconds on average and usually only do that through rage or Garterbelt yelling at them. Flowey would have infinite tries to beat them.

And that's just on a surface level analysis. Flowey can attack the soul meaning he can ignore the physical durability and his danmaku styled attacks can help avoid their luck manipulation, though if they do catch him, he can just do it again as many times as wanted until he hits their souls.

Flowey is also a cunning manipulator and would probably be able to manipulate the P&S cast into fighting with each other and making each other weak. It's not like it would be very hard, they regularly break out into fights anyway.

But what makes this really crazy? If Flowey gets 6 souls he becomes Omega Flowey and 6 he becomes Asriel both are way stronger then the entire P&S verse. Every ghost is a confirmed dead person's soul. You know how many of them there are. In "Les Diaboliques" Scanty and Kneesocks have a factory churning out hundreds of ghosts. This is even assuming the non-fighters like humans aren't around for him to take. In literally seconds Flowey could go from a fairly weak if hax flower to supreme god of the verse and there would be nothing that could stop him in that time.

Universe Tier:
So there's this ghost that it's unknown how P&S stopped if they even die. A Massive Ghost at the end of "Trans-Homers" that's a robot the size of a planet necessitating planetary energy and low relativistic speeds just from raw size.

The Other Gods, a massive phallic ghost representing I think the sins humanity make gods off, being called the ultimate ghost would be above this, and sure enough Angel Panty and Stocking couldn't harm the main body off.

Above even this is the God Tier of the verse, Judgement; mother of Panty and Stocking and overseer of Heaven and Earth. She also possess the ability to temporally bfr opponents as she did to Garterbelt, bestowed the curse upon Garterbelt showing she can bestow that power of regeneration, took away and gave again the power of Panty the Angel, showing she bestows the powers of the angels (it's unknown how many Angels there are, but there is a school of them in Heaven, meaning there's likely at least thousands, all of whom get their powers including natural luck manipulation from her).

As such to her beat basically requires all the abilities previously but also stats enough to survive her wrath and some way of not getting temporarily bfr-ed to death.

Now she does have a bit of weakness. She's absolutely enormous. She can step on the massive Other Gods Ghost and she dwarfs cities. This means actually hitting her opponents if human-sized is a bit like hitting a fly and it's unknown if she can concentrate her power on a single point. Having massive size is only really an advantage in really life if it gives better physical strength and durability, as well as reach. Someone with comparable power, toughness and range but smaller is actually at advantage. Unfortunately stealth which you would think work well with this size different might not work very well as Judgement seems to be aware across the universe as overseer of Heaven and Earth.

So for a relatively simple counter

I think Hekapoo from Star versus the Forces of Evil would be a good counter.

Her duplication ability would help in nullifying the luck ability of Judgement. She seems to be an ageless entity, and can only manipulate the variable time rate of different dimensions to return to different times if Judgement temporarly bfr-ed her.

Hekapoo also has an immensely higher known portal range compared to Judgement, as she can go anywhere in the infinite multiverse with her dimensional scissors while Judgement seems mostly limited to a single universe even though P&S DOES have a multiverse.

This means Hekapoo could simply portal in and out to attack Judgement at will, and hit her with attacks that would stagger Judgement, or outright slash through her with the scissors while Judgement would struggle to even hit Hekapoo who can easily dodge in and out of the universe, and even if Judgement does manage to hit her with her temporal bfr lightning, unless Hekapoo is transported into an area lethal to her like a black hole or the big bang, which Judgement has never shown, then Hekapoo could simply return easily. While Judgement can regenerate, Hekapoo's spatial scissors can literally spatially slice her parts into other dimensions to keep them from reforming. And again Hekapoo can duplicate herself, never risking her "main" self but simply overwhelming Judgement with duplicates.

It also helps that Hekapoo is a far more experienced fighter then Judgement, having served as a magical fighter on the High Commission for an unspecified but seemingly long time.

For a more complex counter

Clockwork from Danny Phantom would be a good counter.

Clockwork exists outside of spacetime naturally meaning that probability manipulation wouldn't affect him.

While Clockwork is weaker in terms of raw power then Judgement, Clockwork has multiversal range keeping him from ever needing to engage Judgement until he has a chance when she can't react, or literally can't if he just freezes time something she has no known resistance too. Perhaps then you could say how could he damage her since he can't possess her as normal P&S verse ghosts wouldn't be able too despite having possession.

Well Clockwork can create portals through spacetime, and could reverse the tables by bfring Judgement to the end of time. Also, Early Danny Phantom was able to use his intangibility to enter a video game, and was also able to enter a dream. It's possibly Clockwork could use his own intangibility to seal Judgement inside something like this. And Clockwork very likely could turn Judgement intangible despite size given the season 3 finale shows that ghosts can each turn a large section of the Earth invisible.

Beyond that Clockwork has summoning abilities able to summon powerful ghosts and even duplicate meaning he would able to sheer overnumber overwhelm Judgement.

He also has yet another counter to probability manipulation in that he also is aware of all possible permutations of what might happen, describing it as like seeing a parade from above rather then from the side. Because of that, he can maximize probability by following the most advantageous reality.

However for a more direct combat counter

I think Naruto would do really well.

It's partly due to the famous shadow clone technique which allows Naruto to make THOUSANDS of himself. Remember the duplication that was notable up till now, of making 4 of oneself? Naruto can do that on a much more massive level and they can all fire Rasengan that even if they weren't the Rasen-shuriken which would cut through Judgement, they would just blow up up the entire area she's in many many times over. However the Rasen-shuriken, Naruto's iconic and biggest attack would be the perfect weapon to use on Judgement as it cuts on the cellular level, which would keep Judgement from regenerating since P&S verse regen only works at a dust level. Naruto's power is also stronger then Judgement without going over the power limit.

In Sage Mode Naruto can also analyze the negative emotions of his opponents, which would give him perfect knowledge of when Judgement was going to use her time-bfr lightning and allow him to dodge it or use substitution jutsu to avoid the attack. And while in Naruto is in Six Paths Sage Mode, Naruto has inter-dimensional sensory capacities as well as sealing abilities which is potentially a one-hit ko.

Also even if Judgement was going to hit, not only could she likely not put in enough force to damage him faster the his own healing factor, fast enough to regen his own lung before he dies after it was taken out of him (during part 1) though Kyuubi chakra could heal him making him basically invulnerable to raw force. While Judgement's probability manipulation would work on him, the sheer number of clones, as well as the number of summons he can make could probably overwhelm that. While Naruto's summons aren't as strong as him, the frogs can create illusions and warp the mind something again Judgement has no resistance too.

And even if Judgement's lightning was going to hit Naruto, Kyuubi can act independently to protect him by moving him out of the way, or create a charka blast to nullify it (As kyuubi chakra can absorb natural energy like that of lightning).

However the best counter I can find is essentially a combination of all these tactics, for the most part.

Yhwach from Bleach I think would be the best counter to the P&S verse. Like Naruto he has stats on Judgement without going over the stat limit.

First off, the Almighty is the perfect counter to probability manipulation like luck as it allows him to explicitly choose the best reality to observe and make reality. That along would give him a good argument to win however there's a lot more. The Almighty can negate regeneration even against Orihime's ability meaning he can outright negate the regen of Judgement.

Yhwach can also teleport and travel between dimensions as well as forcefully close dimensional portals. He can also influence and attack through dimensions as his presence was doing damage on all 3 worlds which can make him invulnerability to Judgement while he can attack her with pretty much no problem.

Yhwach can also manipulate minds as Heilig Pfeil to cause fear and he can also use the Wind to bend space to potentially send Judgement's attacks back at her.

Yhwach also has a regen factor as good or better then Judgement yet Judgement doesn't have any way to brute force Yhwach unlike the inverse.

Yhwach is a far far more experienced fighter and even more so strategist and also seems to be undying from age meaning he could simply manipulate events so that over centuries he can put Judgement in a dangerous position.

Basically Yhwach is comically more versatile as well as way more haxed and has perfect counters to everything Judgement can do.

And that's how to be OP in Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt-verse
