Puella Magi-verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in Puella Magi Madoka Magicka

City Scale Threat:

The fighters for the Puella Magi-verse are primarily the magical girls, born of wishes and the witches, born of curses. These two are very different types of fighters and require different tactics. But first the stat range.

The Witches regularly create labyrinths, personal dimensions that the witches warp to fit their subconscious wills. These dimensions can be rather sizable, reaching several kilometers at least. It's a bit arguable whether this scales to their attack potency but as the witches maintain this dimension I think it makes sense. Besides this there are a number of other feats that would suggest city level stats. Various Witches creating large storms at will, Homura using town level explosives against Walpurgisnacht which it tanked, Mami's massive Tiro Finale in Rebellion...

In terms of speed the most commonly referenced speed feat is Homura vastly outpacing a bullet in Rebellion however as this was performed while under Time Slow so fast that it exponentially slowed bullets in Mami and Homura's earlier fights this feat was likely far slower then the Mach 619 calc suggests. However the verse DOES scale to Momoko Togame who was able to jump into space in seconds, requiring MHS speeds. It's possible the verse is faster scaling to the Alien Witch Itzli who came from the edge of the galaxy, but the timeframe is completely unknown.

So the stat range is MHS City Level, but what are the strategies used by the verse?

Magical Girls are mostly conventional fighters, though they supplement attacking with magically enhanced conventional weapons with numerous other abilities. Magical Girls typically summon large amounts of one-specific weapon which they can telekinetically control to overwhelm enemies. They also possess most famously soul gems, gems containing their actual souls, while their bodies are lifeless corpses. This gives them regeneration and a supernatural ability to withstand damage and pain.

Beyond that Magical Girls also possess enchantment, the power to imbue material objects with magical properties, most famously when Mami turned Sayaka's bat into a magical bat capable of killing a familiar. Magical Girls are telepathic and can speak to each other mentally, as well as heavily resistant to mind manipulation from their many fights with the Witches. Magical Girls can sense magic, and project energy as shown by Elisa in her battle against Lapin.

Their enemies are the Witches, the sources of the labyrinth dimensions capable of warping the reality of their barriers to their warped psychology. Witches also infamously have the dangerous Witches Kiss an ability warping the minds of other beings nearby, though this is not a passive ability and needs to be activated. Witches also have the power to drain the lifeforce of their victims, to the point that it is their food source. Witches also possess the ability to summon familiars, who upon killing 4 or 5 people turn into a witch themselves, as well as invisibility to all non-magical entities.

These two require seemingly different tactics, though there is one tactic that actually would probably be fairly effective against both, and that would be stealth.

While Magical Girls can sense magic, other then that, neither side seems to have vastly enhanced senses, and a sniping strategy would likely be very dangerous. Another reason this would be dangerous is the famous weakness of the magical girls; the soul gems.

Magical Girls rely on their soul gems, and a single strike to them or even moving the soul gem far apart from the magical girl will kill her. As such danmaku or homing attacks that target weaknesses would be very dangerous to the magical girls. Another tactic would be telekinesis, just yanking the soul gem far away from them before they realized what happened.

Magical Girls are also vulnerable to emotional manipulation, supernatural or not. Magical Girls rely on their hope, and if they give into despair, their soul gems will darken and darken until they break killing the magical girl. The only way to recover from this is to purify the soul gem with grief seeds, from fallen witches. Soul gems also darken from magic usage, but Magical Girls have fairly good stamina and can fight many times over many days without running out of energy, so outlasting them is not really a good strategy.

Also while the verse is fairly varied in terms of abilities, there are some abilities the verse doesn't possess (particularly at this tier). My first counter also has one of these, that being

Scanty Daemon from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

Scanty roughly scales to Stocking Anarchy who was able to run around the Earth and into space rapidly as well as survived being sneezed out by the moon, requiring megatons of durability for her surface area.

Scanty has two demonic guns that have a vast rate of fire and accuracy, suggesting she could pellet any unsuspecting Magical Girl or Witch she comes across with tons of bullets, powerful enough to create a mushroom cloud and kill most of them, or hit the magical girl's soul gem.

Scanty and Kneesocks have demonstrated previously the ability to travel as shadows, an ability that would give them the ability to stealth across the verse and being difficult to detect and combat. She also has her own form of dark enchantment as she was able to transform a ghost into a more menacing threat with a touch, suggesting she could do something similar with a witch.

However most appropriately Scanty has the demon bad luck. Scanty's bad luck aura can counteract the Angels good luck aura which was strong enough to consistently win extremely unlikely fortune games. The verse does not have anything like this and it suggests if she would get into a fight with a Magical Girl they would be very unlucky and have their soul get hit by something.

That said you could argue if she got into a fight with a witch she could get overwhelmed by them and their raw numbers with familiars or brainwashed. For a counter that wouldn't be as big a problem for I would suggest

Mew Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew.

Mew Ichigo in her base state easily scales, especially with strawberry bell version up, to the other mew mews who survived a blast from Deep Blue that vaporized several city blocks, requiring kilotons of force. However with her Mew Aqua she scales to Mew Aqua Mew Zakuro who with a single burst destroyed a city-sized dome that the military couldn't break. She also has dodged lightning and scales to the aliens that can quickly go into space.

However it's the nature of her power that would be really broken. Mew Power restores things to their natural state, and has worked on the genetic level before hitting mutated enzymes, as well as having brought things back to life, up to and including an entire city. If Mew Ichigo used the mew power she could restores an entire-city sized area to it's natural state, which would turn Witches and Magical Girls back into the normal humans they were originally, turning them powerless basically. Even witches that were once familiars would be turned back into familiars which while not powerless, are a lot weaker then Mew Ichigo. Given that this has raised people from the dead before it would very likely work even on the Puella Magi verse characters that have their soul out of their body.

Mew Ichigo combines this with a regen system of her own without a weak point (Since her mew power would naturally be restoring her as well), resistance to mental manipulation as shown in Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode (was able to resist the powers of Royal Highness who could brainwash all of Tokyo against the Mew Mews) as well as catlike senses to know if anyone is near, and of course....the greatest of stealth skills.

That said you could argue some of the verse's abilities would be tricky for Ichigo if they got in range. However my top pick for the tier I think is even better, that being

Fuuma Monou, the Dark Kamui from X/1999.

Dark Kamui easily scales above the Dragons of Earth who have numerous massively hypersonic (mostly) lightning timing feats and feats of creating kekkai, their own pocket dimension similar to a witch's barrier. Given his claim with the Light Kamui he is potentially city level as well.

However it's his abilities where he really shines. He possess a natural level of Magic Resistance, and moreover, and this is the crazier part, Fuuma can dispel magic as a Kamui. He can simply dispel any magic the verse tries to use against him, which mixed with his level of skill would make him very hard to even get near.

Beyond that Fuuma has the ability to see the wishes of others, which would allow him a limited for of intent reading for other people, as well as telekinesis strong enough that he could telekinetically crush the soul gems of any magical girl that came nearby.

As a Kamui he also possesses the ability to slash through dimensions, which would allow him to easily travel inside a witches barrier and dispel their magic. It's unlikely their witches kiss would even work on him given his magic resistance.

Basically he can resist or nullify anything this tier can throw at them, and can power nullify their abilities or crush their physical souls at will.

Regional Scale Threat:

There exists stronger classes of Magical Girls, with perhaps the strongest of the Holy Magical Girls being Tart, the Savior of France and Europe. Tart was so strong that she was able to contend with the hybrid of human, witch, magical girl, and incubator Isabeau, a being so terrifying that it's power at weakest encompassed all of France and threatened to send all of Europe into the Dark Age. The two are the strongest fighters of this tier and the main threat. The stat range is MHS Country Level.

Isabeau is a truly horrific creature, able to simply turn off the invisibility of the witches. As smart as the Incubators themselves, Isabeau is a genius intellect. She also can revive herself from death, and absorb the despair from others to grow stronger. She created her own group of Magical Girls, stripping them of their free will to be her slaves.

Tart herself as the Holy Heroine, has her own powerful abilities, including the ability to manipulate fate itself. Beyond that she is a holy warrior capable of opening portals to Heaven or Hell. Her healing is beyond even most magical girls, as she was able to cure the people of the plague, and negated the dark magic of the Isabeau.

Generally required to fight against this tier is someway to put down a creature that can revive itself constantly. Getting in close is probably not a good idea given Tart's ability to BFR to Heaven or Hell, as well as the general ability. Isabeau possesses country scale range, but an even greater level of range might be called for.

Besides this, most of the same weaknesses still applies.

My first counter has a relatively simple powerset, but one I think would be pretty strong on this tier, that being

Perseus Algol from Saint Seiya.

Algol is a Silver Saint and vastly vastly superior to chapter 1 Seiya who was able to atomize the ground beneath him, requiring country levels of force. He can also move fast enough to be comparable to lightning, as other Silver Saint level entities have.

Algol's most famous ability is his Medusa Shield which turns those who looks at it to stone. This is something neither Tart or Isabeau would have knowledge or resistance of meaning if they get into range, they could be suddenly turned to stone.

Algol as a saint has an atomic scale control of matter-energy as well as sensing and telepathy ability. It's likely he would pick up on the pairs weaknesses and just atomize Tart's soul gem.

A Saint Disciple was able to turn a power plant into a planetary threat. It would be child's play for Algol to hurt his opponents from outside their range as well.

And even if Algol's petrification doesn't kill Isabeau he scales to Bronze Saint Unicorn Jabu who could hit intangible ghosts.

That said Algol's powerset is fairly limited. For someone with more options you could pick

Yu Yu Hakusho GIF

Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Hiei scales to be vastly stronger then A-Class Beings who could threaten entire countries. He also is vastly faster then B Classes capable of moving at MHS speeds.

Hiei as a user of Yoki can see invisible entities and hit intangible entities. However more notable is his Jagen Eye which gives him the ability to paralyze entities and warp the minds of others. While his mind warping would likely not work on Tart, being able to flash paralyze others would probably keep him perfectly safe, even ignoring his endurance.

His Eye also gives him telekinesis as well as enhanced senses and clairvoyance, suggesting he could attack Tart's weak point from a farther distance.

Hiei is also a more skilled warrior then anyone at this tier, and would be able to out-melee them, before destroying Isabeau's intangible spirit.

For an even more versatile pick for this tier I would suggest

Dark Schneider (First Incarnation/Pre Time-Skip)

Dark Schneider easily scales to Gara who caught a light beam showing he has comparable reactions. With his spell Black Sabbath he, while rusty, was able to atomize a large section of the ground requiring country level of energy, and was withstand the same level of energy with his magic shields. This shows Dark Schneider is in the same level of energy and would not get blitzed.

Dark Schneider would easily win via the sheer versatility and hax of his abilities. With his spell "Anselm" he shoots magic bolts that attacks the weakest parts of his opponent, which would be super deadly against any magical girl. His spell Crow Bar is a high level sealing spell that would keep Isabeau from reincarnating. His spell Led Zeppelin is a spell that a spellbound around his opponent and starving ghosts from hell that devour the opponents within which neither side has anti-intangibility.

Really looking down his spell list is just a list of abilities that would take advantage of their weaknesses. They are weak to stealth? Dark Schneider has illusions strong enough to create entire illusory forests. They don't have planetary range? Black Sabbath is a planetary range atomzing spell that also has dimensional bfr capacities which is shown to be broken at this tier.

Even if LZ doesn't take care of Isabeau, Dark Schneider's signature spell is Judas Pain, which destroys opponents on the physical, astral AND spiritual level. There's no way she could revive around that.

Beyond that Dark Schneider has a master of all the normal schools of magic of the Bastard!! universe including light and dark magic, suggesting he could use their own magical type abilities against them. Even if they did try to hax him in return, his all purpose Spellbound would protect against it.

Planetary Scale Threat

This tier contains some of the strongest beings in the Puella Magi-verse. This includes Hypothetical Max Walpurgisnacht who was going to stop the Earth's rotation and Doppel Madoka who could reduce the Earth to dust and scales to Kriemhild Gretchen who flew to Earth at sub-relativistic speeds.

Also at this tier are the Madoka Robots, giant robots significantly sized compared to JUPITER.

As such the verse is basically MHS to Relativistic and Low Planet Level to Large Planet Level.

Honestly at this tier given the lack of general range and sensory abilities, I think a cosmic scale sniping strategy would be more effective then ever.

Starting off with a bit of a raw power counter I would suggest

King Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z Anime.

King Vegeta has shown that he can destroy a planet and two planetoids with a wave of his hand showing not just comparable power but also greater range. Given his small and honestly unassuming appearence (and he doesn't even use magic to be sensed), he could likely blast them a few times and end them before they even know what's happening.

Granted he has no resistance to mind manipulation but he would have to lifeforce draining given his massive ki. Also his ki sensing would likely give him the ability to sense the lifeforce coming from the soul gems and allow him to take them as he would scale to Piccolo who telekinetically lifted a pyramid with ki.

He also speed scales to a lot faster then Piccolo's relativistic beam to the moon giving him a speed edge on the verse.

For a more sophisticated counter then this sort of raw power strategy I would suggest

White Mage of Light from Final Fantasy 1.

From her battle with Gilgamesh, White Mages scales to the Large Planetary and Sub-Relativistic Feats of the Kefka and the Final Fantasty 5 cast, which would put her at relative to the verse.

White Mage is capable of harming even abstract concepts like Chrondia, time itself. She is also able to directly interact with and kill souls, or purify them with her holy magic. White Mage's spell Diaja is capable of exorcing the undead which all magical girls and witches quality as giving her a one-shot against them.

She can also heal herself and has ribbons that give her resistance to all of the haxes of the verse.

White Mage would be an absolute tank against the verse, able to purify and exorcise any of the fighters outside the robots which she can outspeed and defeat in raw versatility and intelligence. That said her strategy is rather defensive and prone to having something unexpected go wrong. For a counter that's a lot more immediatly dangerous I would suggest

Darth Nihilus from Star Wars.

Darth Nihilus scales well into the planetary relativistic range showing he has relative power and superior speed to most of the verse.

Darth Nihilus is a force wrath that passively drains the soul and lifeforce of those near him, like a far more powerful version of the Witches lifeforce drain. He wouldn't even need to take soul gems, though given how strong his telekinesis is he could. Darth Nihilus also has telepathy a lot stronger then the witches, superior to beings with planetary scale mental manipulation.

Basically Nihilus does all the haxes the witches do but on a far larger and more passive scale.

His true form is an intangible spirit as a force wrath, meaning the verse would have very few options against him.

It's safe to say the verse basically couldn't get anywhere near Nihilus at this tier, and he can one-shot basically anyone at this verse, as well as having greater range in a sense via his telepathy which extends across the galaxy.

Interlude:

I didn't want to slow down this blog vastly to explain again why Madoka is not multiversal so I made a separate blog explaining it. Ok back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Universal to Multiversal Scale Threat:

Here exists the Goddess Tiers of the Puella-Magi verse.

One of the Magical Girl Goddess Madoka is here. Kami Madoka is an abstract concept, beyond space and time, acausal, capable of rewinding time and destroying universes, capable of duplicating via existing beyond spacetime, capable of one-shotting enough despair to end the universe, seeing all universes that could have been or might be, implied to be able to destroy or change a concept of the universe. Kami Madoka can also borrow the powers of any magical girl in existence and can take their souls up to Heaven.

Her counterpart then is the Akuma Homura, who warped the universe, who sealed away Kami Madoka's memories, who reversed time, and made the entire universe her labyrinth (the grief capable of destroying the universe made only Earth her labyrinth). Akuma Homura turned the race of incubators into her slaves and stole a part of Kami Madoka's powers.

These are the two true god tiers of the Puella Magi-verse. The power limit is MFTL (Quadrillions of times) (though speed can't help much here anyway as Madoka is acausal). Do they have counters or weaknesses.

They do. Madoka and Homura still follow the magical girl system technically and still possess soul gems somewhere or other in all likelihood. Or at least Madoka does, as Homura turned into a Witch-Goddess (Demon). Cosmic Scale Soul Manipulation might be able to beat Madoka even though she is a concept by hitting her soul somewhere.

Madoka is limited in her capacity to affect the physical realm. She could not simply materialize on Earth and be with her friends, but instead was with them conceptually and they will rejoin her in Heaven. She relied on sending her heralds, the Guardians to do her will.

Homura is only partly a conceptual being, and still seems physical to some regard and could likely be killed by a large enough physical force.

Also both Madoka and Homura are emotional beings. Madoka can be naive and trusting, which is Homura stole her power in the first place. Homura is mentally unhinged and could hypothetically be manipulated that way.

Finally sealing would probably work as Homura "defeated" Madoka, trapping her in Homura's world by sealing her memories away. Similar sealing abilities would likely work, particularly on Madoka as she has no physical component to her being anymore.

This leads me into my counters. My first counter would be

Fei Wang Reed from Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles.

Fei Wang Reed clearly scales to Fai D Flowright whose magic destroyed an entire universe in seconds giving universe levels of power and quadrillions of times ftl reaction/attack speed.

Fei Wang Reed can exist outside spacetime easily, creating his own dimension there, from where he planned to warp the entire multiverse, something he can do with prep, including wiping out a conceptual law like Madoka. And it's unlikely they would be able to get close to him to attack as he is capable of ripping the souls out of beings on a cosmic scale and has by scaling good sealing abilities, being able to seal spirits as Sakura did when highly inexperienced.

Fei Wang Reed has cosmic levels of prediction, able to see at least hundreds of years into the future with ease, and so would be able to play a cosmic gambit with Madoka and Homura until he can warp them away. Fei Wang Reed is also an expert manipulator, and could play on their emotions to stop them, as he did to the TRC cast.

It doesn't hurt that Fei Wang is not a physical entity, being the will of Clow Reed remaining after his death, Clow Reed being a sorcerer so strong he could warp away the laws of the universe by accident. Fei Wang can also clearly affect beings not within spacetime as he did to Dimension Witch Yuuko who exists outside spacetime.

However Fei Wang's capacities are a little bit vague, for someone with more defined capacities I would suggest

Spawn from Image Comics (specifically in his King of Hell form).

In this form Spawn is a universal reality warper with the ability to completely warp his circle of Hell, which is universal in size as well as easily scales to weaker Angels and Demons that can quickly travel the universe.

Spawn has natural resistance to the big abilities of this tier, mind manipulation and time manipulation as he resisted Malebolgia's mind control due to the 6,000 souls within him and has complete resistance to Time Stop.

Spawn is as versatile a being as Kami Madoka but is far more aggressive in combat.

Spawn can trap opponents in hellish mindscapes, and given Kami Madoka had her memories altered with, this seems like a viable tactic. As a Hell King he can manipulate the evil within someone to instantly kill them, and given Homura's sin turning her into a Demon it's likely he could insta-gib her by manipulating the sins inside her heart.

He also has multiversal scale telepathy and soul manipulation suggesting he could find and take Madoka's soul from her soul. Finally he has his famous Sword of the Spirit, a sword that damaged conceptual Satan and could take souls, suggesting strongly it could take away the soul of Madoka. It could also seal away Hell from Earth which would likely be effective against their level of sealing resistance.

However, he does not have resistance to acausality and duplication meaning he would have to win basically before Madoka fires and duplicates.

For a counter that can do that, my ultimate counter, and this is probably going to be the most controversial counter of any of my counters of this entire series I would suggest

Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon.

Sailor Moon scales well above Queen Nehelenia (Her Fifth Arc Self was stronger then her in civilian form), and Queen Nehelenia was capable of maintaining her dark mirror universe until she died. The Silver Crystal can also be used to create a universe and the lambda power remade the entire thing. In terms of speed Sailor Moon scales to the Lambda Power which quickly traveled the entire universe showing she should be comparable to Homura's reality warping speed.

Sailor Moon can also exist outside spacetime via the Pluto Crystal and can ignore causality via the Silver Crystal. She has used this to give her younger self power, knowledge and even to go back and protect her younger self.

Sailor Moon has vast sealing abilites, being able to seal off the Black Hole Nemesis. She is able to use the power of the Lethe crystal which can erase memories as Homura did to Madoka.

Usagi can use the lambda power which can hit conceptual entities, including Chaos, reducing it to infinitesmally small. Usagi's light can affect beings outside of spacetime, while she is within as shown during the second arc when her light reached Mamoru in the spacetime corridor while she was on Earth.

Usagi can resist basically all of the abilities of Madoka and Homura. Silver Crystal negs absolute timestop and first arc Usagi could resist brainwashing on the scale Homura showed on the Incubators (most likely...it's not known exactly how many incubators there are though Kyubey did seem to think Earth's populace was large). She resist power nullification as shown from her fight with Death Phantom.

But most importantly is Usagi's charisma. Usagi's charisma is so high Chaos, the source of all evils did not want to kill Usagi and instead wanted to fuse with her. Chaos, that which hates all of existence. Madoka is at heart a friendly young girl, and a Homura is a confused and scared girl. Usagi would be able to charm and manipulate without ever consciously trying too. She could then either simply destroy or hax them with one attack or more likely just befriend Madoka and convince Homura of the error of her ways.

And that's how to be OP in the Puella Magi-verse.

Madoka isn't Multiversal

I love Madoka. I feel like that fact might be overlooked sometimes. I ranked Madoka as one of my ten favorite series of all time. Even the more controversial parts of Madoka I love. I do not attempt to disprove Madoka's status as a multiversal entity because I dislike Madoka. Obviously, almost everyone agrees on a conscious level that your feelings towards a verse should not come into play when discussing a verse in terms of it's power. However if I may be honest, part of why I talk about this a lot is because I DO love the Puella Magi verse, and when it seems like people are taking things out of context or ignoring the story it distresses me because I love the story of Madoka. I'm not a contrarian by nature, I like to be in the majority with my opinions, so me going against majority opinion, especially when it would lower the standing of a verse I love, suggests to me that my position is either correct or a misapplication of versus phenomena, and not because of a bias of mine. Even if you disagree with me on something vs-wise I want things to be cordial, so even if you disagree me with me, I hope you can understand that I am just a person doing my best to figure out the true information and a Madoka fan who does love this verse, and because of that love is trying to be accurate about it.

So my next strategy guide was one for the Puella Magi-verse. I re-watched and re-read every Madoka series. That's a lot. I did this because I wanted to figure out exactly how strong the characters are and see if there is any possible evidence I missed regarding Madoka's status as a multiversal entity. And to be honest, what I found did not seem to meet the standard of evidence as applied to any other verse.

Let's be clear with terms here for a second. A Multiversal entity in versus terms refers to one of two things:

1: A character that can destroy a multiverse, generally with one attack (city busters can destroy a country over time, but we don't generally call them country level)
2: A character that can significantly harm a character with multiversal durability. I say "significantly" because inconsequential damage is usually not used to scale anything to anybody. Dream of the Endless is all of the Dreaming, and a person might be able to warp a small part of The Dreaming but this is irrelevant to the whole of Dream.

The first one is what is commonly called "destructive capacity" while the later is what is called "attack potency". These two are not NECESSARILY the same thing. A character that can create a storm might be said to have town level destructive capacity as they are producing kilotons of energy, though not necessarily in a small enough area that it can harm a human sized entity. Conversely a character can shoot a human sized energy blast that only harms a single person but possesses kilotons of energy thus having town level attack potency but not destructive capacity.

So let's talk about the Madoka multiverse for a second. When I said that Madoka is not multiverse, the first thing I get (well the second thing actually but I'll get to the first thing in a bit) is "Madoka has infinite universes" and then a page from Puella Magi Homura Tamura

This is a bit perplexing to me because as I have never denied that Madoka has a infinite multiverse, that really doesn't matter to my arguments. Though for the record this is a character statement (from Tamura none the less, which is a goofy almost downright parody manga) from a character who would have no known way of confirming literally INFINITE universes as her sensory abilities and speed are both finite. It could simply be extending past the number she can get too, ie hyperbole.

That said this statement really doesn't bother me as evidence of this (I'm usually pretty generous with character statements) but more importantly Magia Record has a statement of "countless" records (which are each timelines)  by a third person narrator which is very solid evidence. Personally I would use that in place of this for evidence of an infinite multiverse but this is nitpicking.

I've looked up the supposed "multiversal" feats for Madoka and some of them are characters stating what will happen to the "world" like Homura claiming she might destroy "everything" or the Avatar of Calamity going to cause what happened to the world of witches to the world of wraiths

However using these as evidence by itself would be ridiculous (Also the latter is really vague as to what is's actually going to do), as they are only considered multiversal by scaling to other feats, or in other words they are recursive evidence. It would be like when I was finding the level of Starfire, if I said she was Star Level because she scales to Blackfire who is star level because she scales to Starfire.

In other words, we do not need to consider feats that are not considered multiversal in themselves, only those that are considered multiversal in themselves. Of these there seems to be three, 2 of which seem to me to be misreasonings and one of which seems downright fabricated. The fabricated one mind you is the one that is most often brought up. Let's get to that first.

"Multiversal" Feat 1: Madoka erased the concepts of witches across the multiverse.
No, she did not.

This is vs battles wiki's justification for this claim

Let us consider exactly what is said here. Madoka states she is going to eliminate every single witch in existence before they are born. Kyubey states that this is going to defy the laws of causality and Madoka states that that she will destroy or change any rule that stands in her way (talking about causality, not witches.)

Let us look at what is shown to us, in detail, about how Madoka eliminates witches (4:50-7:10). Madoka shoots hundreds of arrows at least which scatter across spacetime to dying magical girls whose soul gems are filled with grief, and removes their grief, telling them they don't need to curse (witches are born from curses) or hate anyone anymore, how she will bear their karmic destiny and their burden for them. Consistent with her original wish (Quoted in full: "I want to erase all witches before they are even born. I will erase every single witch in every universe, past and future with my own hands...I don't care what you call it. All those magical girls who held onto their hopes and fought against witches I don't want to see them cry. I want them to stay smiling until the end. If any rule or law stands in my way I will destroy it. I will rewrite it. That is my prayer. That is my wish. Now grant it, Incubator!") every single magical girl dies smiling, their grief taken away by Madoka and they themselves brought up to her Heaven.

As Madoka stated she erased every single witch before they were ever born and prevented the tears of every single magical girl so they would smile until the end.

Nowhere does it say that Madoka erased the CONCEPT of witches, only that she erased every single witch before they were born, as she said in her own wish. The closet the franchise ever comes to saying this is the Wraith Arc of the manga where it is claimed the universe was rewritten (not saying that Madoka erased any concepts) and that Madoka created a new law/laws (Japanese is ambiguous generally about singular/plural distinction) which seems to be pretty obviously the law of cycles which is how Madoka is known in the world of wraiths.

We know for an absolute fact that the concept of witches still existed after Madoka's ascension. We know this because they are CENTRAL to the plot of Rebellion. The main plot of Rebellion is the Incubators creating a space isolated from the rest of the universe so Madoka can not intervene and Homura was still turning into a Witch. Madoka did not destroy the CONCEPT of witches, if she can not intervene Magical Girls would still turn into Witches. She is simply stopping each instance of a witch from being born as she said she would, and as shown in the original series. This is very consistent. When Madoka said she would not let a rule stand in her way, and she would destroy or change it if necessary she was saying so in response to Kyubey talking about the rules of CAUSALITY not the concept of witches.

"Multiversal" Feat 2: Madoka caused every universe to warp

The statement generally comes from here (7:50)

Note Kyubey only says the universe is in the process of reordering itself in accordance to Madoka's new law(s). People seem to pretty much automatically assume that all the universes were affected because Kyubey can not confirm things about parallel universes as he states in the same episode. However that's the first point which is nothing claims the multiverse is reordering itself. In fact later in the episode Madoka's description of other timelines/universes suggest that they do not in fact all exist at the same time. To quote her "Both the universes that could have been and the universe that might one day be." Note how both of these are stating them as possiblities, not as other timelines that exist all at once. This makes sense in multiple temporal dimensions, that each one has their own timeline, but that there might be a higher timeline where each one exists one at a time.

But much more important then that, this is an example of people completely ignoring the mechanic by which something happened. Madoka went back in time and stopped every magical girl from turning into a witch, which naturally causes the universe to change what it's procession of events.

In DC Comics before it was revealed that Doctor Manhattan was behind the events it was thought that the Flash going back in time created a new timeline (the flashpoint timeline) and later merged the timelines

No one at this time though Barry Allen was Universe Level or Higher and the reason why is pretty simple. Being able to cause changes to a timeline via time travel is, while very technically a form of affecting an entire universal+ structure, is not considered a display of power. If you want to be generous you could say it's a form of destructive rather then attack potency, but usually most people are inclined to just say it's a feature of time manipulation and not really combat applicable most of the time.

The Universe in changed and reordered itself in response to Madoka's actions, namely the erasure of every single witch before they were born. Going from there to Madoka can warp the entire multiverse is a giant leap that is not at all consistent with what is shown.

"Multiversal" Feat 3: Madoka is omnipresent in the multiverse

Of the arguments this is probably the most convincing of them, though I still think it's pretty evidently wrong. What they're generally talking about is this.

"Everyone....Everyone will always be with me. From now on I'll be everywhere...any time, right there. That's why even if you can't see me, can't hear me, I'll be right there, by your side."

😭😭😭

umm...anyway. Madoka is comforting Homura. Homura expressed that she (Madoka) will be alone forever, and Madoka says she won't be alone, because she will be everywhere, and no matter where Homura is, Madoka will be there by her side.

So let's take a part why this is not a multiversal feat.

First off this is a character statement. That isn't a big problem here, as there is no reason to think Madoka would be either wrong or lying to Homura, nor is that implied anywhere else.

Second off this is taking a literal interpretation of what is being said. Now granted, I think this calls for a literal interpretation, and I advocate for taking the literal interpretation when it's not made clear the other way to try and be fair, but still you could MAYBE argue that this is meant to metaphorical.

However there's two bigger problems with this. One is that again, Madoka never claims she is going to be omnipresent on a Multiversal Scale. Madoka is not a being that is bound by space, time, or causality. Meaning Madoka can appear at any number of times and places. This is more akin to mass scale duplication then it is to omnipresence. If another character can also move to outside spacetime and is acausal, then that isn't helpful.

Also part of the problem of her not stating that she is omnipresent on a multiversal scale is, as mentioned before, timelines do not seem to exist at the same higher-dimensional "time" in the Puella Magi verse. She describes universes that could have been and might be, not the universes that are. In other words her being omnipresent would only describe her being omnipresent in the universe that currently exists.

However that isn't getting into the real problem, and it's the bigger problem. Let us grant that Madoka is in fact a concept that extends across the multiverse. So what?

Let me give a comparison for a second. Darkseid is a conceptual entity from the DC Multiverse and his presence in that multiverse destroys it

Darkseid's concept inherently was destroying the multiverse and turning it into a supermassive singularity where all is Darkseid.

Madoka's concept never does anything like that nor is there any evidence it CAN do something like that. There just seems to be this assumption that Madoka's concept just EXISTING throughout the multiverse somehow gives her the ability to destroy the multiverse. But Concepts are not physical things. If a character's soul was the size of a universe, we wouldn't say that automatically makes the character universe level.

If anything the whole part of the final episode about how Madoka won't be able to interact normally with the physical universe anymore, as a strictly conceptual entity, suggests the opposite, that her conceptual body has absolutely no ability to affect the physical realm, though Madoka does have some feats of affecting the physical reality.

Overall I don't think there is any evidence that Madoka is multiversal, and I think the evidence brought up to say that she is multiversal is either a misinterpretation or outright contradictory.

OK I believe you, how strong are they?/I don't believe you, but how strong do you think they are?

I think the Madoka Top Tiers are Universe Level. Madoka was able to one-shot Kriemhild Gretchen who was enough despair to end a universe, Homura reality warped a universe at the end of Rebellion, and Magia Record suggests that Madoka could end a record/timeline (though the exact mechanism is admitting-ly unknown) :

"The Goddess decided to simply watch over it.
But if it's a bad record, then I have to break it, right?
When the now nearly familiar record, carved with mysterious, fun, and frightful voices becomes truly complete...
Would the Goddess break it, or would she bestow her blessings on it?"

It is a bit strange that according to word of god Homura is equal to Madoka in power given Homura only took a fraction of Madoka's power though "Madoka = Homura" and "Homura only took a fraction of Madoka's power" are not technically mutually exclusive, just means Homura got a lot more power from somewhere, probably from her karmic destiny.

The verse lacks a lot of good speed feats, though as Madoka is an acausal being and exists outside spacetime, speed is not hugely relevant.

Top 10 Strongest DC Characters

My general view on the current strongest 10 DC Characters. This is not including temporary forms that became much stronger, just normal character power levels.

10: Father Time

Feats: Much Stronger then the Endless. Comparable to Mother Night though lacks feats.

9: Mother Night/Pralaya

Feats: I believe Mother Night and Pralaya are supposed to be the same being based on their descriptions. The Void without any description or substance. Pralaya absorbed all of creation back inside her casually. Mother Night's presence can threaten even an Endless like Dream of the Endless. Pralaya claimed she could absorb an aspect of God like the Source.

8: The First Circle

Feats: Oversee the rules of existence and set the rules and bounds of the Endless. One member is Glory, who is also called the Shekinah which is the term also used for the feminine aspect of the Presence responsible for mercy and battled Carnivore after he usurped the power of Presence, albeit it was causing him to internally destroy himself. Both First Circle and Pralaya have feats against an aspect of God, however Mother Night does have some bounds (she can not absorb creation until the time of the sea of Brahma) which suggests the First Circle decided on her boundaries.

7: Synnar the Demiurge

Feats: Created all of the First Creation. Survived the wrath of the Presence. Is a Demiurge suggesting he shares the powers of the Demiurgic Power, the Infinite Power of God, half of God's abilities,  known to some as the Godwave. Predates the Fourth Creation and thus the First Circle. The First Circle does have feats of defeating a half of God potentially with the Shekinah vs The Presence, however Carnivore was self-destructing when that happened.

6: Lucifer Morningstar

Feats: The Endless have no claim over him. Shaped the infinite power of his brother into the Fourth Creation. Stated to be the strongest being in creation. Scared Dream of the Endless when when Dream had his treasures boosting his powers. Has the Infinite Will of God giving his the ability to change anything into anything else, as well as vast manipulative abilities. Bears half of the power of the Current Presence, rather then the Presence as of the First Creation. Also is much more clever then Synnar.

5: Michael Demiurgos

Feats: The Current Demiurge. Possess the infinite power of God. Stated to be the strongest being in Creation.  Can create a new infinite creation by accident. Power maintained every atom of all existence. Lucifer and Michael are about even, but Michael threw Lucifer out of Heaven once, while supposedly being merciful, and later threatened to throw Lucifer out of Heaven again.

4: Monitor-Mind the Overvoid

Feats: The Infinite Void outside of Creation. Practically impossible to compare to the rest. Much weaker beings like Perpetua could tear off pieces of Monitor-Mind to create her three children and the Monitor-Mind could not mentally handle the existence of Creation outside it. That said it's hard to imagine anyone being able to practically beat it as it represents the blank sheer of paper.

3: Elaine Belloc

Feats: Has the abilities of both Michael and Lucifer. Became the New Presence, the original Presence imposing it's will upon Monitor-Mind which broke it's mind. Possesses the power supreme of God, the power equal to Michael's power and Lucifer's will.

2: Great Evil Beast

Feats: Embodiment of Evil, Chaos, and the Void. The Darkness to the Presence's Light, at once opposing and one with the Presence. Just coming into contact with the Presence threatened to destroy all beings that existed, including Lucifer and Michael. Stalemated a much more experienced Supreme-Power Being.

1: The Presence/The Source/God/The Writers?

Feats: I believe strongly that the Presence is supposed to be the writers. Anyway, the Presence in it's form as The Source is the source of all that exists, including all other beings on this list, as well as the Source Wall which only the strongest beings in DC Comics can even get past. Created 4 Creations, one of which broke the mind of the Monitor-Mind. With casual will halted and paralyzed Lucifer and Michael. Absorbed Great Evil Beast within himself, accepting the burden of the necessity of evil for the existence of good. Was so powerful that his whole character arc was his immense unfathomable plan to give his creation their own free will outside of his.

The Powerpuff Girls-verse Strategy Guide

How to be OP in the Powerpuff Girls-verse.

Note: PPG is actually part of a larger multiverse known as Cartoon Network, however this is just an analysis of the singular universe.

Local to City Scale Threat:
So, essentially everyone in the verse, including civilians scale to massively superhuman from "Hot Air Buffoon" where civilians survive (including a dog surviving point blank) a nuclear missile that devastated the City of Townsville. Given Proximity and Surface area this should likely be at least town level. This is somewhat consistent with the original pilot showing the Amoeba Boys who are considered the weakest of the villains being able to briefly survive the heat of the sun, which is town level across the surface of a human body. The Amoeba Boys are actually smaller then average humans being being about the size of 5-year olds though this should likely still be multi-city block level for the weakest villains in Townsville.

The Amoeba Boys also briefly matched the PPG in speed in that original pilot. In the same episode the PPG flew from the Earth to the Sun in 10 seconds, requiring speeds dozens of times that of light. When the PPG were only a few days old they were able to fly from a distant asteroid to Earth in seconds requiring speeds of ~1.3 times the speed of light. This is also consistent with the relative low tier the Sandman who must put to sleep every single person in the world. As such the power speed limit is FTL Town Level.

At this level are most villains in the verse and as well as most civilian allies of the Powerpuff Girls. Most Lower Level Kaiju are likely at this level. This is also probably the level of the casual Powerpuff Girls. You could view the counters to this tier also as "things the PPG would need to get serious to beat".

In terms of abilities; there is a startlingly high amount of hax relative to the amount of general abilities the verse has. The Amoeba Boys, while highly unintelligent, are hard to kill due to their regenerate nature as living Amoebas and also can with their unique physiology mutate diseases to be far more dangerous then normal. The Undead Magician Abracadaver possess hypnosis and transmutation abilities. The Sandman is a magical being that can fly around, seemingly invisibly, teleport and put people to sleep. On the mental plane there's also Patches, the fiendish imaginary friend who can affect the physical but cannot be affected in turn by the physical.

There's also the nefarious dark birthday clown Mr. Mime who can project a dark aura that spreads across town, draining the color from everything, as well as removing sound and also seemly causes apathy and stops things from. changing. Ace, the leader of the Gangreen Gang also has a decent manipulative skill and Professor Utonium is also a supergenius.

A lot of these are not actually projectile or beam based, they're direct, meaning that dodging/agility based strategies or attack reflection are not very useful strategies. Spacing in general is not very useful. So what strategies DO work? What weaknesses does the tier have?

I will say, in general the verse lacks range at this tier. The highest range at this tier is Mr. Mime's Grey Aura which extended quickly over several city blocks but it wasn't instant and most of the characters seem to have a range of only things that are a few meters away from them at most. Also I will say the tier doesn't have very good anti-stealth options. Outside of the Professor's superintellect, there's very few anti-stealth counters like passive defenses (outside of the Amoeba Boys regen but they are so unintelligent that a competent stealth counter could run circles around them without them understanding), or enhanced senses. This suggests to me that a sniper strategy could work. Given how much of the hax is biologically based (diseases, sleep, emotional changing (apathy) it seems that a good strategy would be robots, artificial lifeforms that can't catch diseases, don't sleep, and don't register emotions.

The major problem with that is Patches. Patches is a mental plane being that could simply break down the inner workings of any most machines you could use against him, and any robot character, at this tier at least, that I can think of won't have any mental plane abilities.

However that does bring up a good idea. Why not fight fire with fire and use ethereal type strategies, astral or mental beings that are likely to have these abilities? Outside of Mr Mime's essence drain the same lack of biological form would give same advantages. There would be stealth and many of them still possess range.

This leads to the verse's most unique weakness. The Sandman originally defeated almost the entire world with his sleep manipulation and would have won if not for the PPG's ability to fight on the mental plane. Likewise HIM has almost gotten the best of the girls by shaping their dreams. As such a sleep/dream would likely be considered very strong. Beyond that on a similar scale, the Girls initially couldn't defeat Patches, but were able to use their super imagination to create an imaginary friend of their own to beat him, suggesting characters with godlike imagination would be considered very strong. Which brings me to my first counter

Max from the Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.

Max as the Daydreamer was able to subconsciously warp and shape the entirety of the Dreamworld, a likely universal mental plane feat and by the end of the film learned to control his power. In the PPG World he could literally summon massive armies of imaginary friends like Patches to overrun the world in seconds and given how he looks like a normal human while doing it, he would be completely stealth-ed.

Also in terms of speed he scales in speed to Mr. Electric who was able to fly from Dreamworld stated to be directly outside the solar system to Earth in an unspecified but probably not very long amount of time which should likely give Max a speed advantage over the tier.

That said if Max IS discovered, he could be immediately one-shot as his durability is only normal human level. For a more well-rounded counter that could defeat the entire tier, though it would take a good amount of time, you could use

AmpFibian from Ben 10.

AmpFibian possess ftl speeds based on his fight against the speedster alien Jetray who can move ftl casually, as well as multi-city block level stats. This suggests he would be comparable in speed to the tier albeit lacking in raw power though close enough that his elasticity should survive a hit or two if he got into a fight. That suggests he would get into a fight however.

AmpFibian can convert into raw electricity or go intangible at will suggesting no one at this tier could even affect him outside of maybe Mr Mime and Sandman, though with his mind-reading capacities AmpFibian could casually avoid them. This is because AmpFibian is....as the name suggests, an amphibious being that can survive perfectly fine underwater, where none of the tier have shown they can fight normally in. AmpFibian could simply wait in the depths of the sea and emerge quickly for an attack when the verse's defenses are down and kill them. This would take a while but it would be relatively safe for AmpFibian.

As for the mental plane being, AmpFibian has the noted quality of being able to absorb energy. This is how they read mines, by viewing the electromagnetic pulses in others brains. Imagination is actually formed by the electromagnetic pulses in someones brain meaning that A: It's possible the Imaginary Friends are being of electromagnetic energy fundamentally (somewhat consistent with how the fight between the PPG's imaginary friend and Patches created brief electric energy surges) and B: AmpFibian could absorb and manipulate the energy of peoples minds to create it's own artificial superimagination like the PPG had.

The biggest threat is the cunning and intelligence of Ace and Professor Utonium. This strategy is relatively safe but would take a which could allow either of them to enact a plan of some sort to stop AmpFibian. For a character who can win quicker I would recommend

Nephrite from Sailor Moon.

Nephrite has complained that the Youma are pitifully weak compared to him, and the Youma can survive Sailor Moon's Ultrasonic Crying attack, which could destroy an entire dimension, as well as keep up with fully transformed Sailor Senshi when Minako before even transforming for the first time was able to accidentally zip to Venus at FTL speeds. This means that while not being over the limit, Nephrite would have a clear advantage in stats compared to the tier.

Nephrite does not even have to put himself at risk since he can send his shadow to fight for him, his shadow being an intangible shadow that can disguise itself for an alternate form of stealth, and can brainwash or possess people at will. Even those brainwashed by Nephrite's Shadow can themselves brainwash others. Being an intangible shadow, Nephrite's shadow would be immune to basically all hax in this tier. It could also drain energy, which could be effective, as even intangible things in the SM-verse can have their energy drained or absorb things into darkness.

Also Nephrite has inter-dimensional teleportation, meaning he could teleport where no one in the verse could harm him and project his shadow until the tier is defeated.

However there's one character I think would be even better, having all of the verses's weaknesses, this being

Nocturn from Danny Phantom.

Nocturn would be like Sandman, except SO much worse.

It's unknown exactly how strong Nocturn was originally, but more likely due to scaling he would be at least multi-city block level scaling from Episode 1 Danny's Crater, and in terms of speed is likely MHS due to early speed feats of moving comparable to lightning, potentially relativistic scaling from Technus' Ghost Rays which moved from atmosphere to Earth very quickly. This means he would potentially start out weaker then the verse though he could grow to be comparable in speed at least and also vastly vastly more powerful then this tier by feeding off dream energy.

More importantly, Nocturn is a Dream Entity, and moreover a ghost one. Existing in Dreams means basically no one in this tier can affect him, even ignoring his intangibility which would make him so basically no one could affect him in the real world. He also has invisibility and possession which makes him not just a stealth option, but a stealth option that can even outside of stats one-shot almost everyone in the verse. Intangibility isn't very helpful given Danny Phantom ghosts have anti-intangibility

Nocturn can also access all the verse's collective subconscious dreams, and utilize them to imagine his own army. Beyond that he can just summon his own army already, the Sleepwalkers which themselves have most of the abilities that make Nocturn so dangerous meaning it's basically a form of pseudo-duplication.

Planet Scale Threat
This is the tier of the powerhouse superheroes, most notably the Kindergarten superheroines the Powerpuff Girls, as well as strong supervillains and kaiju.

This tier is most likely stellar+ based on HIM creating and maintaing a chalk dimension with it's own star, moving the Earth at relativistic speeds with a casual wave of his claw, and being relative in strength to Monkey who was able to move the entire solar system. In terms of speed, this verse is casually FTL and when serious gets up to trillions of times the speed of light based on the Powerpuff girls fighting expotentially increasing nanobots, breaking the time barrier, and spaceships that can casually cross the entire universe in a somewhat short span of time. Note this would have to be ~17 days or a slower timespan to be below trillions of times the speed of light.

In terms of relevant haxes, the verse has, particularly from the villains, numerous forms of matter and mind hax, including matter hax up to the planetary scale. These mostly come from Mojo Jojo and HIM. HIM also possesses inter-dimensional range, dream manipulation, possession and reality-warping.

The Powerpuff Girls themselves possess astronomical senses (Blossom also possessing a danger sense), freezing ability (Blossom was able to freeze a planet-level meteor), time travel, invisibility, duplication, mental plane fighting, as well as possibly magical spatial manipulation? Also most impressively of all, Buttercup can curl her tongue.

Finally there's Great Dynamo, a Mecha designed for the PPG by their father Professor Utonium to protect them while fighting. While it's rarely used now due to it's collateral damage, if it was needed the PPG could use it. Dynamo, fitting it's purpose is tough enough to tank the attacks of PPG and similar enemies.

In terms of weaknesses, my first idea was, based on the sheer number of impressionable children make up the top tiers (The PPG, Rowdy Ruff Boys, Princess), Fuzzy Lumpkins rage, and Mojo's tendency to speak for extended periods of time, I would think some type of manipulator. That said Him is a talented manipulator and Mojo, despite his long-windedness is a supergenius, so manipulator strategies, while it might be helpful against a lot of the verse, isn't OP by itself combined with the right stat range. Though it would likely be helpful.

It should be noted that most of the verse's big fighters rely on a chemical inside their body, a chemical known as chemical x which provides superpowers. If this chemical was removed then their bodies would massively depower. As such molecular manipulation would be likely relatively strong, though it should be noted that molecular manipulation and psychological manipulation would be strong against the same characters so focusing on those two specifically would be sort of doubling up effectiveness against some characters and not defending against the other threats.

Luckily a lot of the characters have weaknesses.

Him is a demonic entity and so would likely be vulnerable to holy powers or sealing him inside his own dimension. Princess relies on technology and so metal manipulation or technological manipulation would absolutely mess her up. Fuzzy Lumpkins relies on his gun and his anger and removing either of them will severely weaken him.

Also a lot of the characters canonically lack fingers. I can't imagine how that would be used against them, I just wanted to list it as a weakness.

Should be noted that any long-term strategy wouldn't really work as the PPG can also just go back in time if they are threatened and do it again, meaning a victory basically has to be swift, or the counter has to have their own time travel.

Which leads to my first counter

Ultraman Zero from Ultraman.

Ultraman Zero was much stronger then Ultraman who was comparable to Ultraman Jack who created the stars of two separate constellations. Ultraman Zero's speed was fast enough to quickly fly past galactic clusters at over 98 trillion times the speed of light. As such Ultraman Zero would be at least comparable to the verse's top fighters in stats in base form, but Ultraman Zero has gotten much stronger over time and stronger forms and so would likely be able out pace the stats of the verse.

Ultraman Zero is a massively versatile fighter. He could use his telekinesis to disarm his opponents of their weapons and could hypothetically use his purification ability to dispel HIM and remove the Chemical X of his opponents. Ultraman Zero as an Ultraman Zero is mostly made out of light and has the ability to manipulate holy energy, able to dispel Belial after he possesses Ultraman Zero and destroy his dark soul. He can also remove viruses from opponents, suggesting he can affect the cells (it's also noted that his general energy blasts are noted as affecting on the atomic scale) of his opponent where the chemical x would be. He was even able to remove souls Alien Bat absorbed to get stronger and resurrect peope by putting their souls back in their bodies.

Ultraman Zero could use his holy power to exorcise and seal HIM's presence, and dispel the chemical x in his opponents bodies. Ultraman Zero can also manipulate time, most famously being able to turn back time meaning he could theoretically counter the PPG's Time Travel.

That said, Dynamo could likely take some blows from Ultraman Zero and the verse could possibly overwhelm him with numbers. While Ultraman Zero can duplicate, he has only shown duplication into 2 at once. While Ultraman Zero would likely win, for a character that is even more versatile and probably safer I would suggest

Herald of Galactus Nova from Marvel Comics.

Nova may be a relatively weak Herald of Galactus but she is still powerful enough to casually destroy stars and cause supernova. As a Herald of Galactus, Nova has the capacity to traverse the universe at a quick pace, suggesting her speeds should likely be trillions of times the speed of light which would make sense given she is relative, if slower then beings who can move at quadrillions of times the speed of light like the God Thor.

Nova as a Herald of Galactus is a manifestation of the power cosmic, and can manipulate it at will. This, combined with her massive cosmic awareness suggests she could casually drain the chemical x out of the entire planet at will from a cosmic distance. She can also enter hyperspace and travel between dimensions at will, suggesting she could enter HIM's dimension at will to fight him directly.

Nova in particular has feats of gravity manipulation and can collapse anyone in the verse by simply opening up a black hole on their location. Given Black Holes warp spacetime massively, this would also likely be a counter to time travel by distorting the time they would travel within.

While Nova could win at range, she still faces the threat of being detected and overwhelmed, though it seems unlikely given her versatility and ease of one-shot. That said for a stealth counter to the verse I would suggest

Luna GIF

Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

In terms of power, Princess Twilight Sparkle with the power of the 4 Alicorns was able to fight evenly with Tirek with the magic of all of Equestria including Draconequus Discord. Discord was able to casually move the sun and moon at relativistic to ftl speeds with ease, despite not having magic remotely related. Luna and Celestia, who are equals, are casually capable of moving the sun and moon across the sky every day. Discord was also able to casually travel from another nebula to Equestria at speeds of at least millions of times the speed of light.

As such Luna's power is roughly comparable with the verse though her speed is a bit below. That said Luna can disguise herself as quite literally anything, including inanimate objects. More importantly, Luna can manifest in dreams. Luna as the Princess of the Night has governance of the night and it's associated powers, including dreams. Luna was even able to merge the dreams, mental space, of an entire town though this required all of her concentration. This is a mental feat beyond even what HIM has been shown to do, and she could likely do this to defeat the top tier fighters of the verse.

If detected, she isn't helpful, as she can transmute things, having transmuted a bucket of toy spiders into real spiders. So long as she doesn't get blitzed, Luna could likely warp the dream space of all the strongest fighters to defeat them.

Given her rank as an immortal alicorn princess, one of the strongest magic-users in the verse, it's possible Luna also knows more actual spells, which would include time manipulation, mind manipulation, gravity manipulation, summoning and sealing.

Princess Luna could probably infiltrate the verse and defeat the strongest fighters by stealth though in a flat out fight she would be at disadvantage due to speed.

For a character that I think is the perfect counter I would suggest

Red and Black Lantern Harley Quinn from DC Comics.

This is the fusion entity, fusion of Harley Quinn with the Red Lantern and Black Lantern which possessed her. She was able to overpower New 52 Hal Jordan. The Lanterns need to cross large sections of the universe regularly requiring speeds of trillions of times the speed of light. New 52 Hal Jordan was comparable to New 52 Superman, who was relative to New 52 Orion whose shockwaves of his clash destroyed a star system as well as New 52 Wonder Woman was able to tremble New 52 Apollo, the sun itself. New 52 Superman also flew from the edge of the universe to Earth in 60 days, requiring speeds hundreds of billions of times the speed of light.

As such Red/Black Lantern Harley would be comparable speed-wise with the verse, but a bit stronger in terms of raw power. However the clincher is her abilities. As a Black Lantern, Red/Black Lantern Harley can drain the lifeforce out of her enemies and also likely be able to remove the chemical x out of her enemies. Red Lanterns also have dimensional travel and limited dimensional manipulation suggesting she could follow HIM back to his dimension. Red/Black Harley also has from her rings forcefields and various lantern constructs which would act like her own form of Dynamo level defense and duplication.

This is all just buffering Harley's own natural abilities. Harley has a godly level of skill able to compete with New God Big Barda in skill, and somehow get the upper hand on an evil alternate version of Wonder Woman. Harley is also an expert manipulator, having learned both from her psychological doctorate, and also from Bugs Bunny cartoons apparently. She manipulated a reptile monster into killing itself as well as manipulated people into making a treaty for universal peace. She could manipulate her way around most of the verse pretty easily.

It helps that from her natural abilities and from her lantern rings, Red/Black Harley has resistance to pretty much every ability in the verse, as well as fourth wall breaking and absolute scale attacks, capable of attacking her own authors and forcing them to draw what she wants. Mojo Jojo once beat up the PPG Narrator and had almost complete control. It's very likely Harley could simply do the same thing to get complete control of the verse.

And that's how to be OP in The Powerpuff Girls-verse
