Flip Flappers-Verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in the Flip Flappers-verse

Local Scale Threat:

Outside this universe is another world called Pure Illusion. Pure Illusion is a world shaped by imagination and emotions and is composed of many dimensions of strange physics and inhabitants. As might be imagined more then one organizations are interested in exploring this world to regain the powerful amorphous shards from our universe that have fallen into them.

To do this they send agents into Pure Illusion, using a process of bonding and teamwork known as "Flip-Flapping". The main pair of the series; Cocona and Papika even in their civilian state would be in this tier when they are charged with energy via the power of their relationship and desire to save each other. In this state they were able to casually falling from a small planet's orbit, a collision which would take over half a ton of tnt, which is a building level. Their full energy can rise without even transforming to the point that Cocona displaced the water of a frozen lake in episode 1 for Papika when she no knowledge of Pure Illusion, requiring city block level energy. As such most of the tier's fighters are building, with the strongest being city block level.

In terms of speed the characters even in civilian form can easily move faster then the eye. The best speed feat would be Cocona and Papika moving around and reacting after they were launched around a small planet that was one of the dimensions of Pure Illusion, at speeds nearly mach 30. Thus most of the tier is hypersonic.

Cocona and Papika in their pseudo-transformed state have shown they can produce an energy aura around them as a form of offense and are skilled martial artists to the point that the inhabitants of one dimension thought their skill was literally miraculous calling their fight "the dance of miracles". Papika also has levitation by way of her trusty hoverboard as well as limited enhanced sense of smell.

The tier has other inhabitnts as well. Both Flip Flap and Asclepinus the organizations use robots that would scale to being above at least Cocona and Papika's Civlilian States and which typically use binding claws. One of these has also displayed levitation via a small rotor blade.  There's large megafauna that exists in Pure Illusion that would dwarf even elephants, though Papika is so skilled that she can casually climb around on them to retrieve Cocona's glasses.

While it's not typically possessed by the fighters of the tier, the verse also has numerous entities with superintelligence able to create technology that can access the world of Pure Illusion outside the universe including the technicians of Asclepinus and Hidaka. There is also Pops of Pure Illusion, the inventor of technology able to create an advanced city with mecha.

There's also one more sorta advantage for the verse, although it's sort of a distadvantage as well, and that is Pure Illusion itself. It is a distinctive trait of Pure Illusion that it's worlds are strange and hold many peculiarties like gates that put one in the body of a person in another time to change history, worlds that can transform animals and humans into animal-humans, and a spooky ghost world in which ghosts try to turn things into a schoolgirl yuri story whose time repeats each day. It's a very disorienting verse which can make it hard to act in, let alone fight in. While this can somewhat cause trouble for the tier's own fighters, they are at least more experienced with it then any one from another universe.

However that does bring up the weaknesses of the verse. The first, related to the above is that bfr strategies would seem to work very well. Cocona and Papika can't access their powers when not around each other and everyone in the verse has a hard time getting between dimensions basically need the highest level of technology to do so.

On a bit of a simpler level this tier is really vulnerable to ranged strategies. All the strategies of this tier including the robots and megafauna can basically be divided into ground-based melee fighters and air-based melee-fighters divided on whether they have levitation/flight or not. Their isn't much in the way of ranged combat on this tier outside of Cocona and Papika's energy aura thing and it's honestly a good way to get around the skill level of Cocona and Papika and to get around the robots binding.

Also while Cocona and Papika can reach city block level out of massive concern for each other, that's only in those circumstances. You might think psychological manipulation would be really good here, but an even safer and more consistent strategy is just a stamina based one. They have never been shown to maintain that level of intensity for very long. In real life a human can reach the strengh of a big ape like a Gorilla for very brief periods in moments of complete intensity but a gorilla would still stomp a human because that is only the briefest period for a human as opposed to just the normal state of a gorilla.

All of this suggests the consistent sniper strategy that can avoid detection and take out enemies from far away would be a good strategy for the tier. This leads to my first counter

Sinon from Sword Art Online (specifically Gun Gale Avatar Sinon)

Sinon is one of the best fighters in GGO, which has monsters comparable to the Geocrawler of ALO which was the size of multiple buildings, suggesting she would scale to Large Building Level which suggests she would be above most of the tier but below Cocona and Papika's full force. She also has hypersonic reaction, able to react to Kirito as well as to machine gun bullets from close range.

Sinon is an incredible sniper, able to snipe from kilometers away, far outside the detection range of anyone in the tier, aided by her Hawkeye Skill that allows her vision to zoom in on a target and her aim assist.

Sinon could adapt better then most to the strange worlds of Pure Illusion as her Bullet Circle ability tells her where her bullet will land, taking into account all outside variables, down to her heartbeat. This could easily account for the strange climates of Pure Illusion. She is also simply not affected by weather, can adjust what temperature she feels, and climate effects like frostbite. It's likely she could remain unaffected by at least some of Pure Illusion's strange environments.

Sinon also would have literally infinitely more physical stamina then the tier's fighters as her physical body simply doesn't tire being a virtual reality simulation. She also feels neglible pain to the point that even decapitation in game barely gives any pain. Even if she is forced into close range, she could likely withstand briefly but long enough for her to fire another bullet at close range.

That said she really should avoid melee. If she headshots Cocona or Papika the other could easily dismantle her in one or two shots if she is not careful. While she could easily hit them from far outside their detection range and fire twice before being noticed, this is still a risk, and some of the more esoteric strangeness of Pure Illusion would be unlike anything she had ever seen. For a counter that mitigates both of these moreso you could use

Green Arrow from DC Comics

Green Arrow has survived a punch from Solomon Grundy that could destroy a cliffside and scales to various building level feats from DC Street Tiers. He can also explosion time, requiring hypersonic speed and can react to various lightning timers movement.

Green Arrow is the expert marksman of the DC Universe, adept at adapting his archery to whatever bizarre situations the DC Universe throws at him, like when Killer Frost created 100 MPH winds and Oliver adjusted for it and shot an arrow to use the wind's momentum to knock over a streetlamp onto her.

Green Arrow is skilled enough to go hand to hand with Cocona and Papika and likely win given his feats against DC Martial Artists. He is also stealthy and quick enough to exit a building, avoiding it's security in the brief time the man he was speaking to closed his eyes. Oliver would be able to casually snipe anyone in the verse from outside their range, staying out of their detection with his agiltiy and stealth (especially if he uses one of his flash bangs), and if they get close he would be able to easily out melee most of them.

That's not even getting into the most potent part of his arsenal; his trick arrows. While his trick arrows tend to vary, his most common form are forms of incapitation such as net arrows, cryo arrows, foam arrows etc. These bindings have been shown to be effective against the verse's fighters. His stronger arrows including things like Phantom Zone Arrows which is a form of BFR that literaly no one in the verse could recover from.

That said, Oliver could still struggle against some of the stranger climates in Pure Illusion. But perhaps struggling with the environement is not the most optimal strategy, perhaps the best strategy is to pick a character that could work with the strange environment, which is why I would suggest as my ultimate counter to the tier

Wizards from Magicka.

While most Wizards from Magicka aren't as strong as the greatest wizards, Wizards can still freeze rivers or parts of lava, which would take at least city block level power. They can also react to lightning, which requires MHS reactions.

Pure Illusion is a world with a strange warped physics based on the psyches of people. Magicka Wizards are people with warped pysches based on the energies of the world. The Magicka Wizards would be almost pure embodiments of Pure Illusion. They are massively more versatile in the tier and can use tricks like the infamous Steam Beam to snipe anyone in the tier while freezing them so they can't respond or lightning-death-ice walls to hit multiple enemies. If they would be threatened they can create a personal shield that can block even planetary attacks. This can only last a brief time but it can be easily recharged and it lasts longer then the stamina of Cocona and Papika's strongest emotional surges. Bear in mind that the Magicka Wizards are normally physically as powerful as Cocona and Papika's peak.

The dimensions of Pure Illusion would not inconvenience the Wizard likely given their nature, and in fact likely the Wizard could manipulate it with their mana. They enter the spooky ghost world? They can just use life mana to neutralize them. They became part animal? Doesn't affect their mindset as they were already connected to the natural world. Enter a time gate? They can just use Town Portal magicka as they already did to get back from the past. The Town Portal magicka can also bfr anyone in the tier.

But what about the Wizard's weakness? Sure they don't normally take things seriously but they do when the natural world is being threatened...such as if nameless organizations from another world are trying to remove the sources of life and being for this world. In Flip Flappers, the Magicka Wizard would be wholly motivated to protect Pure Illusion from the incursions.

City Scale Threat:

As individual dimensions in Pure Illusion can encompass a whole city or city-sized area like a desert, this is roughly the scale threat to be a danger to everything in one dimension.

This is the tier of Cocona and Papika after using the power of their relationship to intitiate the process known as "Flip-Flapping" to become their Magical Girl Forms Pure Blade and Pure Barrier respectively.

Both Pure Blade and Pure Barrier have the ability to manifest weapons with Pure Blade's manifesting generally as a large sword and Pure Barrier's manifesting as a shield. The two also have a combination attack of a large laser weapon. Pure Blade also showed minor matter manipulation dissolving a cage trapping Papika, and Pure Barrier has demonstrated water manipulation creating large blobs of water which she can use as a weapon or to trap people. In this form both of them can also fly.

The two of them created an explosion that was visible from space outside of a small planet, calculated as taking millions of tnt and thus being city level. This is consistent with them being relative to the Amorphous Shards which maintained the nature of these dimensions. The speed of the tier is generally unchanged but likely faster then the prior tier.

This is also the tier of the Asclepinus Agents Yayaka and the Brother-Sister team Tutu and Yuyu who were able to fight evenly with Pure Blade and Pure Barrier. Yuyu uses a giant power fist to fight while Tutu uses a missile barrage. Yayaka can also Flip-Flap gaining energy manipulation and flight as a boost to her stats. This is also the tier of the rabbit Uexkull's Superhero Form which can use superleaping.

Notably there's Welwitschia who is a giant spider monster that disguises herself as a normal if strangely colored humanoid person. She is the queen of the desert dimension and has forcifully taken many women of the dimension to be part of her harem. She cna disguise herself and manipulate people and in her true form is adapt at moving quickly and agily to avoid attacks to the point of looking like teleportation, and can bind people. She can also fire a laser from her mouth.

Finally this tier has much advanced technology, not just from the main universe, but from the advanced city that is one of the dimensions of Pure Illusion including giant mecha controlled by eletrical charges, sound and the connection between two people (allowing the mecha themselves to use the energy of Flip Flapping) far above most of the tier's fighters including the Great Pacoya Nova whose laser destroyed much of the planet that dimension was on and left the orbit of the planet relatively. It is unknown what size that planet was, but if it was Earth Sized this would be at least relativistic speed and be continent levels of energy.

In terms of strategies the most obvious one to use is what Welwitschia used, a combination of stealth and binding. The verse lacks advanced detections methods outside the the great Rabbit Superhero Uexkull's rabbit hearing and binding tends to work pretty well.

However there's a power that I think would work even better, or rather two powers that would work similarly well. One of these is technopathy. Controlling the verse's strong tech would give one access to the inter-dimensional teleportation technology and the giant mecha that are far stronger then any of the tier's fighters. Also all the tier's fighters rely on weapons which can be controlled as forms of technology. Similarly telekinesis would be likely strong in the verse, just telekinetically controlling the weapons to keep them from using them. It could also double as a form of binding, telekinetically holding the bodies of the tier. This brings me to my first counter

Tom Lucitor from Star versus the Forces of Evil

Tom is much stronger then Marco who has a mushroom cloud feat which would be in the kiloton range. When taking into account the fact that Tom's power can rise in rage, he can likely compete with the verse in power. His reaction speed should scale to Marco's and Base Star's who could react to Hekapoo could could circle a planet in seconds requiring relativistic speeds. This means he would have no trouble reacting to the tier's fighters.

Tom has telekinesis which he used to play ping pong without a paddle and stop a spinning wheel which suggest he could telekinetically interfere with the weapons of the tier's fighters. Even more potent Tom can teleport between Hell and the Earth, a form if interdimensional teleportation and can teleport others. It would be easy for him to hypothetically teleport the tier's fighters into other dimensions they could not get out of easily.

Tom is most known for his pyromancy including erupting into an angry aura of fire. Such an aura could keep any melee fighter off him and could melt any ranged weapon outside possibly Cocona/Papika or Welwitschia's lasers which have a slight charge up he could see and dodge with his fire-based flight as he did to Meteora's soul stealing attack.

Tom is also skilled at dark magic and curses, in particular...bindings. He brought up a dark coffin construct which Full Power Mina struggled with, Mina being much stronger then the Royal Moon Family in their Butterfly Forms who were stronger then planet level characters like Helios. This suggests that not even Pacoya Nova could break out of the coffin trap. He also has a very odd curse called the Nasaya Curse which causes a second head to pop out of the target's neck causing them to say their secrets and thoughts. This is relevant because disruptions to the teamwork between a Flip-Flapping team can break their ability to use their abilities and if one side of a team gives away any secret distastes they have towards the other it can throw their strategy out of synch. Similarly, if two people are out of synch they can't use the mecha properly.

That said he might be a bit fragile for the verse if attacks get in. For a counter with a bit more survivability you could use

Cutie Honey from Re: Cutie Honey

Honey's power was able to equal the power of a nucleur bomb and survive the epicenter of it's energy and she was able to cut numerous missiles in flight at once suggesting she would be similar to the tier in terms of raw power and speed. She was also able to react to a nuclear explosion requiring her to react in nanoseconds requiring relativistic reactions suggseting she could react to even the Great Pecoya Nova's Laser. It's possible her berserk or power of love mode could allow her to compete even with the mecha in raw power.

Honey is a skilled melee fighter with a far more versatile arsenal of abilities then the tier's fighters. She can also reform from just her nanites which suggests that even Cocona's matter manipulation would not be able to stop her, yet she has a much stronger form using the I-System which creates things out of air particles.

She should be similarly skilled and can create illusory duplicates out of light or create a blinding light which would be fairly exotic abilities for the tier. She can also attack from a distance by creating a tornado attack which would also knock back any non energy ranged attacks on her position. But for the energy attacks themselves she can absorb energy, even the energy of nuclear bombs suggesting she could just absorb the two laser attacks.  Not that they would notice her position since she is particularly adept at disguisng herself to get in close to an enemy like Welwitschia did to Cocona.

Honey also has powerful technopathy, to the point of being able to control technology across the planet with the I-System. This would give her a godlike ability to control the verse's technology. Beyond that, her form of Hurricane Honey is the master of all vehicles including hypothetically the mecha of Pure Illusion so she could potentially hijack one of the mechas to use for herself, with the only possibly downside being she may not fit inside as she is an adult woman in size while two schoolgirl sized girls struggled to fit into their cockpits.

The only possible way I could see for Honey to lose is that this version of Honey is a bit ditzy and I could see Welwitschia disguising herself and manipulating her for a surprise attack. For a counter this is highly unlikely to work against, you could use my ultimate counter on this tier

Squigly from Skullgirls

Squigly defeated the Skullgirl, who was capable of throwing a skyscraper at hypersonic speeds, requriing city levels of energy. She also defeated 3 different opponents who defeated Valentine who could casually point-blank machine gun bullet time. This suggests she would be similar to the tier's fighters in terms of stats.

Squigly can use the same burrowing strategy that Welwitschia used to great effect, burrowing underground usign Leviathian as a periscope, before quickly using geokinesis to engulf any of the tier's fighters, incapaciting them or creating a quicky fiery attack. This would be similar to Tom's fire above in that it can keep enemies away and burn projectiles but Squigly's fire is also a fire that can hit on the astral plane hitting the soul itself, which no one in the tier has any defense against.

While much of the tier could be a danger at close range, Squigly excels specifically in keeping distance in particuar with space manipulation which would act not only as a defense that can avoid any attack on the tier but also a one-shot move on anyone who even tries to close. Not even the lasers of Cocona+Papika or Welwitschia would work if she simply adjusted her distance from her enemy. This is also seen with her elegant song-based martial art completely unlike the intense rushing stratregies of most of the tier's fighters. It would be a simple matter of timing the moment they charge and using one of many different forms of counters. Also if one would threaten her, Leviathan can act independently and with his 20 segmented body could likely bind the verse to give Squigly more time. Even if they do get a hit in, Squigly is a zombie who could persist way longer then any of the fighters here. She can also attain an intangible state where they would be unable to do anything. And unlike the prior counter, Squigly is known for her intelligence and levelheadedness and is unlikely to be manipulated by Tutu or Welwitschia.

But what about the mecha of Pure Illusion? This is where Squigly's powers would come in most usage. Those are partially sound based as they answer to voice commands of the users. Squigly is a highly skilled sound manipulated and she gains her intangibility by literally turning into sound. It's likely she could manipulate the machines. What makes this even more of an advantage for her is that using her space manipulation she could likely get within the machines as a form of teleportation and she and Leviathan could pilot them. The power of the Mecha are determined by the relationships of the users and their teamwork. Squigly and Leviathan are distinguished as the apex of teamwork, working in perfect unison, they would be hypothetically able to unlock a new level of power from them.

Planet to Universe Scale Threat:

All of the Amorphous are fragments to the psychic ghost known as Mimi, the true ruler of Pure Illusion. Mimi is a mental plane being, part of the psyche of the psychic Mimi who lived in the past. Mimi to battle used a Dark Flip-Flapping to take on a battle form. In this form she claimed she would fuse the universe with Pure Illusion suggesting universal reality-warping. She also turned into a black hole that was going to threaten both the universe and Pure Illusion which is consistent with the claim.

In terms of speed, there's not much concrete but Mimi is potentially relativistic as she is the source of all in Pure Illusion suggesting she would be above the speed of Great Pacoya Nova's laser which left the orbit of the planet it was on quickly.

Mimi has a wide variety of abilities which makes her quite tricky to fight and counter. She can possess people, as she did to Cocona to break Papika's heart and keep the two of them apart. She can manipulate the memories of people and transmute things or change their ages, which she did to keep the two of them apart. She has universal reality-warping and all the abilities of the amorphous, including turning animals into animal themed superheroes, turning back time on a city-wide scale, summoning alternate timeline versions of people and more. She can also passively kill anyone whose near her and shapeshift.

However despite all her attempts, Cocona and Papika were too important to each other to be kept apart and their reunion formed a new super form of Flip-Flapping. These new super forms were of enough strength to destroy the Black Hole Mimi together. Dark Flip-Flapping Mimi was stronger then one of the two Super Flip-Flapping Cocona and Papika but weaker then both together.

In terms of weaknesses....Mimi really doesn't have much outside the fact that she is psychologically unstable and not thinking very logically. She's also hypothetically viable to have her power split up into the amorphous as they were, but that's easier said then done. She also seems to be weaker in the Real World then Pure Illusion so dimensional BFR may be a viable tactic. However the best tactic imo is a mixture of being able to manipulate her so as to avoid her hax dead on, as well as something that can one-shot her.

Cocona and Papika while they're very strong and seemingly pretty hax resistant by scaling, aren't very versatile. For the most part most people that can defeat Full Power Mimi would also be able to beat Cocona and Papika, since they beat her basically by being a really specific counter to her, which brings me to my first counter which is

Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat

Shang Tsung is strong enough to fight against Liu Kang who has numerous times overcome Shao Kahn. Shang Tsung also alongside Quan Chi defeated Raiden. The Mortal Kombat Gods are strong enough that a battle between Raiden and Shinnok was threatening the universe to it's foundations and an attack from Raiden and Fujin was able to surpass the Big Bang. Shang Tsung can also move relative to the attacks of natural sunlight from Kotal Kahn which naturally moves at lightspeed. This is supported by how Raiden is said by an omniscient statement to move as fast as lightning. As Raiden is the God controlling lightning this likely includes the return stroke of lightning which moves at 1/3rd the speed of light.

Shang Tsung is a skilled magic-user and very versatile fighter. However arguably even more deadly he is an incredibly skilled manipulator, regularly manipulating Shao Kahn. It's very possible that he could manipulate Mimi similarly given her much more decayed state of mind. As Mimi is a dead being, it's very plausible Shang Tsung could control her soul with his necromancy which allows him to control the dead. Beyond that Shang Tsung has BFRed enemies like Liu Kang including through other realms. It's likely if Shang Tsung teleported himself and Mimi to the Netherrealm for instance, Mimi would be weakened from being outside of Pure Illusion and Shang Tsung could use his greater degree of combat skill to beat her. He also can hypothetically seal Mimi inside on his Phylacteries or inside his own body as he done with countless souls before.

However it's perhaps his most famous ability that I think would be his victory. Shang Tsung can transform into perfect copies of people including their powerset. If Shang Tsung transformed into Cocona it could seriously mess with Mimi's head and he would gain her incredible resistance. While Dark Mimi would likely beat Super Cocona one on one, if she is distacted and fighting against a Super Cocona who is a much more skilled fighter she would be in a lot more trouble, especially if that Super Cocona could teleport her to a place she's not as much powerful in. Even if Mimi psychotically kills Shang Tsung when he first appears before her, he can act as a disembodied soul and could take control of Cocona to use the same strategy.

Against Cocona and Papika, Shang Tsung can use his telekinesis and far more varied moveset to win as well, though they would be harder to manipulate. Most notably he can telekinetically hold their bodies as he could do to Raiden and then use a Soulnado to take their souls.

That said Shang Tsung would not be invincible. If he was caught unawares by Mimi, or if Mimi focused she could likely use things like her age or memory manipulation to mess with him (though memory manipulate may not work as having many souls in MK gives one resistance to mind hax as seen when Ermac vs Takeda). She could also hypothetically possess him while he probably wouldn't be able to towards her or she could summon alternate versions of him which may compete and pull each other down. For a similar type of counter but with a more general defense you could use

Takofanes from Champions

Takofanes scales to a single King of Edom who can consume universal sized dimensions into their being and to Skarn who created his own universe from many disparate dimensions. He also is similar in speed to characters using the lightspeed dash power suggesting he would have relativistic speed.

Takofanes has a natural command over all undead near him, including very likely Mimi. But even if he doesn't, he has numerous other powers that would work on her including fogging up her mind, which is relevant as her mind is the source of her powers as a psychic and putting her to sleep. More notably Takofanes could use his illusions and Torments of the Damned to attack Mimi with the pains of her past. Mimi as a character is a character tortured by the past, it's the reason why the dark part of Mimi becamse it's own part, agonized by what she had done.

In return almost none of Mimi's powers work based on the sheer hax protection granted by the Dragon Crown and the Spell of Perfect Protection. Takofanes requires overpowering his magic to cause him to crumble instead of trying to hax him, as his spell gives him a resistance to a lot of abilities, everything in the Champions Universe. If anything she would use would work he could easily teleport to one of his hidden dimensions before it affected him.

If Cocona and Papika tried to stop him, it would be relatively easy for him to restrain them with the Silvery Chains of Shalgoth the Younger and bombard them with hellfire blasts or the Dark Lightning of Phar-Khem.

Even Mimi creating alternate timeline versions of Takofanes is unlikely to work as Takofanes is so evil that even his alternate universe counterparts are evil and they serve the same goal, destruction of all life. The only thing I could see working are time manipulation and age manipulation, as time manipulation is a very rare and powerful ability in the Champions Universe. Possessing him may also be possible. For my ultimate counter, I would suggest someone on the exact opposite side of the morality spectrum, that being

Frisk from Undertale, specifically Pacifist Frisk

Pacifist Frisk is superior to Neutral Frisk who could withstand the attacks of a universal reality warper like Mimi, Omega Flowey. Omega Flowey has only 6 of the 7 souls worth that Asriel Dreemur has yet Pacifist Frisk withstood the ultimate attack of Asriel Dreemur, showing that Frisk would be stronger then the verse. Frisk's soul was also moved by Frisk at speeds nearing Asriel's attack which quickly encompassed the universe, showing that Frisk should be able to react to the attacks of Mimi, Cocona and Papika.

Frisk by the end of the Pacifist route has enough DETERMINATION to pull the soul back together, suggesting that raw power or instant death would probably not work. Possession and Memory Manipulation would be nullified by Chara, who is already possesing Frisk and could simply remind Frisk of their friends, their connecting having previously restored Frisk's friends' memories. Frisk is already a child so turning Frisk into a child wouldn't do anything and changing Frisk to an adult would not do anything either. Even if Mimi could de-age Frisk further, which is unlikely considering the reality-warping Frisk has gone up against, Frisk has the power of SAVE and LOAD, which is an even stronger form of the time manipulation that Mimi has. It's a form of absolute time manipulation which not even the physical reality warping of Mimi could affect.

Pulling alternate versions of Frisk while it may seem helpful since it would summon Genocide Frisk, would not actually be helpful because Pacifist Frisk and Genocide Frisk are both only 1 possibility, and there are far more Neutral Frisks that would side with Pacifist Frisk, each having enough power to fight a Universal Reality Warper like Omega Flowey.

Pacifist Frisk also has an immense ability to make friends, or as vs battles wiki puts it "social influencing". This is as good as manipulation but even better as it is completely honest. Pacifist Frisk may be able to get Mimi to remember her original emotions and get her to finally surrender by DETERMINATION and sheer friendship skill.

And that's how to be OP in the Flip Flappers-verse.

  1. THIS WAS AMAZING! this is My Favorite Magical Girl series and honestly one of my fave Anime in general and you Knocked this OUT of the Park! I actually Squeed like 5 times in this blog remembering moments from the show AND in seeing the AMESOME counters you picked! I think its really interesting what this verse is capable of when you break it down, its a trippy mess of a series when you try to analyze it verses wise even to get the stats but you did an impressive job. Its funny to me that Cocona and Papika ended up in every single tier and it helps show the progression from civilians to agents to gods. and Wal really did shine in this despite being a more minor character she certainly is one i liked. the strategies you came up with here were really good, how do you defeat a verse of mostly melee powerhouses? don't let them get into Melee! Teleportation, Portal Creation, Bindings and long range attacks were this verses kryptonite!

So i went Crazy over at least one counter per tier, You used my SAO Best Gurl the Magicka Wizards, Honey chan and the badass sorcerer Shang Tsung and made each and every one of them sound SO FREAKING BADASS it was unreal! its so cool wen you break it down and showcase how they are perfectly suited threats to take this verse apart.

But we both know my favorite is Squigly :P Squigly would be so themeatically appropriate for this verse on top of everything with her bubbly but elegant personality being a middle ground between our protagonists and her great partnership with Leviathan. Her powers make her a total Badass in this series who would absolutely take the city tier apart, despite how funny imaging her trying to fit her giant booty into that mech would be. But it also is interesting to relate how she and Cocona would get along, considering both their moms became vengeful undead terrors to protect their daughter

  2. This seems like a bit of a bizarre verse, which of course means it seems like an entertaining series to me :P. Good counters all around. In the first tier,I like how you found long range fighters like Green Arrow and Sinon that would hit their target most effectively even under the disorientating world of Pure Illusion. Countering warped physics with warped psyches with the Magicka wizards was pretty great as well. I liked Squigly from the second tier and her strategy of taking advantage of their mech with her teleportation and sound manipulation, then proceeding to drive it perfectly with her bond with Leviathan. Frisk is my favorite in the last tier I think; I especially like your point that neutral Frisks would more than likely team up with Pacifist Frisk if it came to that.
