Cthulhu Mythos-verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in The Cthulhu Mythos

Local to Planetary Scale Threat:

This is the tier of the general alien races that inhabit the main universe of the Lovecraft Mythos, mostly having come from another universe.

In terms of power most of the alien species scale to the Star Spawn of Cthulhu who could withstand the heat of living within a Star, requiring high end multi-city block level durability who did battle against the Shoggoths. This is consistent for the Shoggoths' masters the Elder Things have mastered the power of the atom which should allow for nuclear weapons in the town to city range. There also exists in the Dreamlands living mountains described as hundreds of feet tall which would likely require town to city level power. Overall most of the alien races are multi-city block level+ with the strongest being town to city level.

In terms of speed this tiers get very fast for it's tier. The Mi-Go were able to quickly travel between Earth and Pluto requiring speeds hundreds that of light at least. The Flying Polps were able to come from an immeasurable distant universe though the timeframe of this event is unknown. Most notably the Star Spawn of Cthulhu were able to travel from the distant star system of Xoth, requiring speeds likely thousands to millions of times the speed of light. This suggests the verse's fighters in reaction speeds would all be atleast thousands to millions, possibly as high as quadrillions or quintillions of times the speed of light (depending on timeframe for Flying Polps).

Some of the fighters aren't the max stats but these are the maxium for the tier so I will use those as limits.

Long before the age of man, the Elder Things came to Earth and with their advanced intellects and technology created all the species of Earth, for the Elder Things had control over the atom and could form new lifeforms from it.  The Elder Things can fly and have hypnotic control, which they used to control their minions the Shoggoths they created to fight for them.

The Shoggoths are an incredibly disturbing race whose mass shifts and changes. They are known for their rapid change and evolution to the point of developing minds to rebel against their creators the Elder Things.

Numerous species waged wars against the Elder Things and the Shoggoths in the prehistory of Earth and the Universe. One of these was the Mi-Go, a fungi-like alien species that can duplicate over time via spores, fly through the cosmos and are made of some strange matter that can not be picked by technology as their body does not reflect light in the same way as normal entities. Another was the Star-Spawn of Cthulhu, a species that came from within the stars, a plasma-like lifeforms whose true selves reside in a deeper non-physical universe. These species were relative in intelligence to the Elder Things who had attained mastery over the atom.

The Elder Things also warred with the Great Race of Yith who are far more intelligent then these, for they have knowledge of all things in the universe. The Great Race of Yith are known for projecting their counciousness across time to any entity in the past of future, possessing them, as a way to avoid death. They experience no pain, and their technology includes their famed lightning guns which project electricity and some device which wipes memories.

Their enemies are the Great Flying Polyps. Lacking all normal senses and instead experiencing the world as a series of mental impressions, their minds are so warped and non-understandable that even the Great Race of Yith can not possess them and indeed the Polyps caused the Yithians great mental anguish. They flash in and out of visibility though despite their flight they leave strange 5-pronged "footprints" wherever they go, and are only partly material making them immune to most conventional harm. They are known appearing on a powerful wind current with a distressing whistle sound.

Beyond these there are numerous other monsterosities hiding in the gaps in man's perception. The colour out of space is a living colour from out of space that infects and corrodes living beings using them as a vessel to transmit and spread, absorbing their essence. From a lower reality then humans are the dimensional shamblers, monsterosities from lower planes who can hypnotize humans, showing them distressing confusing images of their lower reality and if they do not have the willpower to resist, consuming them; body, mind and soul. The halfbreed of Yog-Sothoth and man is the famed Dunwhich Horror, a giant invisible creature that exists outside of the normal physical laws of the universe existing in a higher plane of reality, whose cries cause pain and madness and who can summon the Great Old Ones depending on his area.

In the dreamland there exists more and strange creatures including the strange moon-beasts who can control their "bodies" freely and the living mountains who appear like wolves and who make no sound whatsoever. This is the world of the Satyr-like men of Leng.

Perhaps strongest are the Hounds of Tindalos who can pursue any target across time, exists outside time, is immune to force and matter, and can appear in any degree up to 120 degrees. They can also use poison and smoke and can absorb energy.

A lot of the characters in the tier have a weakness of some sort, like the Flying Polyp's weakness to electricity which prompted the Great Race of Yith to take up their lightning guns, but it would be hard for one character to have all of the weaknesses.

Intangibility seems to be strong in the verse, which is why the Elder Things had difficulty battling the Star-Spawn's whose true selves are intangible and needed the Shoggoths. The Shoggoths and possibly the Polyps have the ability to affect intangible entities physically. Outside that only Dimensional Shamblers soul consumption, the madness inducing sight of the Dunwhich Horror, and the trans-time mental projection of the Great Race of Yith would be able to affect a non physical entity. A being higher then mental would be essentially invulnerable.

Speaking of the Great Race of Yith, their ability to possess people across time requires some response. Being mindless or having an incredibly warped mind might be able to do it like the Polyps did, but that would just cause them to flee through time and is rather limiting. A stronger tactic albeit a rather limiting one would be to exist outside spacetime.

But general spacetime manipulation would probably be strong and allow exploitation of many of the weaknesses of various alien races in the verse. A character on this tier may not be able to make the stars not right for the Star-Spawn but they could hypothetically bring them to a time when the stars weren't or won't be right. The Hounds of Tindalos can be stopped by a perfectly spherical space as they can travel in angles up to 120 degrees. If time is frozen or reversed this would likely mess up the Hounds of Tindalos and The Great Race of Yith's ability to move backwards. Replicating the atmosphere of Earth with space manipulation can weaken both the Flying Polyps and the Mi-Go both of which were weaker in Earth's atmosphere. Spacetime manipulation also has the added benefit of being able to counter potentially the cosmic speed of the tier.

So a character that exists outside spacetime and is a non-physical entity? Well one good counter with those traits would be

Drosselmeyer from Princess Tutu

Drosselmeyer's power created the Raven, a being who dwarfed a town suggesting it would be relative in size and power to the Mountains of Dreamland, and Drosselmeyer created them casually. His speed is massively lower however this is essentially irrelevant as Drosselmeyer is an astral plane entity existing outside spacetime and can exist in numerous places in spacetime at once.

Drosselmeyer is a really hax entity with town+ scale plot manipulation who would be able to manipulate the plot to exploit each weakness that exists in the tier, as well as change the plot to cause the very alien species to lose. The Great Race of Yith would not be able to percieve him and he could manipulate the plot so they could get caught up by the Flying Polyps. His willpower was so strong he could come back from death, showing that the Dimensional Shamblers would do nothing to him, even if they did catch up to him. He can also casually bfr enemies into his puppet dimension without spacetime and where anyone is a puppet to him. Being outside spacetime would mess up the Hounds of Tindalos even if he couldn't just plot manipulate them to moving inside of a spherical room. It also helps that Drosselmeyer's personal chamber outside spacetime is filled with mirrors he looks into to see the physical world, which are all 180 degrees that the Hounds of Tindalos would definitely not be able to go through.

The only real threat would be Drosselmeyer's personality. Drosselmeyer can't resist a good story and loves tragedies. It's possible he would let the alien species of the verse go on and create and more and more tragedies. While most of them would not be any threat to him, the Dunwhich Horror due to his descent from Yog-Sothoth himself, could potentially affect Drosselmeyer or summon a being far stronger then Drosselemeyer. For a more efficient counter you could use

Ultear Milkovich from Fairy Tail

Ultear is signifigantly stronger then Zancrow who creeated megatons of damage with his Flame God Bellow suggest she would be relative to the top tiers of the tier. She is also a specter of time existing outside of time and tracks though who move through time almost exactly like a Hound of Tindalos though without the restrictions. Also if she were to fight them, or the Great Race of Yith she can resist time hax as shown by her being able to resist the hax of the God of Time Chronos.

Her Arc of Time also allows her to change the flow of a person's timeline, which could be used to time hax most of the verse, regressing a Shoggoth to mindlessness before it developed a brain, or progressing a Star Spawn to the point where the stars were not right for them. With her origin release magic she can specifically reduce beings to the weakest they've ever been, which would do something similar.

She can also duplicate herself with her abilities by summoning alternate timeline versions of herself, allowing her to fight against whole species if needed. And while the Yithians would not be able to possess her she can actually possess people which is what made them strong.

That said she may have difficult fighting inter-stellar civilizations and some of the haxes of the verse could still potentially affect her. While she would be really strong against any one or small group of characters, she wouldn't be able to super control the verse at this tier just due to size. The ideal counter for this tier would be

Danny the Street from DC Comics

Danny is a living city block that can teleport around at will and who provides a home for anyone who needs one.

Most of the verse's fighters do not have the area of effect to hit an entire city block at once. Moreover, Danny can simply use his massive spatial manipulation. Danny's spatial manipulation is so good that he can create an infinite space within himself if he needs to house infinite people. He could simply teleport in and trap people inside him. The Hounds of Tindalos could be trapped inside of a spherical space within him. The Yithians couldn't possess the flying polyps, it's unlikely that they could possess the abstract mind of a living city block.

Even ignoring that though, Danny can turn into Danny the Ambulance which can save people by always moving fast enough to protect people, even if that involves going back in time or moving a conceptual distance like when he was able to rescue Crazy Jane from Hell or transport Dorothy from the Dreaming. He was also able to move backwards in time much like the Hounds of Tindalos to protect against Milkman Man. He also has creation abilities as within are Danny Comics which can create fictional comic characters which exist in the Dreaming that Danny himself can go to rescue and bring with him. While this would be an NLF (it likely depends on the amount of people he is housing at the moment), it should be versatile enough to create things that could exploit the weaknesses of the tier.

Danny the Street is a character who is motivated personally by the protection of the vulnerable, and whose powers conceptually function on that level, and in a verse as dark as the Cthulhu Mythos, where entire species are regularly in need, Danny would be able to travel infinitely fast across the universes, into the Dreamlands or into the depths of time and bfr-ing any enemy that would seek to threaten the people within him.

Planetary to Universal Scale Threat:

Existing since long before the thing we understand as the universe were the Great Old Ones, the ancient race whom the lesser races take to worshipping as deities. The Great Old Ones in their ancient wisdom have come to spy dimly the great and terrible forces ruling over existence.

Even a lesser member of the Great Old Ones, the frog-like Ythogtha had fingertips the size of mountains nearly 3 kilometers long, suggesting his size and power would be within the country scale. Another of their kind, Great Cthulhu did survive the sinking of Rlyeh, the total energy of would be in the continental scale. Even taking a small portion of this energy would require country level durability and Cthulhu likely took much more for he is massive such that his form rises above the waves while he is standing on the seafloor bottom.

Amoung their numbers is Atlach-Nach the Spider "Deity" who weaves a web between the physical universe and dreamlands, two seperate deities. Conservatively this would be trillions of times the speed of light and likely quadillions or quintillions of times the speed of light.

The Great Old Ones powers are immense. They knew all things happening in the universe, showing the power of their telepathy. They have existed for Vigitillions of years, a timeframe so immense we seriously can not understand it showing a cosmic level of experience. Mortals who have experienced the Great Old Ones go mad or die afterwards from fright or mysterious circumstances showing their power to affect lesser minds; causing madness, fear to the point of death, or death by other means. They exist in a deeper universe beyond matter, and so any damage to their bodies will not truly defeat them, indeed they shall outlast the physical universe and death itself.

They also possess numerous individuals powers, often controlling the forces of the world. Great Cthulhu is the most famous of their kind. Cthulhu's sleeping presence was enough to mentally affect people across the world, giving them horrid esoteric dreams and driving the most sensitive of their types mad. When he was awake, the humans who looked upon him were mostly driven mad or died. Great Cthulhu also formed the Great City of R'lyeh likely with some form of reality warping and spatially warped it into higher dimensions such that the geometry of the city was impossible.

His father Dagon is a shapeshifting sea creature who controls all sea life. The spider Atlach-Nach creates metaphysical webs to create a bridge between the universe and the Dreamlands. Horrific Ghatanothoa causes paralysis to all who see it and Gol-Goroth shifts into the worst fear of whomever sees it.

Jub-Shabb is a magical ball of pure energy which makes it particularly difficult to hurt. The "God of the Red Flux" worshipped in Central Africa turns people into voodoo zombie minions and Quachil Uttaus decays all biological matter near it until they become dust.

In terms of strategies I think the most obvious one is to keep one's distance. Getting close to Uttaus will decay anything made of biological matter. That said one needs range above planetary to avoid most of the Great Old Ones' effective range and inter-universal to avoid the telepathic awareness of the Great Old Ones.

Beyond that a lot of the same strategies of the last tier would work; higher plane entities and existing outside spacetime. It should also be noted that the Great Old Ones, especially Cthulhu are noted to go into incredibly long periods of a deathlike sleep suggesting sleep manipulation would be effective even if death manipulation would not be. Also they seem to rely on the stars being right. Cthulhu's awareness was blocked by some primeval mystery of Earth's atmosphere and the position of the stars.

Generally the best position is trying to nullify the threat of the Great Old Ones by attacking from a higher plane entity outside their gaze, sealing them away or sending them back to sleep with sleep manipulation and time. Staying outside their awareness also helps their disproportionatly fast speeds. My first counter would actually not just be able to stay out of their awareness but actually match their speeds, that being

Mayura Seno from Alice 19th

Mayura's power is not as strong as the Great Old Ones, though she was fast enough to match the Lotis Masters who could quickly move around to the center of the Heart, an Astral Universe and match the speeds of Dalvia's darkness which can quickly encompass the heart which is again it's own universe.

Inside the heart, Mayura would be invisible especially if she used the Maram Word to disappear into the darkness of the heart Veeta. Mayura can exist within the dimension of the heart, the dimensions representing the individuals emotions. Because of the Great Old Ones' telepathic influence on people across the world, the hearts of each humans would be connected to the Great Old Ones from which she can attack.

And attack she can. Muduro can curse, causing a negative effect if the conditions are met. It would be fairly easy to curse the Great Old Ones to fall asleep again if they awaken or if the stars are right. She could effectively change when the stars are right. She has Matsu which can brainwash thousands of people which is a more direct mind hax then the Great Old Ones possess. The biological ones of the Great Old Ones could be affected by Byoma which infects with an astral sickness. Most powerful would be Rajika which puts people into a deathly sleep which is exactly what can stop the Great Old Ones. She also has Ramito which seems to revert an entity to when they were weakest which would have the same effect.

The only threats to Mayura would be that the hearts of the Great Old Ones would be so warped as to cause her insanity or that the Dream Spider Atlach-Nach would be able to affect her despite her existing within the heart. For a character Atlach-Nach would not be able to affect you could use

Kezef the Chaos Hound from Dungeons and Dragons

Kezef the Chaos Hound scales to Father Lyrmic who was able to freeze the world taking country level energy. While Kezef is much slower, it is irrelevant as he is an abstraction of pure hatred. Kezef would be functionally immune to any of the tier's fighters.

Kezef is most well known for passively nullifying powers, even the powers of the Gods like Tyr whose hand would not regenerate after he bit it off. As the Gods are also abstractions, Kezef can clearly hit intangibles and would easily be able to kill the Great Old One's true selves.

Kezef is also known for controlling chaos and probability which would make it incredibly difficult for them to hurt him, and even trying to run away wouldn't work as Kezef can teleport to any place in the multiverse.

The only risks to Kezef would be that his natural corruption aura would turn one of the Great Old Ones into something that could threaten him or that Cthulhu would be able to spatially trap Kezef into a higher dimension, which likely wouldn't work but could possibly.

For the best counter to this verse, one who literally could not lose no matter what, that being

Jill Presto from DC Comics

Jill Presto is the vessel of the Basanos who manipulate the Fate of the entirety of DC Comics. If any would would be done to her, it is immediatly undone. She as a supernatural luck that means the Great Old Ones trying to do anything to her, is more likely to harm them then her.

She might be massively weaker in terms of her stats, but she doesn't really use her stats in particular, as her ability is usage of the Basanos to see every single possiblity of something. With this she can cause any possible death to occur to someone, including every single possible death at once.

The Great Old Ones will outlast death for they are older and more fundamental then the universe. But Jill Presto can see them in every single universe at once, and kill them in every possible way in every single possibility at once. Every single universe where the Great Old Ones are reduced to deathlike sleep would occur at once, permenantly incapacitating all of them.

Universal to Multiversal Scale Threat:

Beyond this simple universe we humans know, there exists realities far more fundamental and terrifying. Here resides the archetypes, the basic forms from which our universe is formed. The fragment of a single human beyond the gate was able to survive the emanation of Yog-Sothoth speaking at him, which was like the destruction of universes.

Here resides the slave races of the Outer Gods, including the Hunting Horrors of Nyarlathotep who chased Randolf Carter across infinite voids as universes were born and died around them. This is often used as a multiversal feat though the wording does not make me thinh it is as they were chasing him through time, as the great cosmic events occured around them. Also because of surface area it would be much dimished. What it does is show is infinite speed.

So any counter is going to need some counter to literally infinite speed as well as fighting conceptual entities like the Archetypes, each of which having a domain over some aspect of nature, most famously of these being Hypnos, God of Dreams.

These are the Elder Gods, the Gods of Man who are insignifigant to the Outer Gods just as man's understanding of the cosmos is insignifigant to the greater cosmos. The strongest of the Great Old Ones would likely be here as well.

Of the slave races, two are most well known those beings the Hunting Horrors and the Nightgaunts.

The Hunting Horrors are shapeshifting monsters of darkness that pursue the will of the Dread Pharaoh Nyarlathotep. They are weak to incredibly intense lights. The others are their mortal enemies the Nightgaunts, of the Dreamlands. The Nightgaunts are a flying dream race known for their mind-reading and their....tickling ability. The Nightgaunts tickle enemies into submission. So that's something.

So what would be good here? Well you can't rely on existing outside spacetime as most of the entities here do, and conceptual is a pretty high plane to fight. The one good thing is most of the characters on this tier are fairly simple both in terms of powerset and mindset the slave races being nigh unthinking and the Elder Gods being arrogant and not knowing their place in the cosmos. As such if you can somehow counter the infinite speed and conceptual entities of the plane, someone with decent versatility and a good thinker will likely be able to win. This brings me to my first counter who is famous for both of those, that being

Sun Wukong after attaining Buddhahood from The Journey to the West.

As a Buddha Sun Wukong's palm is the whole universe. He also is much faster then his weaker self who could leap to the edge of infinity showing infinite speed.

Sun Wukong is incredibly versatile, able to duplicate himself once for each hair on his body, which given his incredible size and omnipresnce after attaining Buddhahood would be an almost countless amount. He is 5-fold immortal at least which would be nigh impossible for anyone on the tier to kill.

As a Buddha, Sun Wukong has transcended over most concepts, being the cosmos itself. He was also infamous for his incredible manipulative ability even before becoming a Buddha and becoming nigh-omniscient.

He can also seal enemies as Buddha did to him which he could likely do to the archetypes.

The only threats would be if his sealing doesn't work on the archetypes, he doesn't have much else which could affect a conceptual. For a counter that can more clearly affect a conceptual you could use

God of Death Flash from DC Comics.

When Barry and the Black Racer merged they were able to strike through an emanation of Darkseid which was casually destroying universes. Barry can reach infinite speeds able to reach the speedforce which is conceptual levels of speed as can the Black Racer. Black Racer is naturally a concept which shows he could affect concepts like the Archetypes.

Flash has numerous abilities that would absolutely tear through the tier if he can affect them. He can energy-drain on a multiversal scale, he can speedforce dump which none of the tier would be able to escape from outside maybe the Elder Gods. He also combines the superintellect of a New God with Barry's scientific knowledge of the speedforce.

Speedforce BFR would be especially damaging to the Hunting Horrors since it's where all kinetic energy, including all light the movement of photons, originate. His connection to the speedforce also allows him to nullify kinetic energy and it's aftereffects including scientifically tickling. He can also freeze time which the tier doesn't seem to have, though it's arguable if it would work as they exist outside physical spacetime and it's unknown if the Black Racer's time stop works past the physical.

However he could still be affected and outnumbered by the tier. For a character who I think that would not be a threat, you could use

Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes.

Bugs Bunny might not have infinite physical speed, but he has meta speed able to exit the page he's on and take metafictional control over the universe. He would need to be stopped immediatly or no one in the verse would be able to affect him. However Bugs is seemingly a normal rabbit that would not get the verse's attention immediatly, and even if they did Bugs is a famously good manipulator who would simply trick them.

Bugs Bunny also has toon regen meaning he can come back so long as people laugh at his cartoon, something the tier would have no way of realizing before Bugs plot haxed them. Bugs in general is massively more versatile and intelligent then the tier, and would manipulate them easily.

He would also be immune to almost anything they could do as he has a supernatural luck, a rabbit luck so strong it even causes bad luck to other lucky rabbits like the Grim Rabbit. He's also acausal on a meta scale as he scales Wily E Coyote who was unaffected by having a page of his story erased.

Also Bugs can also time stop but he can do it on a metafictional level which would definitely work on the tier, pausing the animation.

Bugs in general is just massively too versatile and intelligent for the tier when combined with his plot hax and ability to exist concepts like the Archetypes.

Omniversal Scale Threat:

Outside all space and time, past being and reality is the court of Azathoth.

There exists the formless entities, beings beyond all human comprehension, transcending the archetypes and all concepts humans could possibly recognize, the Outer Gods, whom all reality is formed from. The strongest of the Elder Gods are at the bottom of this tier as Nodens who is usually assumed to be of their kind is mortal enemy of Nyarlathotep.

Trascending all concepts, normal conceptual manipulation and lower forms of manipulation would do nothing to the formless forms of being of the Outer Gods. Such things as power and speed are transcended by them and are so made irrelevant.

Weakest of their kind is Nyarlathotep, the crawling chaos, known for his sadistic games he plays with the mortal enemies, he is the soul and messanger of the Outer Gods. He is the Black Pharaoh who spreads chaos past even the conceptual plane.

Most of their kind is unknown even in part by mortals for they are infinite in number just as they are in power. Because of this as well much is not known about many of their members.

Nearing the top of their hierachy if Shub-Niggurath, Ia Ia The Black Goat of a thousand young. Primeval Goddess of Life, Shub-Niggurath spreads her brood, the black young across the multiverse, mutating lesser lifeforms into monsterous forms to aid their survival. She is the hyper concept of life itself, propogating infinitely in mutant form, arguably the spiritual plane itself.

The one who mated with her, potentially the greatest of the Outer Gods is Yog-Sothoth, the Supreme Archetype, from whom all concepts and forms are derived. He is the all knowing source of all being and and all the patterns and forms and concepts of reality. All things that have intelligence are but aspects of Yog-Sothoth, for he is arguably the conceptual plane itself, the source of all concepts and ideas and perspectives and patterns and forms. He knows all for all knowledge is part of him. He is the Gate and the Key, he is the all in one and the one in all, the encompassinging of all reality.

However it is argued whether he is supreme for outside all reality the Court plays infinitely and eternally music. The unspeakable darkness before being and the nameless mist that is the limit to understanding both speak to their shared parent the Lord of All, the nuclear chaos at the center of being, Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God. Azathoth sleeps in the center of creation dreaming of terrible things he can't understand, giving in his dreams each universe it's fragile laws. The court of Azathoth keeps him asleep for if he awakes all things shall be Azathoth again.

So how to counter that? Well any counter is neccesarily going to need absolute plane hax as any conceptual hax will not affect beings transcendent of concepts, no form can fit the formless entities beyond formed reality.

Even beyond that, one will face an infinite variety of Outer Gods with each having their own meta-conceptual haxes.

Some thing Azathoth is strongest being in all of fiction because he transcends so many infinities above so many infinities etc. However with beings transcend over the very concept of infinity and of the concept of power such things seem irrelevant to me.

The biggest way of beating the verse seems to be exploiting the nature of all reality being a part of Azathoth in some sense. This brings me to my first counter

The Law of Identity from Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao

The Law of Identity is a metafictional being that transcends over concepts. She has two notable abilities that would make her incredibly powerful in the Cthulhu Mythos

She is the Law of Identity, the first law of logic that states A=A. As such she has manipulation over that fact and as the Cthulhu Mythos is the dream of Azathoth, would be able to reduce them all to their identities as just Azathoth's dream returning existince to Azathoth as though he had woken up.

She also has an absolute form of plot manipulation which makes her the top of all hierarchies of stories which allows her to transcend any story and view it as fiction. Azathoth the simple dreamer, would be reduced to nothing more then a story from her perspective. The Cthulhu Mythos doesn't seem to have any metafictional hax or hax defense.

It is somewhat ambigious how exactly this would work, so if you don't think it would work, you could use

Lambdadelta from Umineko

Lambdadelta along with her adversary Beatrice had ascended to the higher level of the hierarchy of witches, transcending all concepts and fighting on a high meta level. The Basic attacks of Witches, the Red and Blue Truths are a form of metahax that would likely work on the Cthulhu Mythos. Even the basic magic of Witches are absolute.

Her basic nature as a Voyager Witch means her being would be protect so long as her metafictional representation can't be argued against properly. For Lambaddelta this is that "hard workers are rewarded" something that the Outer Gods who are used to simply transcending everything else and not being able to fight beings far stronger would not be able to properly understand as it is a rule that does not function in their reality.

She also has a form of absolute sealing that could even work on Beatrice suggesting she could seal even the Outer Gods. She has a meta regen that works even if she is dissolved into the sea of void beyond all stories and could simply return by thinking though she was formless nothingness.

That said she is suspectible to losing her magic if she loses faith in herself or is traumatized which could very well happen given her opponents here, similar to what happened to Hypnos. For the perfect counter in my opinion I would suggest

Dream of the Endless from DC Comics

Dream is the Dreaming itself, which contains the collective consciousness which is an infinite hyperstory above all concepts. This is consistent as Dream can exit all creation guarded by the Source Wall when not even a Sixth World being like Perpetua can do, far above the concepts of the Fourth World. Dream is one of the primal aspects making up all of existence, far above conceptual existence.

Dream counters for a very simple reason, in the complete Dream Reality of Azathoth he would be nigh omnipotent. He could solo everyone but Azathoh simply by using his ability to cause a being to wake up from an infinite layer of dreams, meaning they would experience horrible nightmares and wake up infinite times always being alsleep. This would cause Azathoth, the blind idiot god to experience awakening infinite times, always eternally not understanding what he sees as is his character. It would also cause everyone else in the verse to die infinitely.

Dream is canonically in charge of the dreams of the Eldritch Horrors in one aspect who keeps beings like Azathoth asleep. If he was rushed by infinite Outer Gods he can simply summon infinite of himself as he has done.

Dream of the Endless even has plot manipulation as all stories, including the story he is written on are part of the Dreaming and all stories are dreams, meaning he could control the narrative itself to control the Outer Gods.

Dream of the Endless would be able to reign omnipotent in the Cthulhu Mythos, endlessly controlling the Blind Idiot God.

How they compare: Vlad Plasmius (Danny Phantom)

Vlad Masters was a normal college student who in colloboration with his best friend Jack Fenton and his love interest Maddie. The three worked together on a portal to the ghost zone, a metaphysical realm connected to the physical universe like the other side of a coin. However due to an unfortunate accident caused by Jack the portal activated while Vlad was examining it causing a burst of ectoplasmic energy to surge into his face, hospitalizing him and causing his face to be scarred with ecto-acne. This destroyed his social life and kept him from ever pursueing Maddie.

Jack and Maddie got married and had 2 children, which Vlad viewed as a betrayal and exaggerated his already boiling anger at Jack for what he had done. Unfortunately for them, and the whole world, the accident gave Vlad the ability to transform into a ghost state, which he dubbed "Vlad Plasmius". He would discover that the youngest child of Jack and Maddie, Daniel "Danny" Fenton was a similar half-ghost, the "Danny Phantom". Holding both love for the son of Maddie and hate for the son of Jack Fenton, Vlad would act as Danny's primary villain, sometimes reluctant ally as Vlad sought to humiliate Danny as he did to Danny's father, but also to try and win him over as his own son just as he tried to win over Danny's mother eventually reconciling these desires in his attempts in the third season to destroy the original Danny and replace him with a clone Danny who would be Vlad's "child".

Vlad as Vlad Plasmius is one of the strongest ghosts in the universe. He started the series massively stronger then Danny and even in season 3 could fight him well enough that with one hand he could equal a ghost ray from Danny using both hands. Vlad and Danny have both proven relative some of the strongest ghosts in the ghost zone including Vortex who could create a massively planetary storm, even a conservative interpretation taking trillions of tons of tnt. They were also both relative to the Fright Knight who could perform a similar feat.

This is consistent with how they are both notably stronger then ghosts like Skulker who created his ghost domain consisting of an entire island (and Vlad can easily intimidate into doing his bidding), and Spectre who survived the ghost peeler that can tear a normal ghost apart on the atomic scale.

It's possible Vlad is even more durable his attack power would suggest as he has taken hits from an angry Pariah Dark the Ghost King who by far and away the strongest ghost in the Ghost Zone, to the point that Danny even when multiplying his power by 100 could barely fight him.

In terms of speed Season 2 Danny was able to move comparable to Technus' Rays which casually moved from space down to Earth in seconds at speeds around 12 percent the speed of light. Vlad should be somewhere from slightly to signifigantly faster then this putting him at solidly relativistic.

Vlad has access to all the common ghost abilities. As a being made of ectoplasmic energy and counciousness, Vlad's body can interact weakly with matter allowing him to turn invisible shifting outside the visible spectrum of light, can pass through solid bodies without interference (intangibility). He can fly, and his body can hypotheticaly recover from being reduced to smoke, steam, or goo.

His body is made of ectoplasmic energy that can be controlled to shift his form or which can be imbued into objects to allow for telekinesis, weather control or energy constructs. Like most ghosts Vlad can also overshadow other people, a form of possession. Ghosts can use overshadowing to enter into the dreams of others or to enter into video games by possessing their data.

Vlad is known for several more advanced techniques developed over many years of practice and study. Vlad can duplicate himself, even dozens of times over to possess the votes of Amity to voting for him, though each individual body was weaker then he did this. He can teleport and he can absorb enemy energy and find it back to them.

More uniquely he has shown the ability to create miniture tornados with his ectoplasm and to charge lightning from his hand. He should also scale to lesser ghosts who erupted in a ghostly fire aura.

Vlad is also a skilled fighter honed over 20 years of practice with his powers and an underatedly insane supergenius intellect. Vlad, Jack and Maddie made a Ghost Zone Portal when they were in college. Vlad later built one completely by himself and arguably has more advanced tech then Jack and Maddie who also built one. For comparison the Guys in White who can create missiles powerful enough to destroy the entire universe sized Ghost Zone could not build one and had to resort to buying Jack and Maddie's. And this is something Vlad was arguably able to build decades ago. He compliments this with a keen strategic mind.

On the other hand, Vlad has numerous weaknesses. He has all the common ghost weaknesses to ectoranium, anti-ghost technology, blood blossoms, infrared vision etc. though Vlad can somewhat get around this by switching to his human form. Vlad also has a short-sighted impulsive possessiveness. He wants to own things and  when he can't he gets angry and short-sighted in pursuit of them. This when combined with his arrogance can cause him to bring himself to ruin as he several times caused a problem that could threaten all life on Earth that he thought he could stop that he couldn't.

Name: Vlad Plasmius, Vlad Masters, Vladdie, "Fruitloop"
Origin: Danny Phantom
Classification: Halfa (Human-Ghost Hybrid)
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Capacities, Body Control, Ectoplasmic energy control/constructs (can hit intangibles), Energy Projection, Elemental Projection (wind, fire, lightning, light), Flight, Intangibility, Invisibility, Possession (Arguably Spiritual Possession), Regen (At least High-Mid, possibly Low-Godly), Teleportation, Duplication, Energy Absorption/Redirection, Telekinesis, potentially Weather Control
Weakness: Anti-Ghost Abilities, Arrogance, can be stubbornly short-sighted in pursuit of what he wants
Destructive Capacity: Country Level
Range: At least hundreds of meters
Speed: Relativistic
Durability: Country Level
Stamina: Unknown, likely superhuman (body is made up of pure ectoplasmic energy)
Standard Equipment: Nothing Notable
Intelligence: Potentially High Metahuman to Low Superhuman Scientific Intellect (Vlad is signifigantly superior to the Men in White who can create Type 3 or 4 Kardeshev Scale technology), Clever and Strategic outside that

So how would he do in other verses?

In the Marvel-verse, Vlad Plasmius would be roughly the level of a Mid Meta level entitiy about as strong as the early Iron Man suits and corresponding heroes and villains similar in power like Namor and Torch, scaling from Iron Man violetly destroying a floating island with trillions of tons of tnt. He would be drastically above the Street Levels but below the Herald Level entities or the high Metas like Grey Hulk and most of the Fantastic Four in terms of stats.

Vlad's ghostly abilities would be pretty strong for his tier. There are individuals who can replicate some of his abilities like Shadowcat replicating his intangibility but the sheer versatility of intangibility, possession, duplication and regen would make his a credible threat.

It would also be very dangerous that he has such a powerful scientific intellect. Vlad's intellect was strong enough to honestly rival some of the big Marvel Intellects at least technologically. That said he would have to be cautious of trying to hack into AI as the super AI of the verse would be able to sense Vlad and potentially dimensional BFR him, which would be dangerous for Vlad since his powers are mostly dependent on his ectoplasm interacting with matter.

In the DC Comics-verse, Vlad would place really oddly. He would place above the City-Scale Heroes and Villains but below the Planetary Scale Heroes and Villains. Especially in speed there's not many characters around the same level as Vlad.

Vlad's spiritual regen and duplication could give him an extreme threat level quickly given the sheer preponderance of abilities but the verse is really good at protecting against spiritual threats with numerous spiritual entities inhabiting the Earth, and powerful mystics that can casually sense and banish any ghostly entity.

On the other hand Vlad's technological genius would be incredible in DC, one of the best on the DC Earth. He would do best stealing powerful tech and improving it to add to his natural ghost abilities same way he did to the Ecto-Skeleton.

In the Yu Yu Hakusho-verse, Vlad would place highly. Vlad's raw power would be roughly equivalent to a High A Tier to a Low S Tier in terms of power. This would make him incredibly powerful in the Human World, an S Tier being a force that Spirit World can't tell. That said even low S Tier entities are used as fodder in the armies of the Three Kings in Demon World. On the other hand, Vlad's speed would be the highest in the verse, as the verse only really scales to MHS, albeit much higher then baseline. Overall Vlad in terms of stats would probably be a Mid-ish S Tier in terms of stats, being High A to Low S Tier in terms of attack potency/durability but incredibly fast in speed.

Vlad's defensive hax wouldn't really do anything in the verse, as anti-intangibility and anti-invisiblity is everywhere in the verse, any spirit energy user can do it. On the other hand his offensive haxes would be incredibly strong in the verse. While the psychics abilities can be reasonable compared, Vlad's abilities are more versatile and instead of being a normal human, Vlad backs it up with his sheer stats. He's basically a Mid S Tier with hax on the level of the psychics but more versatile. While his tactical ability isn't quite as high as most tactical fighters in the verse like Yusuke and Hiei, and certainly not on the level of Kurama and Yomi, Vlad's scientific intellect is ridiculously high for the verse.

Vlad if he acts patiently would be a credible threat to the YYH-verse, though given his character he may doom the Earth trying to create a portal to the Demon World and allowing the Demons to invade the Human World and overwhelm him.

In Bleach Vlad would most comfortably fit somewhere between Lieutenant Tier and Captain Tier though within that range he would be somewhat inverted in his position compared to in YYH. Lieutenants can move comparable to negacion light which would put them at upper relativistic and would get blitzed by lower Espada who themselves can casually point blank light time suggesting they would be low ftl meaning that against the lieutenants Vlad would be several times slower and against the lower ranked Espada he would be an order of magnitude slower, the difference roughly between average human speed and peak human speed.

On the other hand, Lieutenants only scale to Fullbring Ichigo's casual feat of dispering a raincloud calced at gigaton range consistent with a weaker character performing a feat near 1 gigaton. This would only be about the same power as Skulker who Vlad can casually glare at and make him do what he wants. Lower Espada can use the Espada's gran rey cero which can destroy all of Las Noches which has been scaled to the size of small countries based on how walking to one gate takes 3 days. This would be similar to low teraton feats of planetary storm making which means Vlad while slower would have raw power equal to the lower Espada's ultimate attacks, possibly higher in terms of durability given that Vlad was able to survive Pariah Dark's attacks. Against a higher Espada however Vlad might be able to survive their normal attacks a bit but is massively outspeed and weaker in power.

Most of Vlad's abilities wouldn't be too broken for his tier in Bleach outside possibly duplication which can maybe help the speed gap though it would also weak him a bit which would lower his biggest advantage. He would alos deal with the verse's dimensional travel since he requires portals to do so and being BFR-ed really harms a DP-verse ghost. The only other ability that I think would be really helpful is his ability to move things telekinetically since he could hypothetically disarm an enemy Shinigami of their Zanpakto though given their super strength and how fast they're going that maybe easier said then done. Overall he'd be high Lieuteant to Captain Tier.

In the Ben 10 verse, Vlad would be strong, able to defeat some of the major powerhouses of the original series though would eventually get overwhelmed by the series increased speed meta. In the original series he would be an absolute MONSTER having power signifigantly superior to Four Arms (scales to the Great One's durability who can survive planetary explosions though surface area only makes this gigaton level) , speed signifigantly superior to XLR8 (who can run sub-relativistic speeds which is 1-10% the speed of light while Vlad scales to Technus ghost rays which were 12%), and with many of the same abilities that make Ghostfreak so broken.

However as Ben develops as a superhero, he also gains forms that would obviously stomp Vlad and some that could fight him relatively even. His default form, Feedback, would have an interesting fight against Vlad as if Vlad gets close, Feedback could absorb the energy making Vlad up but Vlad could possess Feedback if he can catch him off guard. Vlad can duplicate himself but with his sensory abilities Feedback would know where all the clones are at all times and is himself several times faster then base Vlad. Both can redirect each others attacks unless Feedback got a sufficiently powerful energy source to throw that Vlad couldn't absorb.

Vlad using his ghostly abilities and his incredible technical expertise could probably do well in the wider Ben 10 Universe, maintaing stealth with his human form as a disguise and using his intangible invisible counterpart to steal tech to incorporate, halfway between Malware and Zs'Skayr, the latter of which has taken over whole planets before and the former having been a primary antagonist. That said he wouldn't do well against a sufficiently powerful magic-user as their magic can affect Ectonurites and can even force them out of their host bodies as per "From Hedorium to Eternity".

Star System Level vs Multi-Stellar vs Low Galactic

You may notice that the OBD and vs battles wiki have two entirely seperate definitions on what qualifies as solar system level and galaxy level, OBD also having "Small Galaxy Level" while vs battles wiki also has "Multi-Solar System Level".

OBD's values (which is what I'm used to using)

Solar System Level: 5.709 Foe (1 Foe = 1 Supernova)
Small Galaxy Level: 10 KiloFoe
Galaxy Level: 10 GigaFoe

VS Battles wiki's values

Solar System Level: 22.77 Foe
Multi-Solar System Level: 20.08 TeraFoe
Galaxy Level: 10.53 ZettaFoe

You'll notice that the values are incongruent to the point that vs battles wiki's definition of multi-solar system level is over 20,000 times that of obd's wiki's definiton of galaxy level. This is not actually a math error and moreso a difference in interpretation over what destroying these things mean.

The OBD's definition of these things come from this paper suggesting the binding energy of the galaxies, the energy required to acclerate it's mass past it's own escape velocity and similarly the mass of the solar system and it's escape velocity.

VS's battles wiki's definitions come from these calcs on how much energy it would take by inverse square law to destroy a planet at the edge of our solar system (or Neptune's position) or to create energy to destroy a star at the edge of the galaxy from the center.

In essence throwing 10 GigaFoe at the Milky Way would destroy the stars in the center of the galaxy and would be enough energy to send all the rest of the stars away from it destroying the galaxy as a unit whereas throwing 10.53 ZettaFoe at the Milky Way would be enough to destroy all stars in it. It's a semantic differnece in terms of what "destroying" a galaxy means.

Personally I use the former since it seems to be more consistent in my view with the widely accepted definition of a planet buster being someone who can accelerate the mass of the planet Earth to it's own escape velocity and thus overcome it's GBE rather then the more violent destruction of like taking the inverse square law from the center and destroying metal at the edge of the Earth.

Especially given the discovery of even smaller galaxies like Segue 2 which could require as little as 1 KiloFoe to accelerate the mass to escape velocity, I don't really see the purpose in Multi-Stellar anymore (assuming you are using the escape velocity values rather then complete destruction values), and think I will just use the term Star System Level to refer to anything exceeding 5.709 Foe and is below the KiloFoe range. Especially given that Star Systems can vary in size and ours arguably goes far part the Sun-Neptune or Sun-Pluto range, I think this is a pretty fair wiggle room for the level.

How they compare: Fei Wong Reed (Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles)

Long ago, there lived the great sorceror Clow Reed. Clow Reed uniquely fused the western and eastern styles of magic to create the clow style of magic which granted incredible magical power. Clow Reed loved the witch now known as Yuuko Ichihara. The two traveled across the dimensions of the multiverse together forging a deep relationship.

But time was cruel to this love and Yuuko perished. Clow Reed in despair felt for a fleeting moment the desire that Yuuko would open her eyes again. Clow's magic was so strong that the multiverse itself warped and suspended Yuuko in time, disrupting the normal flow of time. The will of Clow Reed, the desire for Yuuko to live again became animate, the being known as Fei Wong Reed.

Fei Wong Reed, wanting to prove himself superior to his creator Clow Reed, and possibly subcounciously still acting out his nature as Clow Reed's will, wished to revive Yuuko, even if it meant destroying the multiverse to do so. However he was opposed by an unlikely source...Yuuko herself. The witch, suspended in time living like a ghost, knew her revival would be the destruction of the worlds and so the two clever magic-users began a mental battle across the dimensions.

Fei Wong Reed is one of the most powerful mages in the entire Clamp Multiverse. With a single magic blast he has staggered Yuuko, who was so strong that she casually tanked the attacks and defeated the collector ghost who maintained a manor in which one room was an entire universe with it's own constellations and with one of her wishes turned a human into an Ashura God capable of destroying Heaven and it's endless land.

One of Yuuko and Clow's creations, an imitation of the Divine Mokona were the White and Black Mokona, the Black Mokona which was capable of writing and sending over 100,000,000 texts in a second, likely requiring FTL speeds. Fei Wong Reed's own creations, the Clone Sakura and Syaoran were able to react and block magic blasts from Fei Wong Reed would should scale to the magic destruction of Fai which quickly encompassed all of Fai's world at likely quadrillions of times the speed of light which Fei Wong Reed should likely scale to in terms of reaction speed.

Fei Wong Reed's very birth distorted all the dimensions of Clamp of which there are infinite. Later after absorbing the power of Sakura's soul, he was able to affect a fundamental law of existence, which was destroying all the realities meaning that via hax he can destroy the multiverse. He also implies he would be able to recreate them all with the power he gained, suggesting he may even be multiverse level in terms of magical power after gaining Sakura's power.

Fei Wong Reed like most Clamp magic users has a diverse arsenal of powerful magic abilities, however due to him lurking in the background, the amount of shown abilities is not that huge.

Firstly it is noted that as a manifestation of Clow's will and a powerful user of Clow magic, Fei Wong Reed's true self is intangible and exists outside the conventional spacetime and laws of causality to the point that the breakdown of all spacetime and causality did not affect him.

Related, perhaps Fei Wong Reed's most potent magic is his spacetime magic. He was able to stop time for an entire dimension and in the world of Clow Country, caused the world to loop in time in one day, so that the same day would repeat endlessly by his presence. He can create portals between dimensions or directly attack across dimensions. Because universes move at different rates, he can use his inter-dimensional travel as a form of time travel. He can even access mental spaces like dreams and has the ability to damage or destroy them, causing confusion, loss of desire, or memory loss.

High Tier Clamp mages possess psychic abilities and the ability to see the future. This allows them to perform such feats as detecting magic even across universes as shown when Fei Wong Reed detected Yuuko's magic in another dimension. Yuuko was able to see events hundreds of years in the future along with Clow Reed, and create a recording that could answer every question and statement the reciever asked knowing exactly what they'd ask or say. Yuuko and Clow Reed even predicted the existence of Watanuki, the paradoxical child who came into being because of a time paradox. Fei Wong Reed should have a similar level of precognition.

Fei Wong Reed's most famous abilities are his cloning and his curses. Fei Wang Reed can clone entities, which he did to Sakura and Syaoran. He also showed he could only partially clone an entity such as making Clone Syaoran with only half the heart of original Syaoran. Fei Wang Reed is also known for his curses. He cursed "Fai" to always try to kill anyone he came across with greater magic then him and caused him to lose control of his own power. Upon dying he cursed Syaoran and Watanuki to fall into a pit that could not be accessed by anyone else and which only reality warping could allow escape from. His most famous curse is the death seal he placed on Sakura which affected her soul.

Speaking of which, Fei Wong Reed is also an incredible soul manipulator. He caused Princess Sakura's soul to manifest as two angel wings before turning into many feathers and scatter across the multiverse. He can also control the minds of people as he did to Clone Syaoran. This can be helped by his illusions and his aforementioned dream manipulation.

Fei Wong Reed has a level of direct magic and magic manipulation. He can create blasts of magic and conjure a barrier of magic, which even works automatically. As a powerful Clamp Mage he is inherently resistant to even universal levels of magic. He can also absorb the power and magic from other entities, bolsting his own magic as he did to Clone Sakura.

After gaining power from her, he was altering the most fundamental law of the multiverse, causing the destruction of every dimension. He was also implied to be going to recreate the multiverse, requiring incredible levels of reality-warping and creation

Beyond all his magic, Fei Wong Reed has the advantage of having lived for hundreds of years, mastering many mundane skills. He is implied to be an accomplished sword user likely able to compete with Clamp's best sword-users which get up to town to city level. He is also incredibly intelligent, having masterminded a scheme across hundreds of years ago and across the dimensions of the multiverse.

Fei Wong Reed has few weaknesses as well. Like all Clamp Mages, love can obscure his vision of the future. Also while Fei Wong Reed's magic barrier and magic resistance are incredibly strong, his actual physical body is not that strong as shown when Syaoran played dead and stabbed him by surprise mattack. While that won't kill him as his true self is the disembodied will of Clow Reed, someone who can hit an intangible being and can get a physical hit in will quickly kill him. In the end Fei Wong Reed's greatest strength and weakness are the same, a complete and total focus on one singular goal; to prove superior to Clow Reed, without.

Name: Fei Wong Reed
Origin: Clamp
Classification: Will of Clow Reed
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, magic/curses, intangibility, regen (low-godly: is the will of Clow Reed and just manifests a physical body), exists outside spacetime and causality, inter-dimensional travel/time travel, can enter dreams, mind manipulation, soul destruction, energy/magic absorption, sealing (can seal enemies in a void that requires reality-warping to come back from), cloning, spacetime manipulation (Universal: can freeze time, time loop, etc.), precognition/fortune-telling, magic blasts and barrier, resistance to magic, illusions, death curse. With Sakura's power he has conceptual destruction, spacetime destruction (multiversal), potentially creation/reality-warping (multiversal)
Weaknesses: Fortune-Telling is blocked by love, body is not actually that durable, stubborn
Destructive Capacity: Likely at least town level physically, universal+ with magic blasts, multiverse level with hax
Range: Multiversal
Speed: FTL Movement Speed, MFTL (Quadrillions) Reactions/Attack Speed. Nature as a being outside spacetime and causality makes this less relevant
Durability: Likely town level physically, magic barriers are at least universal+
Stamina: Unknown
Standard Equipment: Nothing Notable
Intelligence: Superhuman (schemed and manipulated a plan across hundreds of years and many dimensions)

So how would he do in other verses?

In the Marvel verse, Fei Wang Reed would place incredibly high in any individual universe he could find himself in. While his speed is only roughly Herald Tier, his passive time ability and his nature existing outside spacetime and causality would likely bring him higher combined with his massive power. Hypothetically his ability to destroy even an abstraction would allow him to kill an Abstract, though if they did notice him first they could also one-shot him.

In general his level of power and spacetime hax would suggest he would be potentially above even Skyfather tier, though outside his spacetime manipulation his hax wouldn't be neccesarily that strong for someone at that tier. He could even beat Cosmic Cubes though such would be a highly dangerous fight for him as they would likely comparable power, spacetime hax, and much stronger hax outside that. The real danger is if Fei Wong Reed begins stealing the power of entities to bolster his magic stronger then it was already.

In the DC Comics verse, Fei Wang Reed would be able to compete with the big name mages, due to being able to avoid their speeds and with similarly crazy spacetime magic or superior. In terms of raw power his normal state would be akin to a high tier member of the Justice League in the Pre-Crisis or Rebirth Era. The really scary thing about Fei Wang Reed in DC is his ability to cause entites to lose control of their power, which means he could cause Superman to accidentally destroy the Earth or cause the Flash to accidentally run into the speedforce forever. DC Heroes are all sorta predictated on holding themselves back.

Fei Wong Reed could be stopped fairly quickly by the sheer amount of anti-magic and magic in the verse, but if he is not stopped quickly, Fei Wong Reed could retreat to his own dimension time stopped, where only basically the Top Tier Kryptonians and Lanterns of his own tier would be able to pursue. The real danger would then be the sheer number of powerful magic-users for him to absorb the power from quickly growing out of control, especially as he can attack from different universes.

Fei Wong Reed would require immediate action from a powerful magic-user like Mordru or Doctor Fate, or he would quickly spiral out of control. His ability to destroy an abstract concept means he could even hypothetically threaten a being from the Sphere of the Gods though some of the lords of order and chaos as well as the Violet Lantern Entity would likely be able to stop him even if he drains the power of a lot of powerful magic users.

In Sailor Moon in terms of normal magical power, Fei Wang Reed's raw magical power would only be around the level of a fourth arc high tier or a fifth arc low tier which fits with his level of reactions. However his abilities would be really crazy. His spacetime manipulation rivals and arguably surpasses even Chaos's and d while some of his other haxes aren't as strong he actually probably could beat Base Chaos at the very least due to his superior range, conceptual attack, and strong spacetime magic.

Fei Wang Reed would be an immense threat and would be able to beat almost anyone in the verse, however he has a particularly bad matchup against Sailor Moon in her strongest forms. This is because her love for all the universe would blot out his fortune telling, her power source never runs out of energy meaning he can't energy drain her, can exist and attack outside spacetime as well, can also ignore causality, can self duplicate etc. Overall Fei Wang Reed would be a God Tier along the lines of Lambda Usagi and Chaos but would not be able to solo.

In the Madoka Multiverse, Fei Wong Reed seems to be purposefully made to be a counter to the verse specifically with his ability to destroy a concept of the multiverse, even it's most fundamental.

Granted Kami Madoka does have an arguably superior form of precognition then Fei Wong Reed, but her displayed feats do not suggest she would be able to kill him unless they start near each other although near may be relative to two beings outside space and time.

It's a bit hard to talk about given that Madoka verse requires more speculation on how strong the verse is then Fei Wong Reed does, but generally they are similar to him in most functions but he has a really strong technique for the verse. Hypothetically depenidng on starting distance, I could see Kami Madoka win, especially if Akuma Homura was also helping.

Fei Wong Reed in Touhou Project would be equivalent in power to the great mikos or hermit sages like Toyosatomimi no Miko who created her own seemingly endless realm of existence.

Fei Wong Reed would do fairly interesting in the Touhou world. Similar in stats, and in approximate hax levels with some of the crazy abilities in the Touhou world including manpiulation of borders or fate, Fei Wong Reed would have a definite advantage in his resistance to magic which would protect him from a good amount of abilities as well as his multiversal range. That said the great Shrine Maiden Reimu can endlessly stalemate him by floating away from reality, where even his conceptual attack would not be able to affect.

He would also do particularly poorly against Oni like Suika if they get in close who are physical powerhouses capable of destroying seemingly endless realms with their strength and could just punch him a few times to kill him, especially as they can affect phantoms and evil spirits with their attacks suggesting they would be able to hit true self.

Fei Wong Reed could do well using stealth, range and resistance, and would likely have the advantage of most mid to high tiers one on one but he would not be able to stand against the numbers the verse have on him or against the top tier fighters.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator-verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator

Local Scale Threat:

The TABS verse is filled with a race of strange gumby-looking humanoids that are red and blue which seem constantly in war. The red and blue armies contain a lot of pre-modern weapons and armor up to roughly the 1700s with the Pirate Faction. The weapons including muskets, blunderbuss, and cannons which are roughly wall level attack potency.

The durability is not quite as high at this tier, though the sheer durability of these gumby creatures that can numerous sword or arrow blows and which have full plate knight armor have superhuman durability. This means I can use wall level attack potency or durability but only superhuman in the other regard.

In terms of speed while most of the units are...less then hasty; there are two horse based units the cavalry and the jouster. There's also the wheelbarrow which is a wheelbarrow that moves quickly and raptors which are meant to be velociraptors. This means I can use superhuman speed.

There's also numerous pseudo tanks that likely have wall level durability though none also have wall level attack potency including minotaurs with their charge, jarls, kings, and monks.

Alongside more conventional weapons like swords, axes, spears, guns, and oversized wooden stake, the TABS verse has other forms of weapons including large harpoons used to kill whales and explosivse including the Firework Archer, and the numerous types of bombs the Pirate Faction uses such as the Grenadier's bombs and the bomb cannon. The Spooky Faction including the Swordcaster who can fling swords rapid fire as well as the Sensei from the Dynasty Faction who can rapid fire shurikens. Artemis while she doesn't technically rapid fire arrows, she shoots a dozen arrows at once as a large blob of arrows. Speaking of arrows, the Balloon Archers fire arrows with balloons and numerous of them can make an enemy float up into the sky. The Ballooner can also do something similar grabbing an enemy and taking them into the sky with the balloons on their back. Probably the most dangerous conventional opponent is the Reaper who has 4 tendrils who can skewer through numerous weaker enemies with his tendrils and can use his scythe with such strength as to knock a mammoth around.

The verse has numerous forms of elemental offenses. The Dynasty faction dragons breath fire out their mouths to burn enemies in front of them, and the flame archers of the Spooky Faction shoot flaming arrows. The same faction also has the Candleheads which shoot ghostly fire which knockback their enemies. There are two forms of freezing; the ice archers who freeze enemies with their arrows, and the god Ullr whose axes can flash freeze large groups of units that are packed together. There's also wind manipulation in the Fanbearer who wave their fans with enough wind to knock back enemies and the Shouter whose yell can do the same. The God Zeus can also throw lightning that chains through enemy units.

Their is also a few more exotic offenses. There's the Bone Mage who can bring up giant sharp bones underneath their enemies in a straight line. The Potionseller can throw potions which throw potions which cause a drunken like state of staggering around and eventual collapse of opponents. The Skeleton Warrior can imbue enemies with fear and the Cupid can imbue enemies with love.

These gumby creatures have a weirdly strong endurance, possibly because they don't seem to have internal organs. They seem to just be humanoid shaped homogeneous blobs. Nothing every bleeds or is cut, units just fall over when dead. They also have a few more forms of defense outside their raw endurance and conventional armor. The Haybalers are clumped in bundles of hay that make them immune to projectiles. Speaking of projectiles, the Samurai can deflect projectiles. The Healers can also heal people and the Cheerleaders can bolster allies on strengthening them. Vampires can also heal themselves by doing damage to enemies.

There's a few more important abilities in the verse. While the mobility of the verse is kinda limited, numerous units possess exotic movement abilities. Several types of units have a form of superleap including Berserkers, Jesters, Monkey King. Flight is possessed by several units as well including Valkyries, Cupids, and the vampires in their bat forms. The Reaper while it doesn't fly does levitate off the ground. The Monkey King has the ability to create illusory clones of himself and there's also a few forms of summoning. The Snake Archers shoot arrows that becomes snakes, and there's also the biggest threat in the verse, especially the tier, and the thing that caused me the most trouble, that being the Clams, a guy dressed up as a claw that throws swarm after swarm of ravenous clams. If you are aware of Alpha Tabs, think of it as a much more dangerous and fast version of the Chicken Man.

Also I don't know if this is an actual ability or just game mechanics but stealth is useless in this game. Armies will always know where an enemy unit is even if they are behind cover and will always advance them.

That said for all their strengths, this verse has a bundle of weaknesses. The most infamous weaknesses of the verse is that the gumby creatures of the TABS verse are complete idiots. They walk off the edge of the world, ranged units will fire at enemy units even if their is a friendly unit in the way, it's not unheard of for units to just trip and fall, units will regularly struggle to perform the simple task of climbing stairs. In some ways they're almost too dumb to be manipulated as I'm not even sure they would recognize an enemy trying to manipulate them. It's almost like you're fighting a horde of zombies. As you might guess from that the verse is also not very skilled in combat outside of a few specialist units like the Teacher (specifically dueling teacher), the Tae Kwon Do, and the Jester who all do a few crazy moves. Most of the units however just do one thing and have very high difficulty adapting to anything else.

Beyond that the verse's mobility and range are both somewhat limited. While some units are technically "fast" the units never run or adjust their speed and always move in a predictable straight line towards their enemies unless they have a special movement ability like the superleap. While there are ranged units in the game, these characters effective range is somewhat limited due to their rather clumsy shooting.

Finally and this is the weakness I think that leads into the main strategy, the TABS verse units can't swim and regularly die if subjected to water or if ejected off the arenas that the verse seems to be comprised off.

So what strategy would be effective? The biggest threat will likely be the long range large scale weapons such as cannons/catapults/balista/hwacha, explosives, the swarms of clams, and if it comes to it the tanks. The first two require some degree of mobility, some kind of shield against the incoming attacks, or better range. The third requires some kind of area attack to it all the clams or flight to avoid the clams. The fourth requires some kind of really strong attack or some way to exploit their weakness. Overall much like when fighting zombies, a general helpful ability is being able to trip up or otherwise make the terrain hard to move in.

All of this can be achieved by battlefield manipulation which leads to what I believe is the most helpful singular ability for the verse, that being element manipulation. Water manipulation can create a pool of water to drown units and keep them from getting to him, and possibly use water to shield self. Earth manipulation can create earth shields and make the terrain hard to cross. Fire manipulation can burn away incoming projectiles and burn a lot of enemies at once as well as keep them back. However the best, the absolute best is wind manipulation. A strong enough wind manipulation can blow away all projectiles and clam swarms at once, can blow projectiles back at enemies, can keep any enemy from even getting close, and can just blow enemies off the arena (which even somehow kills flying units). This leads me to my first counter

Captain Planet GIF

Linka from Captain Planet.

Linka was tough enough to fall down a large pit and survive a small explosion nearby, suggesting she'd have superhuman durability. Her wind manipulation also has wall+ level potency able to flip over a tank and knock a helicopter off balance. She was also able to outrun a cart rolling downhill, suggesting her speed would be similar to the wheelbarrow.

Linka's wind manipulation is strong enough to create a localized tornado which is considered a god tier ability in the TABS-verse. Her wind manipulation is strong enough that even if she was put on the other side of an enemy of Gumbys one blast of Linka's wind will turn throw everything in front of her off the map like the Shouter could only dream of being. One or two blasts will end almost anything in the enemy army.

She should also be much faster then any of the Gumbys by a wide margin as she was smart enough as she was able to quickly reprogram a computer.

That said if she doesn't start at long range, if she starts surrounded or if an enemy can get a long range attack it might work on her. For an even more effective counter, you could use

Spring Heeled Jack from British Folklore.

Some sources say Spring Heeled Jack is intangible, and if you use that he obviously would stomp as the verse has almost nothing that could even arguably affect an intangible opponent however even if you use a version that doesn't, Jack would be incredibly strong in the tier.

Spring Heeled Jack was capable of superleaping on top of buildings, hence his name requiring wall level durability and at least superhuman attack potency. He was also able to move with his superleaping quickly enough that people couldn't react suggesting Jack would be near subsonic in speed. It would be child's play for Jack to leap down to an enemy army, and jump up again dropping them from high in the sky back and forth.

However that's not even getting into his other abilities. Jack can use a blue fire which could function similar to how fire manipulation could work, burning away clams and enemy projectiles, and which causes loss of sight and stunning. While loss of sight might work of the verse, stunning absolutely should which would make it incredibly hard for anyone to hit him.

This is besides the fact that he also passively induces insanity and fear. Fear is already an effect in TABS and relatively strong since it keeps most melee units from hitting you. Using both fire to burn projectiles and passive fear to keep anyone from melee-ing would already be really strong ignoring his superleaping tactic. However Jack's fear is potent enough to cause death suggesting he could casually leap around the battlefield like a TABS leaper on steroids causing instant death to anyone around him. And he would absolutely think of this as a hundreds of years old monster skilled in ambush tactics,

That said if he's not intangible a stray explosive if it gets past his fire could kill him, and if he's fighting massive armies he might eventually run out of stamina since he lacks much in the way of stamina feats. However my ultimate counter I don't think has any weakness to the tier, that being

Botan from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Botan is implied to know a lesser version of the spirit gun which can break down walls and can fly through the sky at superhuman speeds, faster then anyone in the verse.

Botan is a Shinigami which means she's naturally invisible. Again I don't know if the verse's fighters have anti-stealth or it's just game mechanics but if it IS just game mechanics this is obviously a massive advantage. She can casually fly above the battlefield and transport an enemy or an enemy's soul to the river styx in the Spirit World which would drown a TABS unit. She can also go back and forth between the Human and Spirit World at will meaning she can casually avoid any attack by inter-dimensional teleportation.

Botan could hypothetically hypothetically use her spiritual energy to manipulate the elements of the natural world suggseting she could cause pits to appear underneath the Tabs units, even burrowing them under the arena to their death, she could use her spirit gun or just strong winds to knock them off the map, she could use fire to burn them away or water to drown them. Spirit Energy's ability to manipulate elements would make Botan incredibly versatile and broken.

Botan can casually read minds meaning that she would know when an attack was coming and casually deflect it, dodge it in the air or go to Spirit World briefly to avoid it. Even if Botan did take a hit she can heal herself way faster then they would be able to damage her spirit power as a shinigami allows her to heal.

Even against other flying units Botan would be able to casually knock them away with her spirit gun throwing off the map. She would also likely scale to a stamina that would mean she would not at all have to worry about running out of stamina as a relatively weak reiki user was able to balance himself on one finger for 12 hours straight.

Regional Scale Threat:

The strongest characters in the TABS verse are giant units that have an immediate influence on the entire battlefield. Due to sheer size these should scale to large wall level, consistent with surviving numerous wall level attacks from the prior tier and being able to severely damage the pseudo tanks of the last tier with one strike. This includes three varieties of giants including the Tree Giants who use trees as weapons, as well as the Ice Giant and the Samurai Giant. There's also the original giant, the prehistoric mammoth.

Beyond these there's also the Da Vinci Tank, a primitive tank manned by Leonardo Da Vinci that shoots out cannonballs at an enemy. However there's one even stronger enemy. Any unit that spins including a Mace Spinner, Lady Red Jade or a Da Vinci Tank can be cheered on by the Cheerleaders to the point that they turn into a large tornado, that zips across the battlefield at subsonic speeds, tearing through most types of enemies.

So what's a good counter? Well mostly the things that were good counters to the prior tier also are here. They may be bigger gumbys but they aren't smarter gumbys. In terms of specific weaknesses, the big characters are weak to single high power concentrated projectiles. This is why the Ballista has it's reputation as the "giant-killer". Flight is also a strong strategy. Valkyries are known for flying above a mammoth and stabbing it until it drops dead and just flying right into the opening in the Da Vinci Tank killing Da Vinci. The Giants are a bit more trouble but someone with both flight and ranged attacks should be able to wear them down outside their range.

The only real threat then would be the Tornado and to far it's speed and wind strength is quite the danger. However a similar tactic to the Da Vinci Tank can be used if a character is strong enough to charge into the tornado one can kill the spinning thing in the center to stop the tornado.

So to summarize; flight, ranged attack, super strength and right stats as well as perhaps some of the things that were strong against last tier. This leads me to my first counter

Perseus from Greek Mythology.

Perseus in stats is likely wall level scaling from Cetus, the whale sized monster that he battled, and was fast enough to fly over Ethiopia in at most a day, and more likely a few hours which would be subsonic speed as well as stealing the eye of the Graeae sisters before they could react.

Perseus has the helm of darkness, which gives him invisibility. Again don't know if the verse has anti-stealth or if game mechanics, but it's something he has. More notably he has the winged sandals of Hermes, which gives him flight as well as the head of Medusa which could turn hundreds of people to stone at once. Against any TABS giant Perseus would basically just do what he did against the Cetus turning it to stone. He would just need to hover over the battlefield and pull out the Medusa head to solo any army put against him.

If that isn't enough he's not only strong enough to get past the winds of a tornado, but he has the Harpe Sword used to defeat Uranus, the sky itself, which would one-shot any enemy in the verse. He compliments this with being a skilled warrior.

That said his durability isn't anything special outside of being wall level and he could get beaten if they somehow get him, like he starts surrounded and in close and they have anti-stealth. While not a very likely scenario and he could still likely win regardless, there are even better counters. For instance

The Sky King from Freedom Force.

Sky King is strong enough to battle with Nazi Mad Science enhanced Super Gorillas and his armor is bulletproof giving his relative strength and superior durability to anyone in the verse. When flying he's comparable to Blackjack in speed who can move faster then the eye, and to Tricolour who can block bullets with her sabre suggesting he'd have a mild speed advantage over the verse.

The Sky King is well known for his aerial supremacy. He can fly and fire chain gun and grenades with his grenade launcher. His chain gun is known for it's really long range. It's drawback is hypothetically it's "low accuracy" however this makes him only about as accurate as a TABS Unit. His Grenade launcher is a faster and more powerful version of the Pirate Grenadier's grenades. His armor is strong enough that he would be immune to most attacks and he is strong enough to resist tornado winds.

Of course getting close to him is not a good idea for a TABS unit anyway. Sky King can create a blaze of jetfuel flames that would burn tree giants trees, melt the metal on a Samurai Giant or a Da Vinci Tank, melt Ice Giant and catch a Mammoth on fire. He can create sonic booms with his take off with enough force that it would probably cut through a tornado. He can also access a quick burst of speed to get away if they were actually threatening him somehow.

Sky King could rein down havoc on the battlefield from afar and if they would get close to him can easily escape or cause absolute mayhem to anyone near him with his own area attacks.

That said while Sky King would do incredibly well against this tier, there are ways to counter him in the verse on the lower tier, such as a lucky Ballista shot or especially the lightning of Zeus since Sky King's metal armor gives him weakness to electricity. I have a counter I think would work even better, that being

The Wicked Witch of the West from Oz: The Great and Powerful

I am not sure if the 1939 MGM film should be considered canon to Oz: The Great and Powerful. As far as I can tell the film was made to be a precursor to that film, it simply didn't get the rights too. This analysis will be assuming that The Wizard of Oz should be considered canon to Oz: The Great and Powerful though Theodora would be OP in TABS without it as well.

Theodora was able to create small meteors and fire that could destroy parts of a room suggesting she'd be wall level as well as in durability as the Witches do match each other in fights. In terms of speed, she was quick enough to write the message "Surrender Dorothy" in the sky with her broomstick's smoke cloud likely requiring high end subsonic speed.

Theodora was able to cause a rain of meteors as well her signature fireball attack, which would cause the same burning effects I mentioned in the Sky King's section. Her meteors would cause general mayhem and chaos for any army put up against her. She can also conjure up a field of poppies that put the affected into a deathly sleep which the verse would have no resistance and given their dumb gumby nature would probably continue to run into even after people start falling asleep in.

She has telekinesis able to casually close a castle door which should hypothetically let her tear Da Vinci out of his tank and the spinning of whatever is causing the tornado stopping it. Speaking of which she is far more dreadful then her sister the Wicked Witch of the East who can casually fly around in a tornado. Her telekinesis could also be used to send away projectiles or send people off the arena or into water.

She was also able to cause illusions which hypothetically even anti-stealth wouldn't be able to stop since TABS units still try to attack the Monkey King's illusory copies, and can teleport in a burst of fire if anything would try to attack her. She can also use her crystal ball to attack any TABS unit from far outside their range.

The verse would be completely unable to use her weakness to water against her as none of the verse can swim and trying to get close to the water means for their clumsy derpy bodies that are likely being thrown by telekinesis that they'd go in the water and get swept off the arena. This is despite the fact that none of them would even know her weakness and none of them are tactical enough to try and use it.

Overall Theodora would have complete control over the battlefield, able to rein fire and mayhem, able to teleport and create illusions, able to put the whole battlefield to sleep, able to throw people off the arena or into water, keep to the sky and move faster then anyone in the verse can really keep up with.

And that's how to be OP in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
