Long Answer: Look I've had a bad time vs debating Madoka for years now mostly because, as you may be aware, I think Madoka's power is a bit exaggerated. I think some statements are taken too literally (to the point that people are saying that Madoka would and did erase a multiverse of infinite people despite her nature as a good person) and out of context so that the highest end interpretation should be taken when that's not neccesarily more logical. That said it's a real shame to me because as most people who have talked to me one on one know, I really like Madoka. It's in my top 10 favorite series of all time. So I wanted a way to talk about how strong the character is and it just so happens that Puella Magi the verse has a fandom rivalry with another series I like almost as much which I have seen some claim would beat Madoka. So this is my way of basically saying "look, Kami Madoka is really really powerful."
So Kami Madoka for whatever reason is fighting every single pretty cure. Let's start with the most factor first, Madoka is an abstract concept, a law of the universe. Legitimately that alone might be able to beat Pretty Cure without Madoka even trying, as Pretty Cure can't physically affect abstracts and will die of old age if Madoka literally just does nothing.
The ONLY ability any of the Cures have that is relevant to talk about against an abstract is Cure Happy's Plot Hax to "create happy endings". There are a few reasons this wouldn't work however including but not limited to
1: Madoka exists outside of causality ( as well as spacetime), which Cure Happy's plot hax has never been shown to affect
2: Sheer area of effect. Cure Happy's Plot Hax was able to restore the happy endings to nFairy Tale Land but that is miniscule compared to Madoka which I'll get too.
3: Miyuki's ability is to make happy endings. Madoka losing is not a happy ending because Madoka is one of the goodest girls in magical girl history, which is saying a lot. She is the goddess who saves the souls of every magical girl in history.
So already Pretty Cure lacks any win condition and Madoka hasn't even done anything.
What CAN Madoka do? Well let's start with the fact that because she exists outside of space, time and causality, she can appear in arbitrarily many places in existence as she wants to. Pretty Cure may seem to outnumber her until you remember that she can simply have millions of more of her show up at will. More likely given her character she would go simply go back in time and stop whatever was causing them to fight.
However if she actually wanted to fight them, she would very well immediatly overwhelm them without duplicating. Not is she invisible to them but her raw power....
the biggest feats in pretty cure at the moment ar eDark King threatening all of spacetime, Goyan surviving the Big Bang, Ophiuchus creating and erasing the universe and Star Twinkle Pretty Cure recreating it. Of those Dark King's feat is arguably the most impressive, matched by the legendary monochrome pretty cure, Cure Black and Cure White whose monster of the week made the other pretty cure run away in fear.
For comparison in one timeline the witch Kriemhild Gretchen was stated to be enough despair to end a universe and her barrier only encompassed the Earth. Akuma Homura who is equal in power to Kami Madoka has a barrier that encompasses the universe. The power difference is massive. Yes White and Black got stronger during Max Heart and the movies but there's no way they made up that massive a gap.
Not to mention the size gap. Kami Madoka's skirt is the universe, showing she is massively larger then the universe. The only Cures with the area of effect to even compare to that are Star Twinkle who again have no way of affect abstracts.
I'm actually not sure if Madoka's time hax would work on pretty cure like time rewinding or freezing since they do resist time hax but they're not acausal so affecting them in the past would likely work and moreover she has a hundred other hax abilities including the ability to borrow the power of any other puella magi including BFR to Heaven or Hell, Fate Manipulation, Mind Hax, Soul Hax etc.
Beyond that while I disagree with the interpretation people usually use about the original anime's ending, Madoka is strongly implied to have conceptual manipulation and could simply remove the concept of pretty cure from being.
And Madoka should be aware of what to do from the beginning as she sees across all potential futures and realities. Madoka has more abilities then these, but I hope it's clear what I'm getting at. Madoka is really inasnely powerful. She'd be the strongest character in almost every single mg series I know, and even in the few I don't think she would, namely CCS/Clamp and SM she'd be in the top 3 strongest characters. I do not think she is weak and people seem to be falsely conflating me with others who have said so. Most Pretty Cure final battles are melee exchanges and energy blasts, they simply are not all equipped to fight a living conceptual law.
I'm probably not going to make a lot of blogs like this. I don't see a reason most of the time to comment on really one-sided matches.
